From the moment we stepped through the door, the property exceeded our expectations with the thoughtful inclusions and the well thought out facilities. There is so much space, that even with our large family, it never felt crowded. The children were safe, easily occupied, and content in the environment. The outdoor pizza oven and BBQ provided even more options for meals in the beautiful garden filled with roses and fuchsias! Because the property offered such a variety of activities and entertainment, we did not need to leave for the entire long weekend. We had the most incredible time. There really are no words that can adequately describe the experience. Thank you, Jason, for providing such a beautiful and well equipped space for us to enjoy. I'm sure we will be back!

Had a fabulous time on this beautiful property and Vicki was a friendly and responsive host. This was a great place for a long weekend getaway for our extended family, which included a toddler and dog. Standout features were the private, peaceful and natural bushland, the spa and pool, the well appointed kitchen, and child-friendly amenities. Our small granddaughter enjoyed the various toys, and playing in the pool and clam sandpit. The only downside was that our daughter's dog (a dachshund) kept escaping as she was able to fit underneath the fences and gates even though we tried various means to prevent this - therefore, this place may not be suitable for small dogs who don't have good recall :) . All in all we would stay here again for a family holiday as it was close to perfect as we could have wished. Highly recommended!

The holiday home was situated overlooking the Derwent River and mountains. You are able to while away hours watching the cruise ships berthing. The home itself is well appointed with most things required to self cater. Furniture is stylish and pleasant to be around. A second living area in the basement allows children and adults element of privacy. Wifi and Netflix available.

This is an outstanding property with a wonderful and responsive host. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The house is very private and well appointed, maintained and stocked with quality produce and supplies - we were also welcomed by a beautiful hamper, and warm service. The property itself has stunning views from almost every window. We enjoyed using the gym (located in an adjacent private building which can also be used as a study), pool and spa. We had a few things on our list to visit for the Huon Valley but were very content to stay at the house and enjoy all the amenities. We would most definitely return here when visiting Tasmania.

The view is amazing with a lovely pool and spa. Having two living spaces was great to allow people to do their own things. Very comfortable beds. Bill was great getting back to us with any questions.

The view of the water and city was spectacular; we absolutely loved our stay there. The massive indoor pool and games area were fantastic for the kids as well. There was plenty of room for the whole family to spread out. Definitely recommend.

We had an excellent few days with our family at Marina’s house. The house is simple with large rooms and lots of space indoor and out. The view is lovely and ever changing and the kids loved the ducks and native hens. An ideal place for a family gathering.

Owner's more than friendly to offer real flexible check-in and outs, clear instructions too helping us navigate our way through, great experience here

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Shane's accommodation. The house was clean and tidy. We were able to check in earlier than expected and our check in was very easy with Shane's instructions. Although we were out most of the day, when we came back to the house, it felt like a home away from home. Very cosy!!

Farida was a very professional host with a place that had everything we needed. I will definitely recommend the place to others and stay there again if I come back to Hobart.

Beautiful house with lots of history and stunning roses on a veranda that had a lovely view of Hobart. We enjoyed our stay, the location was excellent for walking to the town centre, waterfront and botanical gardens. Freya was very nice, responsive and provided lots of helpful information on the surrounding area. Highly recommended, we would come back again to this little oasis in Holbart.

Amazing stay at Dolphin View Beach House. The house has everything you could possibly need. The location is amazing. Beautiful views of Primrose sands beach and only a short 5 minute walk to the beach itself.

We loved the house here across the road from the beach , the quieter end of the road. House was lovely & clean, just little issues with the remotes on two of the tvs but reported & hopefully will be rectified .. especially with tennis on 😜 .. we would stay again , great place for children too ,

This is the second time I have stayed it’s a great location View to the mountain while eating breakfast is fantastic but no snow this trip hoping for dusting of snow next trip in may enjoy the walk to the supermarket ( 5 mins ) What can you say the pinball machines keep you busy great father and son activity Once again many thanks tony always available for help if you need it

This was a fabulous property for a couple travelling with a friend and family member. Well equipped kitchen, and coffee pods provided, along with a few basics such as jam, cooking oil, milk. We loved the outdoor areas: spacious deck for sitting and taking in the stunning views, plus tree stumps around the BBQ/fire pit area. The house gets a lot of sun, so can take a while to cool down in the evening, but it's wonderful: full of light and stylishly and minimally furnished so it feels uncluttered and uplifting. Nice to have a bath tub as well as shower. Many of the materials and fittings look like they may have been salvaged, and have a 'worn in' look which may not appeal to everyone but we appreciated the ethical and eco-friendly ethos, as reflected in the 'coffee table' books on hand. Would happily stay here again, it's a wow setting and very peaceful.

Shelley left us a bottle wine and chocolates and kept us informed when repairs had to be done on a faulty air conditioner as well as another bottle of wine. Very pleasant lady to deal with. Cheers Rena and John

Our family was visiting from the States and Western Australia and the location was perfect. The place was very clean and exactly as described. We were very happy with our stay.

Angela’s holiday home is exactly that a home away from home . The feeling of simple shack/ holiday life but with attention to every detail is evident from the opening of the door . As the classical music played the sense of relaxation begins …… The extensive open plan kitchen , living , dining extends out to wonderful outdoor living deck space with wonderful vista amongst the agapanthas and yachts bobbing in the bay below … The beach is right in front of the shack a few mins walk with crystal clear water from Fredrick Henry Bay. Guests have an enormous garden and bbq Patio area soaking with summer sun and the added company of a Terra Cotta Warrior standing amongst the foliage . Each bedroom has superb linens / soft pillows /incredibly comfortable beds & rugs and electric blankets for those cooler Southern coastal nights . The art work amongst the whole of the house brings a feel of nostalgia- great water pressure beautiful books. Highlight separate retreat games reading room 10/10

Extremely spacious and comfortable Airbnb! Short 10-15 min drive to Hobart for all the tourist activities. Ros was incredibly helpful and provided easy instructions for our late night check in and even left the light on for our arrival. He was able to help coordinate a neighbor borrowing me a needle/thread to repair my 9 month old son’s hat which helped alleviate the stress of trying to look for some while on holiday. We enjoyed relaxing at the home and were pleased with all the provided necessities for a great stay! Highly recommend!

This was our second stay with Sharon And Andrew, a last minute get away. We highly recommend there place for a group, girls weekend away or couple it is fantastic.

My husband, teenage daughter and my Mum had a lovely 5 nights at Stuart’s place. We also had our golden retriever with us. We loved the quirky historic feel of the home, modern bathrooms, plenty of space including the extra living area downstairs and unbeatable location in a nice neighbourhood but only a few blocks up from the CBD shops. It’s also only 15 min walk to Salamanca. The kitchen was very well stocked with pantry items. Would have liked to have more glasses for drinking water, as only 4 provided. Nice little patio overlooking a raised lawn and garden. Parking in the driveway for 2 cars. It was quiet considering the central location. Comfortable beds and cosy at night. Would definitely stay again.,

Julie's place is very large, comfortable and well set up for groups. As a mountainbiking group on our last night we had everything we needed. We were lucky to enjoy an early check in and found the garage handy to clean bikes ready for departure back to NZ. The Master Suite with black out curtains and bath was a real treat to enjoy after having not ideal sleeping conditions the previous 3 nights!

We loved our stay in this house. The views from the balcony are beautiful and the home is spacious and clean. We used the kitchen and found it ideal to make a quick group meal. The beds were comfortable. This house is lovely to use as a base to explore Hobart. Andrew and Lisa are responsive hosts who made our stay very enjoyable - looking forward to our next Hobart stay!
