Happy to have shared Mark/Katie’s slice of paradise. Breaking away from the busy city life, felt well rested & relaxed after our holiday. Even our dog enjoyed the quiet feeling, feeling right at home. The house was neat & tidy all amenities as listed. Easy accessible & accommodative. The hosts are friendly & helpful and responded to any questions in a timely manner. Highly recommended for a stress free & relaxing stay!

My family had a wonderful time during our stay, very private and surrounded by a very quiet neighbourhood. Very comfy beds and kitchen was well equipped, we felt right at home the moment we walked in. The outdoor sitting area was AMAZING, great area to chill with a glass overlooking stunning views.Carla was an amazing host and very responsive. Would definitely recommend ✨

The location is perfect for tourists wanting to explore both Rotorua and Hobbiton. Yvonne always responded to my questions kindly and promptly. Our family had a comfortable stay here for four nights.

Amazing location with natural surroundings and great views in a gated community. House is spacious and well equipped. Host is quite proactive and communication was great. We were a group of six looking for quiet and serene base for three nights to explore Rotorua and Lake Taupo area (both about 45-50 mins drive away) and will recommend the place. While restaurants and shopping are a bit of drive away, the views and clam around the place makes a great choice for a relaxing retreat.

A Relaxing and Eco-Friendly Getaway! I had an amazing stay at this property and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing escape. The house is beautifully set up with fantastic amenities, including a private spa and comfortable decking area—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring or just soaking in the peaceful surroundings. The bean bags added an extra touch of comfort, making it easy to lounge and enjoy the outdoor space. One of the highlights was the separate area that offered privacy and tranquility, ideal for a quiet retreat. The host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. A big plus for me was the property's eco-friendly features, such as the solar power and EV charging station. It was great to know we were staying in a place that's both sustainable and modern. Overall, this is a perfect spot for a relaxing and environmentally conscious vacation. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This cabin was perfect, it was what we were looking for when traveling through North Island - quiet, peaceful, nature! The wood fired hot tub was perfect to watch the stars at night.

Very beautiful location. A rustic but super comfortable space. The bed was brilliant and the house was lovely and warm, especially with the fire going! The fire heated outdoor bath was sensational and we loved relaxing down by river edge. We’ll be back!

Such a fabulous little hide away. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get in touch with nature and have a break from the city - the cabin was quaint and cosy!

We had a lovely stay at Blue Springs. We had friendly and clear communication from Gary & Stacy and a seamless check in experience. I appreciated the level of thought that went into it (such as providing a car to get down to the cabin if we needed). The cabin is incredibly cool and cosy with beautiful scenery, we will definitely book it again in the future.
