We had a wonderful stay at Yakub Sir’s property! Both he and his wife are incredibly warm and responsive hosts who ensure everything runs smoothly for their guests. The location is easy to find and exactly as shown in the photos—clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. It’s freshly prepared in their kitchen, extremely hygienic, served in generous portions, and absolutely delicious! The menu has a great variety, and I highly recommend trying their home-cooked meals. The property is well-situated with a scenic medium-level trail leading to Kankeshwar Temple nearby, and Kihim Beach is also just a short drive away as mentioned in the listing. I’ll definitely be returning here the next time I visit Alibaug. Highly recommended for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway!

I am English staying with young family.. 6 of us a laf minute booking. Much to appreciate from RUPUL as a Barrister at the Bar in Kandy/Colombo and country’s high Courts . I’m a forever returning visitor. The sitting room so stylish and crammed with not just law material! The breakfast was excellent and very accommodating for taking 2nd one with is to sight see early. It was private, peaceful, and had everything we needed… The attention to detail made it extra special. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway! Malika and Dave have a very nice getaway at Casa Cabana. It's perfect for those who want a nice peaceful place away from all the buzz. Their property is a part of a ranch and they have multiple options for stay. Guests are provided with a kitchen that has basic staples like tea, coffee, oil, sugar, salt. It is also equipped with a few basic utensils. You can cook using some of Malika's organic vegetables or get some food to whip up a nice meal. There is no WiFi or TV which was fine by us since we got to spend a lot of time outdoors or just playing with the kids. The space is pet friendly and the property works well for couples or a small family. Great food cooked by Malika and her help and very responsive caretakers as well. Single day stay just for downtime with our pet. Perfect place for two adults and a dog whose definition of bliss in life is getting to spend time quietly together. Lake was a lovely quiet walk. Everything was very clean and homely. Very touched by Amit and Caroline's special gestures to make us comfortable. I had forgotten odomos. They got their staff to go and get it for us in under 30 minutes. The pantry had all basic staples. All in all we are so glad to have taken this day off at Scotty's cottage

Very well maintained property for a quick getaway from the city. Amenities were up to the mark. Bathroom is also well equipped taking into consideration the requirements of senior citizens as well. Summers could be a bit problematic as afternoons get way too hot. Overall ventilation & cooler helps with the excessive heat. But it’s a definite yes in the monsoons. I’ll definitely plan up a visit in the rains for sure.

Hi, This is our first trip to Wayanad and we booked this place based on earlier recommendation. Boy, how lucky we were. We reached around 1930 hours but the caretaker Mustafa was waiting for us there. Mustafa comes early in morning and stays till late night. Host Mr. Vinoth was great. He was guiding us and shared local recommendations as well and reached out well early to make the checking process smooth. Breakfast was complimentary and we loved the Puttu, Kadala Curry, Pure Bhaji. It changes everyday and we asked for Puttu again after having appam the next day. Highlight was location, home and the bonfire with Barbequed chicken. It was amazing, we asked for a repeat the next day. Loved the family time with Bonfire, the chillness and the amzing food. Mustafa takes personal care of you. The only minus was the missing AC / Washing machine. However, Mustafa was kind enough to get our cloth laundered and there was no need for AC. Wayanad is AC buddy!!! Loved every Moment!!!

Amazing place! Had a wonderful stay at Drongo’s nest! Pavana was an amazing host, close to the beach, wonderful restaurants around. Pavana’s instructions were clear. Felt at home.

Abhijay is a large airy and bright bungalow with a great view. It feels like how a home should with personal details and some rough edges. There’s plenty of room for a large group and it is a fairly comfortable space. The terraces and rock garden are standouts. The garden is landscaped with a lot of attention to detail and you can comfortably spend a couple of hours discovering its treasures. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials, crockery, and tableware. The only issue you might have (as a large group) is the number of washrooms. There are only two, but you know that going in. Overall, we had a great time. Vaijayanti is a warm and communicative host. Highly recommend!

Stayed between 15-18th of April 2025. This is the second time I visited this property. Absolutely a gem of place to relax and unwind. The location is full of nature only the sound of the birds can be heard. The views are stunning with a beautiful lake in front and a large paddy field. An unspoilt village to show children how the rural village life goes about. There are plenty of bicycle for the guests to use FoC and Can take a bicycle ride across the village and on the bundt of the lakes in and around and enjoy the picturesque views of the lakes and the Galkiriyagama rock that spans for 7kms. During the night only the sound of nature you can hear. In the evening a dip in the lake with the villages is not to be missed. The property is very clearly kept. The food is absolutely tasty and made in a kitchen cleanly kept. Ideal place to enjoy traditional Sri Lankan Rice and Curry and other Sri Lankan food. A place definitely you want to revisit over and over again. Great value for money.

If you want an authentic nature immersed experience, this is the place. We had the best time here. Oriole is a home-away-from-home. The hosts have lovingly curated this home and the human touch can be felt. The mornings are filled with birdsong and sunsets are blissful. It was a pleasure talking with Seema ji and Aditya ji. Amazing souls with great personalities. Definitely visit this home if you want a top-notch stay with a world-class host.

I must say we had a wonderful time at the property. We (me and my wife) work and we were looking for some peace and tranquility. We got both, thank you for having nice caretakers at the place too. Overall we have decided to come back again 😀

This is a small and cozy yet a very beautiful place to stay with your gang or as a couple. Shoutout to the property maintenance folks. They are extremely responsive and never hesitant to go an extra mile to delivery service. There’s a kitchen in the property so Swiggy won’t be needed. The food is more than decent and they make it super fast as you order. Additional charges for food will be charged. Overall, extremely satisfied!

A very peaceful getaway, lots of space to relax and use of both pools without other guests. Sharmila was very responsive and helpful during the booking process, and Sunil was on site when we arrived to guide us to the villa and help us settle in. Highly recommend this place, it’s good value for money for the amenities offered and we left feeling relaxed and refreshed. We liked being able to be fully self catering and as there were no other guests it was extremely private. Thanks and we are looking forward to coming back!

We had a great time at Aiyappa's place. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Property is surrounded by coffee plantations and offers a peaceful atmosphere. Host was always there to guide us. He recommended local attractions and scheduled our visits in and around coorg. They offer homely delicious food.
