Overall, everything about the accommodation was a pleasant surprise. Cleanliness, communication, and charm were all as good as it gets, and Joyce was a delightful host. Staying in a boat along with the time spent exploring the canal on foot really made the trip. Thanks!

We had a lovely weekend on Calypso to celebrate a birthday and attend the Boat Show. Poole harbour is beautiful and there is all you need ( Tesco, restaurants etc) within a few mins walk of the boat. The boat is large and we were very warm and comfortable. Certainly a different experience for us.

I can honestly say that our weekend onboard Sea-E-O was one of the best we’ve ever had. The yatch was fantastic and situated perfectly in the marina for peace and quiet. The weather was superb all weekend so we were able to make good use of the top deck. The marina is situated very close to the shops and many other features of beautiful Lymington. Melissa the host was very responsive with any messages or queries. We shall def return!!

Très joli bateau aussi bien à l'extérieur qu'à l'intérieur, idéalement amarré à proximité immédiate des commodités essentielles et d'un parking gratuit. il est très confortable et bien équipé, rien ne nous a manqué. Rose est une hôtesse particulièrement charmante, très accueillante et pleine d'attentions. Ses propos, riches de l'histoire locale dont familiale en cohérence avec la décoration et les documents qu'elle nous laisse à disposition sont une excellente introduction à la découverte de Cherbourg et des environs. Pour conclure : tout était parfait et conforme à sa description !

Ok, so let me write an honest review. I’m Not sure what people are moaning about but here goes… We have travelled across the world and stayed in many different quirky locations but this was one of my top five! I’m boat mad and have always wanted to own a yacht but unless I win the lottery… this is the closest I’ll ever get. The yacht was clean and tidy, it’s 60 years old!! It’s not new. The bed was massive and extremely comfy. I haven’t slept that well in years. The kitchen was not the same as at home because, you aren’t at home! The toilets were in perfect working order. Anyone who knows boats knows how to use them efficiently. The Hot tub was the highlight. I spent almost my entire stay in there! It’s private and peaceful. I personally didn’t want to get out ever! The TV has all the latest apps like Netflix. The heating was adequate but we did leave it on all the time as it is March! I would definately stay again, they were lucky I didn’t move in! Thank you for a great stay x

A stone's throw from the Princess Theatre. Lots of restaurants/ bars within easy walking distance. Marina facilities very good. Hosts friendly with good local knowledge/ recommendations.

Hi all. I share my impressions about the yacht: we were with friends for 2 days on the yacht. Very clean, has everything you need to stay, the owner is very friendly. To meet the dawn on the pier is a special pleasure. Will definitely come back and recommend to everyone

We stayed on the Gin Odyssey for the bank holiday weekend. Ric, the owner and host could not have been more accommodating. Clear instructions before arrival, all the information we needed for our break, wifi passwords, local recommendations he could not have been more helpful. The boat is located in a really good location, next to beach for fishing and crabbing and a 10minute walk from the harbour and restaurants. As a family of 5 with one younger child there was plenty for everyone. Highly recommended to anyone wanting something a bit different.

We stayed here over the weekend of 17 August. The communication with the host was excellent. We arranged a time to meet and Steve met us at the marina, showed us how to access the marina, shower and toilet facilities and the boat. The marina is such a lovely setting. There were five of us and two small dogs. There was plenty of room for us all. We were very placed for the beach, restaurants and bars. It’s also very close to the theatre. We mostly used the shower and toilets at the marina, but there is a shower and toilet onboard. There was clean bedding, kettle, single hob stove, cutlery, pans and utensils. We all had a great time and would definitely stay again

Matthews pirate ship is a wonderful, cosy gem and a fantastic experience. what a great opportunity to stay on the antique and unique Meander. There is everything anyone could need perfectly arranged in the space and the home baked croissants on arrival were a lovely touch. The bed linen and towels were spotless and beautifully made up too. Watching the sunset over the marina in the evening was a fantastic experience. Use of the wonderful huge showers and private bathrooms in the marina are included in the price, honestly, its a bargain!

Claude was lovely and very welcoming. Helped us clearly with what to do and where to go. Was very friendly and the boat was so nice to stay on. we really had a great time and hope to stay again soon

Excellent séjour sur le voilier de Thibaut. C’est un voilier qui a son petit charme et qui est très confortable. De plus avec le couché de soleil et le lever de soleil c’est vraiment une chance d’avoir pu admirer cette vue ! Thibaut est également une personne très disponible et à l’écoute. Je reviendrai avec grand plaisir :)

Such a unique experience, make sure you read the description carefully but if the boat stay experience works for you there is no better spot than this!

Had a lovely stay on Martyn’s boat. Peaceful setting with nice walks along the towpath. It’s compact & no frills, but everything you need is there and the log burner warms it up super quick. Makes it very cosy.

Our stay at the Blackbird Boat was wonderful. It’s such a unique way to spend time in a truly beautiful and peaceful place. We stayed over a few drizzly days but the boat was really cosy with the sound of rain and the bath house was such a treat - watching the sun set over the lake whilst soaking in the tub was the epitome of luxury! The kitchen was really well appointed for cooking our own meals and everything was comfy and clean. There are some beautiful locations for walking all within a reasonable driving distance as well as some nice towns nearby for day trips or meals out. Highly recommend!

It was a really great night with amazing view in the morning and it was really fun. We had a good time together. If you have time to go there don’t miss it.
