The culture here is great. Friendly staff and guests during my stay. My favorite of US hostels so far. Their backyard food truck garden is awesome on its own (recommend the pizza), but pairing it with the hostel makes it convenient and fun. This is a social hostel in an old house; you will hear noise and activity. There are events and people stay up late. Quiet hours are enforced about as well as visiting hours in a maternity ward (I.e. they are not). If that doesn’t appeal to you, stay in one of the many other motels or hotels in Bend. This is a good hostel. Some notes: there is only one bathroom on the second floor and a lot of rooms. However, there is a bathroom downstairs and an outbuilding with a bathroom and showers. Room was clean and as advertised. Good location, nice neighborhood.

this place was great! The location was awesome, reasonable distance to crater Lake, and a minimart five minutes away. It was very scenic and the sunrise was beautiful. Shout out to Swan, who was super quick to help me out when my heater stopped working, he came with a new one within 10 minutes! Would definitely return, beautiful!

I enjoyed my stay here! The other guests were quiet, clean, and respectful. I especially enjoyed having my morning coffee on the sunny patio. Very peaceful. At night there was some loud music coming from a house nearby, but I’m sure that is not the norm.

This isn't your ordinary motel. Rik, the owner, has crafted each and every room to give his guests an experience, not just a place to sleep. As a result, it feels like a creatively decorated home almost from a theme park, not a hotel room cut from a corporate template. I stayed in the Tiki Lounge, and everything in the room felt hand-picked and special. The art and decorations leave a lasting memory. I would recommend it for sure. I will say though, there is a fairly major road that runs right beside the inn. If road noise bothers you, it might not be the best place to stay. I don't mind road noise at all, so I was happy.

Host worked with us for a late check in and was very friendly. Gave us local recommendations to check out in the area. The place had other guests and the vibe was chill, friendly, and respectful. The amenities and vibe seem really cool even though we got in late and food and drinks were closed. It is an old home so floor boards creaked, water pressure wasn’t the best in the shower, couldn’t get the bathroom light to turn on, and the temp was a bit cold then warm in our room. There was a heater in the room we used. Shower had a large bottle of dial liquid soap to wash with. Overall it was a cool experience. Sauna was great!

The Drift Inn was a great spot to stay while on a road trip down the Oregon coast. The room was clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable.

I can’t really agree with a hostel room being on air bnb…. But it’s a really great establishment - very cool people. I’ve been to hundreds of hostels and this one rates very high!!!!

Great location and beautiful hotel. The other thing I would mention if anything was the water pressure was very low in the shower and people above us for very loud. Other than that we loved it.

Perfect price for a simple room. Clean, good AC, parking right in front, right next to a great breakfast place. What more could you ask for the price?

Have stayed at Red Lion locations before. I would rate this as one of the better locations. Would recommend highly. Clean and convenient. Great value.

This motel was the perfect stop for our road trip up I-5. It was easy to find, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower got hot quickly and included shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There were local soaps included in each room and local coffee! The motel is in walking distance to a great breakfast spot (Morning Glory) just down the road. We had a delicious breakfast there before finishing our journey to Portland. I would recommend this place and hope to be back soon.

We only stayed for one night but would definitely stay again in the future! The hotel was cute and clean. The restaurant had good food (but is slow), the rooms are large and it is a good value for the cost! There is a not tub. The pool is not heated year round.

Great place to stay in Bend! Short uber from downtown and only 30-45ish minutes from Mt. Bachelor! Bar is great and puts on karaoke! The fire place and pool area is great as well! Only semi-negative is the parking as it is first come first serve! But they have options for you if the main parking is unavailable! Still 5/5 stars! Would stay again!

Beautiful unique place abd experience. Jara was wonderful, helpful and great communication, helped us with all needs etc. Place its very unique, near historical bridge, feels like back in time. Highly recommended if you nearby. Till next time!

The Charleston Harbor Inn was exactly as described. The room was comfortable and spacious. The kitchenette was well stocked with necessities. I appreciated the large shower. There was a great table for card playing. I will certainly be returning. Thank you for the hospitality.

Great place at a great value. Very clean and quiet considering the location. The place was just what I was looking for so I stayed an extra nigh to catch up on some work. Awesome you two, thank you so much. .

we got an extra room next to us for my fiance's brother, it was nice to see them and forget what's going on during such a crazy moment in life right now, this place is so beautiful and had an amazingly peaceful walk trail.

Johanne and John were wonderful hosts and made our entire family welcome. There is a small bar that they open to guests and locals with a great selection of beers, wine and fun mock cocktails. Johanne even had amazing brownies to be paired with a glass of red for a fun late night treat. Rooms are original but nicely decorated with themes and great art

A Vintage Dream—Possibly Haunted, Definitely Perfect Stepping into the Peerless felt like walking onto the set of a beautifully curated vintage film—cozy, stylish, and effortlessly cool. The hosts? Absolute gems. The vibe? Flawless. The tub? A two-person soaker that made us wonder why we ever bother with regular showers. Now, about the possible haunting. Look, we’re not saying we definitely heard an old-timey ghost shuffling around approving of our taste in wine and bath salts—but if we did, they were clearly just here for the ambiance like we were. Nothing spooky, just excellent vintage charm with a hint of mystery. And the silence? Pure bliss. Zero noise— We slept like time travelers who had finally found peace. This place is a whole experience. Stay here, soak it all in (literally), and prepare to fall in love—with the hotel, not the ghost.
