Very friedly place. Feels like home. Very flexible hosts. Service both in Finnish and English. Other langages as well but we didn't use them

Erittäin viihtyisä mökki, jossa ei tila lopu kesken: Aikaa voi viettää tilavassa mökissä, verannalla, terassilla, kodalla, pihalla, rannassa, järvellä. Pihasaunalta lyhyt kävely rantaan, joka ei syvyytensä ja tumman vetensä vuoksi sovi pikkulasten uimapaikaksi. Kauniisti sisustettu ja laitettu kokonaisuus, josta ei haluaisi lähteä pois 🙂.

La casa di Hannu è straordinaria: abbiamo avuto a disposizione un intero appartamento, delizioso, curato nei dettagli, pulito, spazioso, con una splendida vista sul lago. La casa si trova a poco più di 10 minuti d'auto da Savonlinna. Hannu è una persona gentilissima e disponibile: ci ha spiegato come utilizzare la sauna, anch'essa a nostra disposizione, e cosa fare nei dintorni. Anche lo spazio esterno è bellissimo: abbiamo fatto il bagno nel lago e ci siamo goduti il grande giardino. Per chi vuole c'è anche una barchetta che si può usare liberamente, e il barbecue. Una bellissima esperienza, una sistemazione con tantissimi servizi e un rapporto qualità prezzo fuori dal comune!

Wir haben uns zu viert sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem Cottage, das eher ein richtiges Haus als ein klassisches finnisches Mökki ist. Wir hatten im Haus und auf dem Gelände sehr viel Platz. Es gibt so viele Möglichkeiten (drinnen und draußen), wo man sich an einen Tisch setzen kann. Am See mit Stegzugang und Leiter lässt es sich auch an heißen Tagen gut aushalten. Das Boot mit dem zugebuchten 15 PS Motor war super für kleine Ausflüge und zum Angeln. Dazu stehen noch ein Kayak und ein Ruderboot zur Verfügung. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war sehr einfach und sehr sehr schnell - toll! Wenn man (vor der Reise und auch vor Ort) Fragen hatte, wurden sie umgehend beantwortet, kleine Probleme sofort gelöst. Das Haus hat eine umfangreiche Grundausstattung, sprich von Toilettenpapier bis Spülmaschinentabs ist wirklich alles da, sogar Grillkohle und Anzünder wurden zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Sauna ist für 2 bis 3 Leute gleichzeitig nutzbar und sehr heiß, wenn man es heiß mag (toller Ofen). Eine Kleinigkeit haben wir dabei aber vermisst. Leider ist das Haus ja nicht direkt am See (ca. 50m) und die Sauna ist im Haus. Daher sind wir nicht nach der Sauna schwimmen gegangen, denn das war dafür einfach etwas zu weit. Eine kleine Sauna-Hütte am See wäre toll, dann wäre das Haus perfekt. Wir können das Haus aber absolut empfehlen und würden gerne wiederkommen.

This is such a special place - we spent five peaceful nights at the cabin enjoying outdoor cooking/meals, cozy rainy mornings, kayak paddles, wildlife, sauna and swimming. It is rustic luxury and we cannot recommend it enough. We thank the hosts for such an amazing experience and sharing their beautiful place.

I stayed with some friends for 1 night, the cottage is cozy and clean, with a fireplace we loved and a big sauna with shower. Although surrounded by other cottages, it's still quiet and private and with a lovely view on the lake Saimaa. Indications were super clear and whenever we need we asked and got replied quickly. We really enjoyed!

Kaisa's cabin near Juva is robust, well designed, and cheerful. It's also very close to the water. The lake is a dream to swim in, we were all alone in the water, and while there are some neighbors on both sides, they are sufficiently far away to feel that the space is private. It was easy to find the place, due to good instructions and clear signs on the roads. And Kaisa is an excellent communicator, spelling out very clearly what makes Finnish summer cabins special (no running water, for example), what to expect, and what to bring along. We enjoyed walking around Juva too. Highly recommended!

Otto's hut is simply spectacular! We spent a wonderful week here! The peace and quiet, the lake, the hot tub, the sauna, the rowing boat, the spacious terrace, the barbecue, the fishing rod and the cosy cabin all helped us to relax wonderfully. Otto is super quick to communicate and very uncomplicated. It was very easy to get drinking water at the main house, for the rest you use the clean lake water. We will be back soon!

Loistavat puitteet ja upea ympäristö. Mikko oli todella ystävällinen ja vastasi kysymyksiin nopeasti. Tulen varmasti uudestaan!

This place was beautiful, serene. It had a big house at the top, than a lunch place with a bbq, than a small house with a sauna, than another small open house with a fireplace and a small dock at the end. There was also a little beach a little way around the road. We stayed with two family's, four adults and four children between 1 and 6 years old. For all of us it was a great place. All in all we had a wonderful time at Pertunmaa, we were however a little surprised at arrival that the house is part of a holiday home park. We didn't really mind, but we would have like to read that more clearly in the description. We didn't really hear or see other occupants. In the description it says five bedrooms, but what isn't clearly specified is that those are divided over two houses. It was fine now, but again: would've been better if it was included in the description.

We just spent a week at Julien’s cottage, surrounded by really beautiful garden and nature. It’s really peaceful there, no neighbors nearby. We were able to enjoy the silence & sounds of nature. Swimming in the lake and sauna were our daily pleasures. There were also sub board, kayak and rowing boat. Sub board got tested 😊. Kitchen is well equipped and we prepared great meals. Barbecue on the terrace was very nice evening activity. Some previous visitor criticized the cottage road, but no worries , we were able to drive there with our Mini Cooper without any troubles. We are very satisfied with our vacation week. Warm thanks Julien, we will definitely come back to your cottage again! We can truly recommend a holiday at Julien’s cottage 🌻.

We spent a great time in the cabin in the perfect location of Saimaa Lake. The hosts are very kind and helpful. the whole experience was just excellent. You do need to get major food and items before you visit the cabin, but you can find most of things you need at the cabin and you do have a small shop (Kmarket) 30 minutes drive. All instructions are given by Uta ahead of time, so no surprises.

Wonderful place to go especially with kids. Sari and her husband Johannes are the kindest hosts you can imagine and it was super nice that they made the effort to come and chat with us just to get to know each other better. You cannot ask for more to make anyone super welcome. We even got a bottle of freshly made juice to take home with us (+some welcome home made blue berry muffins). Never had hosts that made such an effort. They also have so many options to make the best use of the wonderful warm lake such as kayaks and sup boards. The open kitchen may take a moment to get used to but has everything that you need. Luckily we had the place for ourself as I believe it is usually shared. Do not know how that may feel. All in all we had an amazing time not only due to the beautiful location but especially thanks to Sari and Johannes. Dankeschön & Kiitos

Mukava mökki, jossa paljon tilaa. Viihdyimme erittäin hyvin viikon täällä. Suht siisti. Keittiöstä löytyi kaikki tarvittava välineistö (toki mökkimäisesti osa hieman vanhoja). Tynnyrisauna ja palju olivat talvella ihania, ja majoittaja teki meille pyynnöstä valmiiksi myös avannon. Ystävälliset ja avuliaat majoittajat :) Meillä oli omat juomavedet mukana veden makuhaitan takia, mutta ymmärsin että veteenkin olisi tulossa pian parannusta.

We hebben enorm genoten van het prachtige huisje van Sari en haar man. Ze zijn allebei enorm gastvrij en behulpzaam. De locatie, direct aan het meer, is prachtig en in de omgeving valt veel te ontdekken. Ook super dat we, zonder extra kosten, gebruik konden maken van kano’s en SUP board. De, houtgestookte, sauna was ook geweldig. Een onvergetelijke ervaring!

Veka nous a beaucoup aidé à trouver une voiture de location dans sa région car il n’en restait plus à notre arrivée à l’aéroport de Helsinki. Après un court voyage en train, il nous a rejoints et conduits au logement pour nous montrer chaque détail et répondre à toutes nos questions. Son cabanon est un vrai havre de paix et de vivre sans eau courante n’a pas été un problème avec le sauna au bois et le lac juste à côté. La liste de tâches ménagères nous a un peu impressionnés car nous n’y étions pas préparés mais nous pensons avoir pu la respecter et reviendrons volontiers dans ce logement simple mais confortable, accueillant et apaisant. Merci à Veka de garder ce patrimoine intact et de le protéger. Derrière chaque fenêtre nous pouvions admirer un paysage magnifique et reposant. Avec de belles soirées malgré une météo changeante. Les sorties en barque étaient douces bien que peu de poissons pêchés, la baignade aussi. Champignons et myrtilles de saison nous ont fait plaisir souvent.

Perfectly cozy accommodation by the lake with beautiful scenery. The cabin is beautifully designed with quality furnishings, comfy rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a sauna featuring large panoramic windows overlooking the lake. The environment is exceptionally calm and quiet with no neighbors. Johan gave us the exact directions through the forest to the cabin, the nearest supermarket, and even gave us some helpful tips regarding the sauna, which we used almost every day.
