This is a lovely and comfortable house. The host is extremely generous. We very much enjoyed are stay and are trying to return as soon as possible.

Liked the house. The kitchen is well stocked. The bathroom layout is a little unusual. Both bathrooms are adjoining to each other so you need to make sure the door between them is locked. Great responsive host.

I often look at places where I can work from, but feel in the middle of nowhere. this place was perfect for that. The grounds were gorgeous. The area was very quiet and peaceful. The house is way more than the pictures do justice. I had no issues with this property at all and several friends are now wanting to come there after I showed them where we were staying

Great location for exploring Grass Valley, easy walking distance to restaurants, theaters, and downtown. Very nice inside remodel, great place to relax and enjoy friends.

This was a great place to stay. Karl was very proactive in communicating with us prior to our stay and checked in with us over the course of our stay to ensure everything was ok. The kitchen was thoughtfully equipped which allowed us to cook a dinner for family we were visiting. Would stay again.

Rocky was such an amazing host!! The home is on beautiful property plenty of space for my dogs to run and play fully fenced in property! I would definitely recommended this home for anyone who is considering the area Collin’s lake is very close and all the small town stores and restaurants were great and close by ! Thank you rocky for having your home available for our stay!!

Asha's place is truly magical! The land is special and rejuvenating and she has clearly put a lot of work into cultivating it. I loved the gardens, the house and being in the forest. Very clean and comfortable. Feels like you are in the woods, but still very close to town. Could even see snow capped mountains!!! Asha is an awesome host and I highly recommend staying here.

Erin and Chance were excellent hosts and their cabin was one of my favorite stays of all time. So serene and gorgeous. The cabin itself was decorated very well and had that cozy cabin charm. The surrounding area was gorgeous! I loved walking to the nearby lake through the forest. Lastly, the bathtub on the porch was everything. If you need a peaceful escape, this is the place to be.

Beautiful, yet very affordable, mountain retreat. Amazing large area for our pupper to run around and explore in. Hot tub was amazing. Definitely a steal for the price!

The yard was the real gem for us— hours of outdoor play right outside the door. We arrived to fresh snow and got more! It is as magical as it gets for beauty and fun playing outdoors. Inside the cabin, the kitchen is clean and spacious so’s easy to cook in. The collection of dvds was fun for parents and kids to relax. This is a perfect quiet getaway retreat! We will repeat!

We had 3 couples from our family and 6 children, ranging from 2 to 11. There was plenty of room for all and we had a great visit. The kids loved the pool. The adults liked it also. This home is up to date and we'll equipped. We would definitely come here again. The host was extremely helpful and great to work with.

Had a wonderful stay at Tiffany’s. We were looking somewhere quiet as a base camp for activities in the area. Her studio was comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. Her dog was also really friendly.

In most things, getting the details right, is difficult. Sarah knocked it out of the park. This place is so thoughtfully put together. From the well appointed kitchen, to the great bedding, and the clear instructions, this place was so welcoming and comfortable. The location is very private and peaceful. We enjoyed using this place as a base to do daily excursions to some great snowy places for snowshoeing. We said, multiple times this weekend to each other, “I love this place and we should come back here soon!”.

Lovely spot, perfect for the "cozy cabin weekend" my family craved. The cabin has many LARGE windows that look out into the trees, lots to amuse one on the property, and great nearby hiking if you're looking to get out. It was spotlessly clean. If you visit at a chilly time of year I would recommend bringing slippers--the cabin heats up well and quickly, but the tile floor stayed cold :)

I loved staying at Jenny's place! It was so nice to have just a little area to myself for a few days while I enjoyed California. If I ever find myself in town again, I'll be sure to see if it's available!

Bruce and Katie’s guesthouse was absolutely stunning, along with their property. They provided more than the basic necessities, perfect for a home away from home. We stayed for just about two weeks… the interior featured wonderful historic artwork of Nevada County which was an awesome feature to see, up to date appliances in the kitchen (good selection of seasonings…and snacks ;) ), great sized TV in the living room & bedroom, and good size bed and sofa sleeper (which was actually extremely comfy), great condition older style furniture filling the rest of the house, with beautiful forest surroundings just a few minutes from town, this is a great retreat away from the norm. We had 2 small dogs with us, and they also loved it! If you fear dog/s barking from you across a fence, this would be the only down-turn from wanting to stay here, personally we had no issues with Jedi keeping his property secure, just maintain a distance as you would, and he will too :) Thank you Bruce &

Donna was super responsive and helpful and the place was incredibly comfortable, clean, well stocked and beautiful. I would 100% stay here again. It has everything you need and is so peaceful and quiet but close to town!

The cows were so welcoming! They were there when we arrived. They loved the cow cookies that Nicholas provided to be given to them. We are a family of three, my husband and myself and our lab Rose. We enjoyed our stay at Nicholas and Rebecca’s home. The property is beautiful and the home is just as pictured. The artwork around the home is lovely. The surroundings peaceful. We had a nice stay. Nicholas made some great recommendations for dining and places to hike with our dog. He’s a good communicator. Thank you!

Very lovely stay, my whole family (husband, brother, baby, and dog) all felt right at home and had a very fun and relaxing time. I think my dog would move there if she could - she loved the dog bed, I've hardly ever seen her so relaxed! There was also a big round chair that had a similar effect for us humans. We were able to make a very nice evening meal in the kitchenette as well as breakfasts - the one thing I would say is that if I went back, I would bring my own knives as the cooking knives were quite dull.
