Having just moved to the UK for work, Mark's place was our temporary home for a week whilst we scoped out Sheffield and the surrounding areas. Mark welcomed us at the door smiling and was kind enough to have left a pizza as well as wine and cookies for us in the fridge which was very thoughtful as we were tired after our long drive. He was also very responsive whenever we had questions. The house itself was very clean, inviting, and had all the necessities. Its location is ideal for anyone wishing to be in the heart of Sheffield as its close to the city centre and just a stones throw away from the Peak District. We were a bit worried about the parking situation on the street but we never really had an issue finding a spot. The park directly opposite the house is perfect for anyone travelling with dogs and provides a nice view from the bedroom.

We had a short stay at Steve's place and pretty much had the place to ourselves. We needed a place near Bole Hill Park, so the location was perfect. We also needed to check in a bit earlier than stated, and Steve was very accommodating for us, which we appreciated so much! Really responsive and clear communication. Had no issues checking in, it was very easy. Would definitely recommend!

John was a great host during my 2-month stay - very helpful and always anticipate my needs such as preparing hot water bottle, showing me around the kitchen & toilet, teaching me how to use the laundry and many more! He has been very patient with my little jumpy behavior (I get scared easily if someone is near me) and he was very considerate every time he walked in to the kitchen to avoid scaring me. We had great chats over random topics from spiritual beliefs, work/career and life! John even brought me to Burns Night celebration by his friend which was super fun! He also gave me a lot of advice about navigating Sheffield and introducing me to various cities in the UK for my travels. The room was squeaky clean and pretty, exactly like the pictures! It is easily walkable from the universities and city centre within 10-30 minutes depending where you want to go, and it feels very safe at night walking alone myself. Overall a great stay and I'd love to stay with John again if I visit!

Had a lovely stay at Steves home and felt at home straight away. Perfect base to explore the city for a weekend, only a short half an hour walk from the city centre. Would stay again for sure.

Mike's place is amazingly relaxing, his home is certainly the home from home we were looking for with everything you need and more. Mike's attention to detail is outstanding, he was accommodating and communicative around our early check in and any information he thought we may need before checking in.

We chose this accommodation due to its closeness to the English Institute of Sport as was attending an event there over the weekend. Place was as described and would be more than happy to stay there again. Jake was very responsive to any queries that we had.

Exactly what we needed for a quick stop over. Everything there that we needed but couldn’t get the coffee machine to work - could have been user error though!

Scott’s place was beautiful and very cosy! It was perfect for the 2 of us and our dog. Would definitely recommend for an overnight or weekend stay for sure!

Great house to stay in. Spacious and very very clean. We had everything we needed here. Parking in the street with a permit provided by Ann was so easy - its a big help when you can get easy parking outside the house. Ann was easy to contact and deal with and very friendly. Highly recommend and would gladly stay again.

This was our 3rd stay while working over in Sheffield. The place is absolutely great and will keep staying here in the future when working there. I cannot recommend this place enough, the hosts are really friendly and there are great amenities nearby.

The overall environment is very nice, the house is clean and warm, and there are very beautiful gardens and lovely cats
