We wanted somewhere to stay as a family to celebrate a special birthday which falls on Christmas Day and this was perfect in every way. The house is really, really lovely with plenty of space to enjoy spending time together in really comfortable and well-equipped surroundings - exactly as in the photos with lots of additional, thoughtful touches not even mentioned in the description. Caroline is a fantastic communicator and her instructions and local guide are really well written so we had everything we needed to help us enjoy our stay. Any questions we did have were responded to almost instantly. Finally, Hook Norton (or Hooky as we now know it!) is a lovely, picturesque village and there are local shops and pubs within a short walk so it's ideal if you don't want to drive anywhere. We can thoroughly recommend the brewery tour and the pub quiz at the Pear Tree Inn, both a convenient stroll home after a couple of pints of Hooky!

Such a lovely calm location, the cottage was super clean and cosy. There are amazing farm routes to take walks and there’s so many furry friends!! Rita is lovely and so helpful, we will definitely come here again :) x

Fantastic stay at the Hayloft cottage. The beautiful private surroundings just outside of Stratford upon Avon town was perfect and kept immaculate. Wendy made us feel right at home and the place was snug and cosy for the 4 of us. Complimentary treats for valentines went down a treat and we loved the pool and hot tub experience which was all pristine and well organised. Thank you so much Wendy, already planning our next trip! Grrat couple of days in the Cotswolds. Stephanie was a fantastic host and the house had everything that we needed. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a group stay.

Our stay at The Stable was superb! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found the perfect retreat—peaceful, cosy, and just right for us and our three dogs. Our host, Karen, had placed a well-stocked welcome basket of provisions, including fresh eggs, milk, bread and more…The enclosed garden was a fantastic bonus, allowing our dogs to run safely while we relaxed. It has everything you could need for a stress-free getaway. The studio-style layout felt spacious and inviting, with a well-equipped kitchen, a lovely little dining area, and a super comfy bed. One of our favourite things? The large patio doors opened straight onto the decking, where we could sit with a coffee (or a glass or two of wine) and take in the country fresh air. The location couldn’t have been better—secluded enough to feel like a true escape, yet just a short drive from Stratford-upon-Avon and the stunning Cotswolds. A massive thank you to Karen, who was an exceptional host!

The Barn was beautiful, clean and tidy, comfortable and beautifully decorated with everything we could have needed. The surroundings were lovely and we enjoyed a few walks around the property. I can not recommend both The Barn and The Hayloft highly enough. I booked both properties for myself and immediate bridal party for my wedding at Dodford Manor. Both properties were spacious, luxurious, beautifully decorated with everything we could have needed. The perfect space to get ready before the wedding. Janice was really helpful in the run up to our stay, always responding to questions within minutes, she went above any beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. When we met Janice and her gorgeous dogs after arrival she was so welcoming, making us feel right at home. Janice I am so jealous of your beautiful home! We will be back again in the future for sure.

Outstanding. Lovely barn conversion. Very tastefully done with the added bonus of an electric car charger. Cathryn was fabulous and I think we ended up meeting the whole family! Wonderful farm shop with a great range of fresh veg, bread, meat etc. so handy as you don’t have to drive anywhere for your supplies (they don’t sell alcoholic drinks). Centrally located with easy access to so much in the area. Hannnah (daughter) is also setting up lodges with hot tubs due to open in the Spring of 2025 which I’m sure will be to the same high standard as the barn and will be amazing ! Really enjoyed the stay at the old dairy and would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Thank you so much.

This is a lovely Airbnb in a beautiful and peaceful location. The decor inside the Airbnb is brilliant and it makes it a great place for a relaxing weekend. You will need a car as there aren't an shops/restaurants within walking distance but there are plenty of options just a 10/15 min drive away. Only thing we would have preferred is a shower in both of the ensuite bathrooms as we did all have to use the one ensuite for showers as the second room only has a bath (but the bath was lovely!) Hosts were friendly and responsive and we would love to return one day!

Geraldine’s place was perfect. Lovely and cozy bed was super comfy and the village had everything you need. I was actually gutted that I arrived after eating as there seems to be a lot of choice for food with the three pubs in the village. Geraldine is very friendly and unapproachable, not that I needed it but I got the impression that nothing would be too much trouble. I would happily book to stay here again. I would recommend it.

Lovely friendly stay in gorgeous countryside setting. Lots of lovely little touches to make the stay memorable. Beautiful views and fantastic countryside walks with a wonderful pubs stone throw away. Clive couldn't have been more helpful with local recommendations.

Had a fantastic stay, the place was beautiful! It had everything we needed and we would happily stay again. A group of 6 women stayed and we had 3 bathrooms and another toilet so it was perfect for us. Kitchen was fully equipped and place was very clean. We had towels for the hot tub and robes too which was a lovely touch! All the instructions were clear and helpful and we had no problems! Thank you again

We went with friends for New Year. It was perfect for us and a good space to socialise. The barn is well equipped and beautifully decorated. The beds were super comfortable. The icing on the cake was the hot tub it was a perfect temperature and so lovely to relax in.I would highly recommend Louise and Andrew’s barn. A true gem in a pretty village 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Angela was so welcoming when we arrived. After showing us around she left us to settle in and make ourselves at home but let us know that if we needed anything else we could drop her a message. It was such a treat to sit outside in that garden and soak up the the sun but as it's still quite chilly in the evening we were grateful to have the cosy living room to watch a movie in after dark. The local pub does brilliant food and there are some great walking routes in the area. We did a loop to the Horse and Groom in Bourton on the Hill which I can highly recommend. The barn conversion is well equipped, particularly for a long stay if you wish to cook, and the breakfast supplies were greatly appreciated. Angela was friendly and made sure to wish us a safe journey when we departed. Fabulous location, fabulous host!
