An adorable little slice of heaven just outside of town. I visited with my young family (myself, my wife, and our two boys age 5 and 1.5) and we had a blast. Lots of toys and activities inside, plenty of space to roam on the property, and access to lots of fun activities in the Twin Cities area. Melissa is highly responsive and our stay went off without a hitch. 5 stars!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home was exactly as pictured and very comfortable. Our boys loved the upstairs room with the two twin beds (although if they were smaller I might have worried about them on the stairs, as there is no railing for the last several steps). We loved the cozy fireplace and the hot tub, and enjoyed not having to use our car at all once we arrived— plenty to see and do in walking distance, including a nice park for the dog and kids. Andy was super easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The home is perfectly situated with easy access to snowboarding and the Bay Area. We hope to stay there again!

We had such a beautiful stay. Great home for our large family. Our dogs were welcome to the house as well. The back balcony was closed off making it easy for my dogs and kids to hang out without worrying they are going to take off. The kitchen was big and had everything we needed. I loved how isolated and peaceful the home was. There are no street lights in the area, it gets very dark. We loved it because we were able to see the stars. The creek was a short was down the path, easy to get to. We will definitely plan another visit.

The Wild Fern House provided a beautiful and peaceful getaway for our family with everyone having space for themselves. The kitchen was well stocked, living space just as pictured, beds comfy and warm, bathrooms spotless, sparkling hot tub, and great visibility for stargazing. The house is also in a great location, close to amazing hiking trails, swimming spots (if you visit in summer/fall), archery club, markets, etc. We truly enjoyed our stay and all the small details, like the welcome note, essential oil diffuser, having the hot tub hot and ready on arrival, etc. We hope to visit again soon, thank you!

One of my favorite recent AirBnBs - my friend and I have stayed here twice now and already booked another visit over the summer. The kitchen/living room/porch set up are so conducive to entertaining a group. Spice and toiletry collection are top notch. The fireplace is so cozy. Rave reviews from us!

The house is huge (bigger than the photos represent) and great for big groups! 6 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms is fantastic for multiple families. BR2-4 have queen beds, BR5's sofa is a sofa bed. BR6 is a huge bedroom with couches, a big TV, and a king bed (from the photos I guessed BR6 would be some converted open loft area, but it has its own door and the windows all have pulldown shades for a proper bedroom). The first floor has BR5 and 1.5 baths and the kitchen/living areas. The second floor has five bedrooms, 2 full baths, and BR3 master has its own additional full bath. There's a long loop driveway that can fit many cars, but be careful if there's snow on the steep sections. We stayed here to go to Soda Springs and Boreal for skiing (a little over a half hour away). The downstairs and upstairs have separate Nest thermostats for HVAC control. The house is great value (compared to places in Tahoe proper). The host is very responsive. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay. The pool and hot tub were amazing. There was plenty of room for all of us. The pots and pans were a really nice brand.

Stayed here with a group of friends - lots of beds so we each got our own, which is rare. The house was well stocked - kitchen, towels, etc. We enjoyed using the indoor/grotto hot tub. Cute shops & restaurants in the area (15-20ish mins). Thanks for a great stay!

Our organization recently held our semi-annual retreat at Clayton’s Place in Glass Valley, and we couldn’t be more thankful for the serene environment and incredible accommodations. Every single one of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. While it’s worth noting that there are only two showers available, the overall experience far outweighed this minor detail. The property is a gem, featuring amazing amenities such as a hot tub, pool, barbeque, and a variety of games thoughtfully provided by Clayton. The karaoke machine was a hit, and the private property’s peacefulness made it easy for us to connect as a group. The easy access to hiking trails and nature further enriched our experience. Clayton’s Place was perfect for our needs and offered the ideal balance of comfort, fun, and tranquility. We wholeheartedly agree that this is one of the best options for group getaways, and we look forward to staying here again!

Very clean and all the sheets and towels still smelled like detergent. They had new appliances and the hot tub was on and ready to use. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend.

What a stunning space! We really enjoyed our stay in the Hart House. It was beautiful inside and out. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Our stay at Hollie's was awesome! The property is beautiful and so peaceful. We had fun fishing in the pond with our grandkids. The house is very nice. The view from the master bedroom is amazing actually the view from all the windows is beautiful. The bed was super comfortable. We loved gathering on the deck in the evening and the hot tub was very relaxing. Rob and Hollie are great hosts, they went out of there way to be very accommodating. The only downside was we couldn't stay longer. I would highly recommend Hollie's place.

The hosts were amazing! Cabin was as shown in the pictures and while we had some issues arise, a quick text to our host and they were on a call with the assistance we needed or with a solution. I appreciate the super quick responses and the overall cleanliness of the cabin was great! The price is a great value. We will be back in the summer! :))

The two houses were perfect for a large family getaway. The kitchens were the most stocked I've ever seen in an airbnb with great supplies and cooking equipment. The hot tub is brand new and amazing and all of the beds were comfortable and clean.

Emily’s place is a magical hillside home offering clean water creek access and great privacy. Rooms are spacious and the outdoor park is great for bigger groups and families. Our small 4 people’s group felt like in a mansion. Super tall redwoods and pines surround the house giving the feeling of living in a tree house. We hope to come back in the summer!

The stay was quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view of the pond. The cabin stayed very warm and the showers water temp was on point. We didn’t use the hot tube but it did look off to the pond which was special. The loft bed was not as comfy as the downstairs bed, but that was no big deal. Overall nice stay with nice amenities.

My friends and I had a nice and short weekend getaway here. It is a very cool place and definitely would recommend it for others, especially larger groups. A few things to note for other guests: - The disconnected downstairs bedroom is a bit awkward at first but if you have a small group that would benefit from away time, this is perfect! Light sleepers or early bedtime folks. - There is a canal trail next to the house, check it out! A few things to note for the host: - There's a partly busted outlet in the garage (left side) - No switch in the mudroom is a bit awkward, consider a motion sensor light in there.

We appreciate the opportunity to stay at your cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and found the location very convenient for accessing Sugar Bowl. You and your team are quick to respond to any messages or calls. The kids had a lot of fun playing upstairs while the adults enjoyed conversations downstairs. The cabin is very clean and was warm upon entering. We will defiantly stay here again. Thank you for the snacks.

Very cozy place, perfect place to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet for a few days. Internet was a little slow, but it was still good enough for remote work (we didn't try turning video on for our meetings though). We would love to come back here, the hot tub and wood burning stove were great. Chadi was very quick to respond to any questions.

This was such a charming little slice of heaven tucked away in the pines of Nevada city. We had the best time here, it was so cozy and every room was so beautiful. A few of my friends and sister both said they wanted to move in haha. Also loved the yurt that was near the main house, it is absolutely beautifully done and the cute bathroom near by was adorable. There decor around the whole house had us in love, we are big fans of mushrooms and we loved all the little trinkets and mushroom things. Also we loved that it had no tv, just a radio, that way we could just put some music on and just enjoyed each other’s company with no screens. It was a great bonding experience and we will definitely be back to this home away from home. Thank you to the most friendly and attentive hosts, you both made it very easy to stay and helped with all questions. What a pleasure it was to stay in your home.

Our family of two adults and one teenager stayed at The Antler for four nights around New Year's Eve and really enjoyed being cozy at the cabin and using the hot tub. We loved being able to take a short walk to the many shops and restaurants in downtown Nevada City. We also hiked and enjoyed the nature along the South Yuba River and took a quick (one-hour) drive up to go snowshoeing and x-country skiing at Royal Gorge.
