On my way, I messaged our host because I had not seen the arrival instructions. They were immediately responsive and helped me find the email, and sent a second set of instructions to be certain I would get in easily. The house was exactly as it was pictured and described and it was perfect for a group of six guys in town to race our sail boat. We know Holland, the restaurants and our way around. Our hosts provided additional choices we were not aware of. Erin was proactive about local trash pick-up and the neighborhood. Very quiet and peaceful stay after long days out on the lake.

My family and I were blown away by the house and its surroundings. We were a party of 10 adults attending my nephew's wedding at the Marion Magnolia Farms venue which was about 2 miles away. There was plenty of room, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to make meals. Except the food, of course. Plenty of bath towels, blankets, etc. Bring bottled water. The backyard setting adjacent to the lake was tranquil and peaceful. The weather was beautiful for October (high 70's). We spent the evening around the fire pit making s'mores. No mosquitoes or flies. Yay!!!!!!! You literally will not want to leave!!!!!!!!!!!! But we had to get back to reality. For 3 days and 2 nights we were able to escape the busyness of everyday living. Thanks Amy for allowing us to have a wonderful mini-vacation/wedding celebration at your AirBnB.

Mark’s place was absolutely stunning! Sits right on Gun Lake. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets can be seen from front to back. Extremely clean & full of whatever supplies you may need. Very communicative & knowledgeable of the area.

This was a perfect cozy and peaceful cottage. we can't wait to return in the warmer months but we still enjoyed waking up to the pretty lake. We were warm and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could want! The house was very clean! Ryan is a terrific host and responds promptly with friendly and very helpful messages.

Our stay at the Harbor House was just what our family needed! A peaceful get away while still being close to Lake Michigan, stores and restaurants. Host was very responsive and made the whole process a breeze. Would love to come back in the summertime!

Jennifer’s house was incredible for our 2 family vacation. The kids had an amazing time kayaking and splashing in the pool, and it was wonderful that they had plenty of books, toys, and games available. The adults enjoyed the separate living rooms, beautiful back porch, and well-stocked kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. There is an uncrowded beach just a mile down the road with easy parking and nearby Holland had plenty of shopping and great restaurants.

Howard is an amazing host. He was super responsive and accommodating to our large group. He had all the amenities that were listed on the property and more! We had more than enough towels and even kitchen appliances, spices, and utensils. His instructions were clear about checking out and our group had a wonderful weekend. We would definitely come back if he’ll have us! Thanks, Howard!

Seven of us (3 adults and 4 teens- ages 12-18) enjoyed our stay over Labor Day weekend! Melissa stocked the house with games (indoor and outdoor!), linens, everything you’d need in a kitchen, and even firewood for the fire pit! We were delighted to find 4 kayaks with every size life vest we could possibly need in the garage. And the kids LOVED having a bunkhouse to themselves. We spent the weekend fishing, playing games, cooking, and enjoying a private channel off the lake. It was ideal! Melissa responded incredibly quickly and was kind and thoughtful from start to finish.

Perfect home for a long weekend that included a Notre Dame football game. The home had plenty of space for two couples and the kitchen is beautifully updated. The house is exactly like the photos and even better in person. Lovely large yard, plenty of seating out by the lake, kayaks for use, a firepit; a great vacation home. Bonus on an ND football weekend: much less traffic coming from north of campus, easy drive getting in and out of campus.

Party of 10 stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights for a fishing charter on Lake Michigan. The views of Lake Allegan were gorgeous with beautiful sunsets and sun rises. The only thing that we felt that cabins sat quite high above the shoreline with a steep set of stairs down to the lake. That was fine for most of us, but it was a bit difficult for the elderly in our group. It is very possible this was included in the listing description, and we just missed it. Anyway, everything worked out fine, and everyone enjoyed themselves grilling, sitting by the fire, swimming, and kayaking. Kendal was excellent every step of the way. Highly recommend!

Holly’s Cozy Cottage was just that! It was comfortable and clean with yard games and a fire pit. The screened in porch was where we spent most of our time. Holly provided lots of unexpected amenities to make our stay comfortable. Holly was friendly and quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend a stay at this AirBNB!

stayed here with my friends for my birthday for a weekend and we loved it! very nice place. we especially liked the hot tub. the garage room is cold in the winter so we didn’t have anyone sleeping in there but besides that everything about this place was perfect. was my first airbnb stay and i felt safe here! hosts were very nice

We had a wonderful stay. The home was clean, comfortable and we had everything we needed plus some extra snacks we did not expect. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and taking in the surrounding nature and the peacefulness it provided. Communication was excellent and the host was very accommodating. This was the perfect spot close to Dowagiac for my parents and my family to stay for attending my sisters wedding. The trees were beautiful colors and we enjoyed the relaxing cottage. The place had everything we needed for the few nights we were there.

Doug was a fantastic host and the ice house was a fabulous place to stay. Very nice lake and having boats accessible was the cherry on top - fishing on the lake was great fun and having south haven close by is a plus. We stopped at the local farm stands and had delicious local produce. We will return to this great getaway

The cabin and property were perfect for our relaxing weekend getaway. Everything in the cabin was upscale and very clean. We loved the fireplace. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Mark's place while skiing all weekend at Bittersweet. We had a great time! Mark was super helpful and accommodating and even offered my husband to borrow his skis :) he hooked us up with discounted passes and had great local recommendations. We'll definitely be back! Thanks, Mark :)

This place was well beyond our expectations. First off the host was extremely accommodating. She accommodated my special needs for my husband’s birthday weekend. Great location as well had dinner & tasting at journeyman. So close. The cabin itself was so clean & had everything. The grounds were great & so nice to wake up to. Had coffee in the enclosed patio, took a nice walk around the resort & had such a peaceful time in the cabin. The master bedroom was so comfortable, & I’m very picky about that. This stay made me look into owning in this actual resort. My only regret is our kids are all older now, college age, that I didn’t find this place when they were younger. This is a fabulous family place. I will definitely be back, plus highly recommend this to others! Great host, clean cabin & great central location!

Sitting in a comfy recliner next to the fireplace and looking out at a tranquil snowy landscape with majestic cranes was just the relaxing break I needed!

We had an excellent time as a family at David's cabin. Everything was as advertised, and more. David was very proactive in communicating with us and responsive to any questions we had. The cabin was really, really beautiful, with peaceful surroundings and all the comforts of a well appointed home. David was clear about the pet policy and our dog was clearly welcome in the home. David left really nice touches for the humans as well, with cookies and muffins on our arrival. The house was well stocked with everything we needed, and we are particularly impressed with how well everything is labeled...light switches, cupboard doors, electronics, etc. Very, very well done. We enjoyed our long weekend, winter escape!

What a beautiful cabin! My husband and I were looking to get away for a few days and enjoy a cozy, private place! This home checked all of our boxes! Very nicely kept, home was orderly, comfortable and had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect as it snowed the day after our arrival and was peaceful and serene! We were able to start a fire in the fireplace and enjoyed relaxing on the comfy sofas! Huge soaker tub in upstairs bathroom and plenty of bedrooms and a fun basement area! The perfect setup! We will have to bring some friends back with us next time- tons of room for several guests to enjoy! We dined at several local restaurants (within a 10 minute drive) that were delicious and spent some time on Water St for shopping, food, and brews! A must-stay place!
