Lovely, peaceful area with great walks and beaches within short distance. A charming place to stay for a couple and a dog. Jo was very friendly and gave us tips about best beaches and walks. Great way to disconnect from your day-to-day life and relax.

We had such a lovely time at the shepherds hut, a perfectly peaceful and quiet get away - just what we needed! Great location for picturesque walks. We walked along Offas Dyke took 2.5 hrs straight from the hut. The local town had everything you needed only a short drive or 20 min walk away. We grabbed a takeaway pizza from Daphnes which was very delicious. Despite wet weather all weekend it did not dampen our spirits. The covered kitchen was a perfect location to cosy up and watch the thunder and lightning. It had everything you needed to make breakfast. The provided bread, bacon, eggs & milk were a lovely addition. The bed was very very comfy and the hut was clean, tidy & cosy. The hill up to the hut is steep but the provided wheelbarrow helped. Leaving in the rain was hilarious.

A great place to stay as we were visiting the Royal Welsh Showground at Builth Wells. The accommodation was extremely clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.

Beautiful bespoke shepards hut. Very comfortable with everything you might need. Stunning location within easy reach of Beautiful seaside towns. Lovely personal touches like tea coffee, organic milk and a freshly made cake. Thank you very much

This was our third stay at Paul’s shepherds hut. It’s the lost wonderful escape! If you’re craving an escape with tranquility, peace and quiet, then this is the place for you. At night all you can hear is the gentle tinkle of the stream and the hooting of owls. In the morning, if you head outside, dawn chorus is amazing. Our dog absolutely loves it here too. He has so much secure space to roam he is so happy exploring. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Lovely and. Cosy, clean and peaceful. We had a lovely time . Running late on arrival and host going out at 6:15pm, so this did panic me as I was afraid we would have to sleep in the car all night. Only airbnb I’ve gone to that doesn’t allow a lock box or anytime check in. That aside had a lovely time and the bacon and sausages were a real treat . Thank you

We had a great stay, was relaxing and a great location for walks, sightseeing etc. Mandy and Andy both very friendly and helpful. Would recommend booking ahead for any local pubs/restaurants as they are few and far between within a 10-20 min drive and busy at weekends/peak times, also bring a 12v charger for charging within the hut otherwise there are 3 point plugs 100m across the yard which can be used.

What can I say?! Firstly, the accommodation and amenities were absolutely amazing. Welcoming, homely and beautifully presented. We fell in love with Mables the charming little wagon. Although, admittedly, November probably isn't the greatest time to have a outdoorsy escape especially as Storm Bert was making an appearance, we had such a fantastic time. The hot tub was a welcome addition and relaxing with a bottle of wine while the stresses of every day life were soaked away was just what was needed. Martin and CarolAnne were incredibly kind and the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and they were on hand whenever we needed them but equally respectful to our privacy. We can't thank you enough for our stay and we'll hopefully be back soon with the kiddies in the Treehouse! Fingers crossed for better weather next time!

I don't think mine and my partners stay here will be beatable by anything we book for ourselves in the future. We're already planning our next visit. 10/10 all the way through. We absolutely loved our hosts and our Shepherds hut. Beautiful, peaceful, relaxing, just perfect.

Absolutely beautiful so peaceful and shepherds hut was gorgeous only thing I would say is a shelf in bathroom to put your bits would be ideal and maybe a hook in bathroom to hang clothes/towel But we loved it and will definitely go back and recommend Julie is so lovely and friendly honestly perfect The sun pub just up the road is lovely and very welcoming Highly recommend The Shaggy Sheep hut thank you

Lovely stay, our children loved it and everything was very well described in the advert. Directions were great and we found it easily. Only thing that would make it even better would be not having to bring our own bedding but this did not put us off and we had the most amazing stay. Thank you Sian. Would recommend to everyone.

my husband and I had a wonder 3 night stay in the shepherd hut. we arrived at 4pm and the hut and hot tub was already warm. the underfloor heating was amazing touch, and the hot tub was fantastic. extremely private and so quiet. Brian's instructions on getting there are very helpful and we used what 3 words. we had a bit of difficulty using the gas bbq, however Brian swiftly came to the rescue to show use how to use it. would definitely visit again. thank you both for a very relaxed break.

A unique stay in the shepherds hut with beautiful surroundings. Had all the facilities needed for a long weekend, and extra luxury with the hot tub.

We enjoyed a beautiful night stay here after a walk in the Brecon Beacons and a trip to the beach. The hut was perfect for a cosy evening and Alison could not have been more helpful, providing logs for a fire and a welcome hamper on arrival. We loved having Daisy the goat as our neighbour and spent a great evening by the fire watching the lambs. We will definitely be back!

This place was just gorgeous. The field was so peaceful and beautiful, the fire pit was lovely and the cabin was so cosy. There were lots of lovely little touches and the bed was so comfy. There was plenty of wood to use and useful items like salt and milk. Great kitchen for cooking and our dog loved it. Thank you for a wonderful stay Maria.

What can I say. Place is beautiful! It was our 1st year wedding anniversary and after the place we booked cancelled, we found this and we are so glad we did! Hot Tub was amazing under the stars, and the hut was stunning! Clean, tidy and spacious! Made our anniversary perfect! Thank you to the Host for being amazing!

What a stunning hut with beautiful views! The farm is breath taking! The hut has everything you need and the bed is super cozy. Their info book with the walking trails around the area was super helpful if you don't know where to start. As well as nearby cafes, restaurants and shops. It was lovely to have an enclosed area for our pooch Ripley to have a wonder and explore as well. We can thank Laura enough for a perfect get away! Would highly recommend for someone who needs a getaway and a mental reset. From Leoni, Matthew and Ripley 🐶

My partner and I (and our dog!) spent the Easter long weekend in this beautiful shepherds hut located on the canal! It was absolutely perfect. The hut was equipped with everything we needed. There were so many beautiful sights and hikes we could visit from the hut, not to mention the Osprey that had just nested nearby! The yard was perfect for our dog as it’s all fenced in and had plenty of room for him to roam. Bathrooms were spotless with amazing water pressure. We highly recommend the three Horsehoes Inn, which is just a short drive away and had amazing food and atmosphere. We couldn’t recommend this shepherds hut anymore! Big thank you to Emma who was super responsive and wonderful. We can’t wait to come back ☺️

Idyllic spot in rural Somerset with great views from the side of the hill of a working farm. Cows and sheep grazing in adjacent fields and wonderful view across the valley. An absolutely adorable place to launch into Exmoor from. The hut is exactly as described (and hoped for), warm and comfy even in depths of Feb. The few comms from Alexis were only necessary ones and of great help. Wellies and torch necessities to be embraced in this farming and dark sky location. Bittescombe Inn 10 mins drive away did great food. Return? Absolutely!

I booked very last minute due to a change in plans and needing somewhere the same night! Joshua was really quick to respond and the hut was ready within the hour. It was beautiful and the surroundings are so peaceful. The hot tub was so lovely and Joshua helpfully provided some instructions for this. There was the added bonus of a bottle of Prosecco left for me. The meadow where the huts are is lovely to wander around, particularly if you go with your dog. Overall a lovely stay and would recommend for anyone wanting to get away and have some rest, peace and quiet.

I had a lovely stay at Pippins, Jill was so lovely and accommodated me bringing my daughter last minute without any issues. She was friendly chatty and helpful, when I accidentally turned off the hot water and didn't know what I had done. I would love to come back to stay again. Great host, Great Location and a Great place.

What a wonderful place! The hut is well built and beautiful decorated. The area is great, very private and gorgeous views. If you love walking there lots of places you can go off from the door steps. Pub with good ale just half a mile away. we didn't stay up to see stars but I'm sure it would be impressive. I hope we will have a chance to go back again 😊
