We had the best weekend getaway here! The home was beautifully decorated, spotless, and had very new appliances & bathrooms. There were so many thoughtful touches from night lights to prepared firewood/kindling, and the patio was perfect for al fresco dining. Kristina was incredibly responsive and so kind in her communication! It was very clear that she cared about us having a good experience. We’d love to come back.

The treehouse was perfect for our girls' getaway! John is a very sweet & thoughtful host who made us feel so welcome, greeted us upon arrival, and helped bring our bags upstairs. The unit is comfortable for two people. It has all of the kitchen supplies needed for preparing light meals/snacks or a picnic to take elsewhere (as we did...to a local winery). While there are other units on the property, we did not see or hear anyone during our stay. Super quiet! Linens and bath towels are high quality (which I appreciate!), there were plenty of extra blankets/comforter (helpful to place some on top of the futon bed to maximize comfort). I recommend bringing your own toiletries. Was the place immaculate? No, but neither is my own home. Is it a bit quirky in terms of how it was built to fit the unique space it's in? Yes. Would I stay here again? Absolutely! It was awesome. Thank you, John, for your wonderful hospitality! We will be back!

Staying at the treehouse was a blast! I was shocked at how clean everything was, there's a certain level of "outdoors" that I was prepared for but everything was so pristine despite that. My kids couldn't get enough of the slide, and are still having about how fun their stay wise. Dan was a great host, made check very easy and was easy to talk to when we had a question. Would definitely do it again!!

We had a wonderful time at the Treehouse! This is a magical, serene place to get away from the hustle and bustle of busy life. We loved the hot tub on the property, the beds were all super comfortable and everything you might be in need of when staying at an Airbnb was there- even toys and games for my kids! There is an amazing coffee maker that we looked forward to using each morning. It is a great location, and close to town. Idyllwild has so many cute shops and restaurants. Charles was a very responsive, friendly, helpful host. One of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. We didn’t want to leave!

Had an absolutely lovely stay! Beautiful house, serene environment, amazing hot tub! Host was super communicative and friendly! Was also incredibly helpful in organizing to ship back items left behind after stay. Would definitely stay again.

A gem right near Bear mountain, cozy place with great balcony views and awesome touches in the home I would highly recommend this place to anyone or large family coming up to big bear.

The house truly surpassed all of our expectations! Exceptionally clean with an abundance of linens and clean towels to fulfill our stay. A very homey feel full of all the amenities we needed. The hosts were truly hospitable, responsive, and proactive to let us know things (weather related) before our arrival to the house. I’d definitely recommend this home to family and friends. Our family had a wonderful time!

My family and I had a great time spending a relaxing weekend amongst the Idyllwild trees. The cabin aesthetic and decore was beautiful, it felt luxurious yet still had a very homey feeling. We really enjoyed the record player as our background sound while we conversated and played card games, I really really liked that touch. There are sooooo many records to chose from. The views were beautiful and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Erica was very quick to respond to any questions and very easy to communicate with. I had many friends and family asking where this cabin was wanting to book for themselves. I would definitely recommend to others. One of my favorite cabins I've stayed at.

Francisco fue muy atento con nosostros, estuvo al pendiente desde que realizamos la reservación, él nos recibió, nos monstro la estancia y nos dió las instrucciones. El lugar esta hermoso, nos encanto! Se adapta muy bien a la zona y ofrece todo lo necesario para pasar una buena estadía. Si volveríamos a reservar en este bonito lugar.

This location was amazing very close to the village and very private. Our group enjoyed this place it was very cozy, everything was nicely renovated, she had everything in great shape and all supplies for us to use (coffee maker, utensils, glasses, fridge, washer/dryer, towels, soap, lotions, tp, etc). The hosts were super responsive, proactive about recommendations and the place is exactly as advertised. I’m usually a person that just uses the abnb to sleep but this place really was different it was the perfect place to relax and chill the views in the front and back of the snowy mountains were really prestige and the place was just so relaxing and cozy. Highly recommend to come with family/group, and it really has the most amazing location walking distance to the village!

We were very happy with the place! Bigger than expected and very comfortable! We loved the location because we could pretty much be anywhere in 15 min. The kids loved the game closet (so many!!!) and the treehouse. We enjoyed the Viking stove and spacious kitchen. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were fine. Grill wasn't working but we let the management company know. Parking was easy. Washer/Dryer was new and easy to use. Single cup coffee machine was a little tedious. Neighborhood is very quiet and calm. There is a great view of the bay from the house. Liberty station is notorious for airplane noise so be ready for plane noise starting at 6:30am sharp as they are creating their new runway at SAN. The planes stop at around 10pm so its very quiet for sleeping. Most days the planes were taking off right overhead. One day they were landing instead because of the fog and that was a little quieter. It was exciting watching them take off from the upper balcony. We all got used to it.

My 5 year old daughter and I had a peaceful, relaxing fun, perfect 5 days watching squirrels, birds, following animal foot prints, building snowmen, and throwing snow balls in the snow. It was sincerely a perfect getaway from the city. Everything you need is close by. I would recommend, that you bring dishwasher pods for the dishwasher, washer pods and dryer sheets for the washer dryer for your clothes, zip lock bags, aluminum foil, house slippers, extension cord, garbage bags, and a swiffer sweeper. Those are a few things I wished I brought from home. They stocked the kitchen with pots and pans, a kick ass blender, cookie sheet pans for the oven-I really appreciated that. We also LOVED the fire place(only duraflame logs, and they had lighters), the tub, the never fail wi-fi, and equipped TV in every room. The heat worked really well. (Our stay was in mid March) Thank you for well needed restful stay. We will absolutely return!

Brian’s place was perfect for our weekend away from the city. First of all, the cabin is absolutely gorgeous with a large private yard which was great for our pups. The space was equipped with everything we needed during our stay. Close to a lot of activities and scenery. We mostly cooked during our stay but we saw a lot of restaurants close by as well. Brian was communicative and very proactive during our stay — he made sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for time away from the city or visiting the area!

Beautiful cabin and very responsive host, would definitely book again!

Sabine is the most diligent and responsive host I’ve had & went above and beyond to make our stay a memory. Topanga itself is serene, beautiful, and straight out of a Studio Ghilbi movie. But her ranch—fortunately saved from fire—is even better. It sits on top of the hills with a phenomenal view and the most beautiful garden and pool. I was sold on the listing when I saw the photos but in person this place exceeded our expectations x10—i cannot recommend this spot (& Sabine as host) enough. Ended up adding a night just to soak it in but I wish we had stayed so much longer!

Die Liebe mit der Elise dieses Haus eingerichtet hat ist dort überall zu spüren. Wer ein Interesse an Architektur hat, wird sich dort sehr wohl fühlen. Die großen Fensterfronten lassen von Sonnenaufgang bis zum Sonnenuntergang die wunderschöne Natur zu einer Einrichtungseinheit werden. Selbst das Interieur ist sehr zurückhaltend und „still“ wie die Umgebung… Ein wirklich besonderes Gefühl.
