We had a lovely time staying at Peter’s place. It was very clean, well set up and as described from the listing. It was nice and quiet. Surrounded by lovely fields which you could look out to whilst eating. It’s about 10 mins drive to Dunwich and 20-30 mins drive to Southwold so plenty to do nearby. Peter was also a very friendly and helpful host. Would highly recommend to stay here if coming to this area.

We stayed at Hedgehog chalet with our 2 children as a base to explore a bit of Suffolk. The Chalet was easy to find, plenty of parking and easy to access. Beautifully presented, fresh and clean , the kitchen was well equipped for our needs and the crisp white bed linen and towels were lovely ! There is a nice courtyard garden space too. Rachel left an informative welcome guide to the local area , attractions and restaurants which we found very useful. This was the perfect space for our weekend break and would highly recommend for a small family.

Thank you to Louis and Roy for creating Moat Island. We felt really lucky to stay. Magical place as if someone’s Imagination dreamt it up. When new guests arrived you could hear them making the amazed sounds we did. Excellent and social open kitchen, loved that. The tents are top quality, sturdy, warm, large and homely, dry as a bone. Bed so comfy. Private own patch of space. Around our tent was our own family fire pit and a table to eat at, a compost loo if we didn’t feel like heading to the very well made modern bathrooms on site. Kids liked the hammock and swing bench. The natural pool was incredible, could of sat on the deck all day looking at the scene, lovely to swim in. Peaceful, driveable to everything - we went to the Broads, Fritton Owl Sanctuary, the North Coast, Holt, Pensthorpe Nature Reserve and into Norwich. Could just stay on the campsite all day though, plenty to do. I didn’t want to leave, will be back!

Had a lovely few days at the Crows nest, would highly recommend, the location was great for restaurants and shops. We couldn’t fault the apartment it had every thing we needed, very comfortable would definitely like to return

The hosts were really friendly and the place was in great surroundings. We took our dog and the grounds were great for her. The property was a real home from home, well equipped and spotless. Loved it and would highly recommend for a stay in Suffolk.

The accommodation was super beautiful and extremely peaceful. We personally didn’t venture out so I can’t comment on local places to see/things to do however a booklet was provided with heaps of information. Scott was responsive and allowed for a slightly later check out which really made a difference to our morning. I already can’t wait to come back and relax in the scenic views in the serenity of an air conditioned room!

Super conveniently located in the middle of Holt. Very clean and comfortable space

I booked this gorgeous house for a reunion of old school friends (and dog!) and it was honestly perfection- ALL the rooms are gorgeous with en suites (so there were no sorry souls who arrived late and got stuck in less the desirable room as so often happens!), we had all we needed to cook in one night and plenty of space to sit inside and outside. The garden is so absolutely stunning and perfect for our dog as it’s secure. We also did several stunning walks nearby (all with a pub on route!) and have a lovely meal out just 10 min drive away. All in all, I couldn’t recommend enough and we will defo be back- already talk of an annual gathering at this spot!

A beautiful, spacious and quirky house. Many historic features kept in the renovations but nothing too precious so the children (aged 9-12) were able to play inside & out. The huge kitchen/dinner/lounge made a great family space to eat or chill out with plenty of furniture for all ten of us. We all enjoyed pottering about in the river behind the house in the little boat & Toby lent us a bigger boat & kayaks for a longer trip in a better part of the river. We toasted marshmallows over the fire pit, cooked pizza in the pizza oven & watched bats flying over the water in the evenings. Good beaches & a cinema are only half an hour drive away and the Emmaus charity shop & cafe (10min in the car, 45min walk) is well worth a visit. Good biscuits in the kitchen when we arrived was a nice touch.

What a great find, walking distance to Wells harbour. Peaceful and quiet place, immaculate converted boathouse, couldn't recommend it enough for a dog and family friendly stay in stunning Wells.

The house was one of the nicest we’ve stayed in. We loved what the owners had done to the property. The attention to detail was great. Both the interior and exterior spaces were very well designed and the workmanship and quality of fittings etc. were exceptional. If we lived nearer we would be asking for details of all of your contractors! 😊 Bedding and towels were of good quality. Felt rather like staying in a boutique hotel.

Rosie’s place is absolutely stunning! The attention to detail is unbeatable and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, including a lovely welcome basket! It was spotlessly clean and luxurious, with little details like the luxury spa towels and toiletries adding to the whole experience. We would love to stay again!

Had two nights in accommodation with three friend so pleased to find a property with four double beds. Very comfortable house and we loved sitting out on patio in the sun when we arrived. Also used local coffee shop Grounded and Unthank Arms for a meal both very good. Easy to walk into city and parking at address all good.

Peters house is a real gem of a find. We were a group of 6 friends and 5 small children and the house worked perfectly for us. The bedrooms are really spacious and well equipped, the living space downstairs is brilliant as the rooms are big and there is plenty of space to spread out. The house was very clean along with clean linen and towels. The playroom was a big hit with the children and have the adults a chance to relax in the cosy lounge. The garden is immaculately kept along with the plants that the owners clearly take much pride in keeping. The location is also fab, being a short walk into town or drive to Southwold by the sea. Peter and his wife are very helpful, kind and accommodating. We are hoping to return again next year and thank you for a wonderful stay.

Had a fantastic long weekend at the house. We were 4 young families and there was plenty of room for us to enjoy time both together and seperately if needed. James & Mary were the perfect hosts, providing us everything we needed and more. The house is absolutely stunning and has everything you could need for your stay. Fantastic all round :)

What a fantastic stay! Kim was very communicative in the booking and check in process. The flat was spotless on arrival and she had left lots of treats for the stay with coffee/tea/condiments/spices. It felt just like a home away from home. The location was fantastic for walking everywhere as it's so close to the train station. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!

A beautiful place next to the water in such a peaceful, calm location in Norfolk. A lovely place to relax and take a break. The property was clean and easy to find with the clear instructions received prior to arrival. The pub at the end of the drive is great and the coast wasn't far away by car. Verity communicated well and responded to any messages I had. Thank you again!

Myself and 6 girlfriends stayed in the Attic Apartment at Lanwades Hall and it was absolutely perfect for us. We all got our own rooms which was absolutely ideal for our group and the number of bathrooms and toilet were spot on. Alex the host was absolutely fantastic throughout, responsive to all questions before we arrived and was so friendly and helpful whilst we were there too, nothing was too much and the complimentary Celebrations went down a treat! :-) We could not fault the location either, it was absolutely ideal as it's just a walk away from Kennett Station so we were easily able to do a day trip into Cambridge within 30 minutes. It's also just a 10 minute taxi into Newmarket where we went for a fantastic dinner at Unico followed by cocktails and a live singer at a fantastic bar called Gee Gee's. If you were going to the races then it would also be perfect. Thanks so much Alex for everything, we expect to return again.

My mum and I have just returned home from a long weekend staying in the Orford Studio and it was absolutely perfect. The accommodation is lovely - it is the perfect size, clean and cosy and has everything you could ever need. All the little touches and extra's made us feel at home straight away - we especially loved the underfloor heating and DVD's available! The check in and out is very quick and easy and Sasha made sure that we were all okay and had everything we need. We loved the site of the studio's; we went on some walks around the fields and loved waking up to the ducks in the morning. The location of the studio's is perfect - it's so close to all the neighbouring towns and places we wanted to visit and was a perfect place to stay. We had an absolutely amazing stay here and already want to return - I highly recommend! Thank you!

We had a fantastic stay at Bridget’s place. It was a perfect retreat with everything you need, spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. It’s in a great location - short walk into Blakeney which is a great spot for exploring the beautiful north Norfolk coast. Bridget really went above and beyond with thoughtful touches like a welcome pack of bread, beer and cookies. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend jackdaws annexe and we’d love to return in the future.
