Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house has a wonderful layout… allowed for our family to have good quality time together, but also have our own soace. Wonderful that each bedroom had their own bathroom and each room was beautiful! We loved the outside area- the pool and kayaks made for such fun and good memories. Thank you Darren, we are hoping to come back soon 🙂

Eine kleine Oase ist dieses schön gestaltete Cottage. Hier kann man sich nur wohlfühlen. Alles ist sehr großzügig und offen gestaltet. Vor dem großen Wohnbereich mit Küche und Esstisch war eine große Terrasse mit mehreren Sitzgelegenheiten und daran anschließend eine Rasenfläche mit einem Pool, welche sich bis zu einem Fluss hin erstreckte. Hier hatte man auch die Möglichkeit, ein Kanu zu nutzen. Ein Schlafzimmer hatte ein integriertes Badezimmer, das zweite Schlafzimmer ein separates Bad. Neu installierte Klimaanlagen in den Schlafzimmern rundeten das Ganze ab. Sophia hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und hat auch eine Safari für uns gebucht, welche ganz fantastisch war. Wir würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen.

Grandiose Aussicht auf das Meer und wir konnten immer wieder mal Wale und Delfine beobachten. Vom Haus gibt es einen direkten Zugang zum Cliff Path, auf dem man kilometerweit joggen oder zum nahe gelegenen Nature Reserve wandern kann. Wenn es für die meerseitige Terrasse mal zu stürmisch ist, gibt es noch einen geschützten Wintergarten mit Grillplatz. Das Haus ist auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt sehr gut ausgestattet und durch einen Sicherheitsdienst alarmgesichert.

Just the most lovely welcoming spot. The guard “Recent” settled us nicely and my husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this leisurely spot on leisure island.

The location is great, less than 5 min walk to the bushman's river mouth and just up the road is the main street with restaurant and padel courts. The house was well equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The table tennis was a big hit with my boys! Raoul was a great host. Thanks again!

We were a group of 5 and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ferrybridge House. The setting is beautiful overlooking the river and mountains as was the incredible birdlife while enjoying our morning coffee. The house is spotless, secure and has everything one needs. Stanford village is charming, we walked along the river and had an exceptional supper at Rivergate farm as per your recommendation. we will definitely be back

beautiful house on the banks of the river. comfortable even for a big family. spacious ,with modern finishes. loved the canoeing kids loved the nearby beach approx 1.2km from the house as well. nearest good shop is in port alfred though we didn't need anything in our 3 days . time went so fast wish we could start it all again lol.

We planned a riverside getaway with some friends and a boat. House has a lovely deck overlooking the river and floating jetty- we spend many hours there. The house itself is really well suited for a family. It has ample outdoor furniture and deck space to enjoy. The Nespresso machine was a treat. The area is safe and quiet, neighbours are close, but never felt intrusive. The house has access to a well kept slipway- launching a smallish boat with a 4x4 was pretty straight forward. Reaching the house with a 2x4 is possible, but would recommend using a 4x4.

This is a gem of a place. Sylvy is the best hoast ever whent out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The view is amazing and spending hours un the Kayak fishing was amazing. All the litle extras is amazing fresh farm milk eggs veg it was so special. We will see you soon

Absolutely perfect ! very comfortable clean a generous little welcoming extras. Private and quiet. If you happened to be buying a property you have landed in the right stop ! You will be assisted by the owner who knows everything you need to know and find you your happy home ! Excellent!

All I say is Wow. Karee Kloof is an absolute alive of heaven that is available on earth. The surroundings are majestic, the silence deafening and the stars at night will leave your breathless. keeping with the experience is the most gracious hosting by Uncle Steve, Melanie and her beautiful family who treated us to the most amazing game drive. We can recommend Karee Kloof to anyone who is looking to leave behind the hustle and bustle of the city and who are looking to immerse themselves in peace, quiet and splendor. we already booking our next holiday at the farm!

Beautiful farm cottage, very clean and peaceful. The Midlands have great things to offer and to do. Most definitely going back soon!!

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. The beds were super comfortable and everything was clean. There were annoying animal noises at night coming from the roof of the one bedroom. We assumed there might be a bat nest on the roof as we did see a bat in the house. Other than this and one or two electrical plugs that intermittently worked. Our stay was very pleasant.

The house was perfect for our holiday. The fenced garden was so nice for our toddler and dog so we didn't have to worry about the water. A real highlight was swimming in the river. The big veranda was lovely for lazy afternoons and braaing. The beds are very comfortable and lovely linen and towels. The kitchen has everything you need. Best if all you feel as if you are in the middle of nowhere but there are shops and restaurants close by.

Tasha was super responsive and nice! The hut carries such a lovely vibe. The hot tub is fantastic for colder nights outside. we loved every detail of the premises!

This surpassed our expectations. It's a very tranquil and beautiful spot; the river by the collage is stunning, and the host was extremely helpful when we got trapped in the mud. Whatever you do, stay a day longer. You will regret not staying longer.

Tolles Haus direkt am See. Genialer Blick auf den See und super Betten. Leider waren wir nur auf Durchreise. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben und vermissen die Unterkunft jetzt schon.

We had the most lovely stay at Lalapanzi, the cabin exceeded our expectations and the surroundings and views were so beautiful and tranquil! We will definitely be back soon. Thank you to the hosts for your hospitality!

All I can say after staying here is wow! Everything has been so thought out. The place was immaculate and any additional extras were there on site if needed. We enjoyed a paddle while watching the rhino graze nearby. Will be recommending it in the future for friends to stay at for sure!

Michelle was truly a wonderful host. Incredibly accommodating, personable and eager to help with everything from local recommendations to helping me out with some laundry! The lodge itself was like something out of a magazine. Spectacular views out over the forest, to the lake and then the sea beyond. All the mod-cons and supplies provided. (Ashamed to say I polished off the whole box of nougat cookies). The highlight was getting visited by a family of beautiful loeries each day.

We had a great time at this amazing venue. The nature and birdlife surrounding the coffee cabin made it feel super peaceful and relaxing. Just a short distance from the beach with an amazing view of the river. Would highly recommend this accommodation for a relaxing getaway.
