Fabulous stay at Lower Mill. The house is beautiful. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay in the mill house. It is beautiful inside and the surrounds are idyllic. Samantha was on hand with lots of information about the local area. We very much enjoyed the grand piano and the large kitchen. We would definitely come again as felt completely at home.

We had a great stay at Nicola’s place. She provided really useful information before we arrived so we could get in easily and felt right at home. The house was unbelievably well equipped, we cooked multiple meals in the kitchen and toys to suit all of our children ranging from 0-8. The cot and toddler bed were set up waiting and had linen which is so helpful! Nicola was very responsive and friendly. The estate has a restaurant on site, but they recommend booking particularly at weekends. There is an amazing outdoor pool, where we spent most of our time. For the indoor pool you need to be bang on time as it gets very busy! A perfect stay for us. Thank you

The Carthorse Barn was perfect for us travelling as a family of three. It was spacious, super clean, great shower and fab bath, big comfy beds. It has the flexibility and privacy of a self-catering place with little touches of hotel luxuries. Annette provided clear instructions and was responsive through out our stay - we really appreciated the late check out too. We had family staying in the nearby Isis Lake lodges and as lovely as they were, everyone preferred Carthorse Barn!

It was a perfect place for our family to get together and relax. The hot tub was devine. When next in the area, we will definitely want to stay there.

Lovely place, clean and decorated very nicely. Lots of games etc which was a bonus for the children!

Excellent instructions to find the property. House was clean and comfortable. There was sufficient plates, cups, glasses, etc for the number of people stating in the house, plus a large pan for cooking. The children who were part of the group appreciated the toys on the property. The park was quiet and well maintained. We would definitely consider staying here again for a family get together

I stayed for a month in Rachel's place as I moved back from abroad and needed a base to get settled back from. Rachel was a great host and always there for support, she even gifted me some homemade flapjacks during my stay The property was exactly as pictured if not slightly bigger, the location was easy to find. You very much feel like you're out in the countryside in Bishop Sutton and the lake is 10 minutes away and it's a lovely walk.

This was our second visit to this amazing Airbnb: It is very central to walk into the heart of Bath with the theatre and lots of restaurants within a few minutes walk. The private parking space is one of the reasons we selected this home. It is cosy and comfortable. Everything you could possibly want. We want to come back in the warmer weather to enjoy sitting in the private courtyard garden. Hosts were very responsive. Would 100% Recommend staying here. Thank you .

Myself and three others had an amazing two-night stay at this apartment! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how spotless and well-maintained everything was. The space was not only sparkling clean but also beautifully organized and thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials yoy need. The cleanliness and comfort made our stay incredibly enjoyable. The location was convenient, the check-in process was really easy, and the host was friendly and responsive on the app. We truly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the high standard of cleanliness. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pristine and comfortable stay!

Geoff was the perfect host and we had everything we needed during the stay. The apartment is tastefully decorated and well-stocked - including with some delicious home-made muesli and biscuits - thank you Geoff! It has all the convenience of being situated next to a really handy retail park whilst also backing onto peaceful greenery and a lovely lake which you overlook from the leafy balcony - this was a really nice surprise! The apartment is modern and well-laid out and feels really safe and secure. We'd definitely stay there again. Highly recommended!

This place was incredible. What a fantastic weekend walking the dog around the lake and seeing old friends. Beautiful area and perfect property for me my sister and the dog. It had everything you need including lovely fresh eggs from the chickens. The roast dinner at Chew Kitchen which is within walking distance is to die for! Lovely local pub called the Pelican. Easy check in and out, very clean and lovely open plan kitchen living room. Cannot wait to return!

We had a lovely stay over the new year at this beautiful property. We were warm and comfortable and the cottage is finished to an extremely high standard throughout. Huge lounge with a fireplace and loads of sofa seating. Kitchen/diner is bright and airy with large lantern roof light and underfloor heating. Dining table with seating for six. All the kitchen appliances and equipment you could possibly need. Bedrooms have king size beds and loads of wardrobe space and two of them have patio doors opening to the outside. Jacqueline was very welcoming and provided bread and milk prior to our arrival, along with some lovely treats. She responded quickly to any queries we had, and could not have been more accommodating. Cottage is very private despite being adjacent to a larger house. Plenty of parking available. Only a couple of minutes’ drive into Chew Magna, or a 10-15 minute walk. A nice village with three pubs, a coffee shop and a convenience store. We would definitely come again.

Travelled here for a New Years Eve get together with friends. Lovely house, actually bigger than it looks in the photos. Friendly host. Surrounding views outstanding with good view of lake. Very clean and modern deco. Pub next door worth popping into for a drink. Locals proved to be very friendly. Good location for travelling to places such as cheddar. Would highly recommend staying here.

Lovely peaceful cottage with all the amenities you could need. Very relaxing. Sitting out on the balcony with views of the lake was the perfect switch off needed. Beds are super comfy and the kitchen has everything you could need. Small gestures like supplying shampoo, hairdryers etc helps the ease of packing. Nice touches with the board games too. Communication with Chris and Alexandra was effective and fast. Very friendly. The estate this is on makes this place suitable for families as well as couples. We used the outdoor pool, tennis courts, football pitch and sat in the resturant for a coffee but the beauty of this place is the cottage is tucked away from it all so if you want to switch off from it all you can. We took a 40 minute walk into Ashton Keynes following the Thames trail. Very easy to find and follow. Thank you Chris and Alexandra. We will be recommending to others.

Lovely stay at Frances' place. Very cosy. Love the fire. Very quiet and peaceful, lovely to wake up in beautiful peaceful countryside in the morning. Frances also provided some bits and pieces such as fresh bread, butter, jam and milk which was much appreciated.

An absolutely charming, well equipped cottage. As a young family the cottage was perfectly set up for our toddler with everything we could possibly need and more. She particularly loved playing with the toys you had left! Jason is the perfect host. Always super responsive, great recommendations and really thoughtful. Thank you so much for having us.

We really enjoyed our long weekend stay at The Hermitage. The accommodation is as described,if not better , very comfortable bed, great view from the patio. A 5 min walk up behind The Hermitage reveals stunning views of the countryside & Blagdon Lake. Cheddar Gorge is a short drive away. We thoroughly recommend The Hermitage for a relaxing break.

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel's cozy retreat in the Cotswolds. Although we never met her in person, she was incredibly helpful—always just an instant message away and quick to answer our questions. The home itself was charming and the wood-burning stove was very welcome on those chilly February evenings. We especially loved the beautiful lake location and took full advantage of the communal well-heated outdoor pool. The surrounding countryside provided plenty of good walking trails, though a word to the wise: pack a pair of wellington boots if you plan to explore, as the paths can get quite muddy. Overall, our time here was truly memorable, and we’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and picturesque getaway in the Cotswolds.

We had a fantastic time and would thoroughly recommend!! Being located in the lower mill activity village was amazing… we made use of the indoor swimming pool 2 days in a row and were able to hire out the little soft play for our kids for an hour. The on site restaurant was also really nice. This place is ideal for families with kids. We didn’t have to use the car to go anywhere else at all over the 3 days we were there. We will definitely be rebooking to come back.
