We stayed 2 nights at Casa MiJa, and totally loved every minute of it. Mani, caretaker for the villa was very helpful and made the entire experience worth it. He made sure we were at ease at all times and sorted anything and everything out for us that we needed any assistance with. The villa was amazing, and the location was perfect. Beautiful beach adjacent to it. The only drawback of it was the common areas of the villa do not have air conditioning, so with the weather running quite hot; we couldn’t use it or spend as much time there as we would have liked to. If they can fix that, this would be the best villa to stay at in the area. Everything else was amazing. Would definitely want to stay here again when I’m back in Mirissa, Sri Lanka.

Sunil was the best host we had in Sri Lanka. We were welcomed with fresh and cooled coconuts. He and his colleagues were super friendly and the accommodation was even better than expected. During the tasty breakfast, we were even able to see the turtles in waves.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an Airbnb hosted by Ruwan, and it was a delightful experience. Ruwan was an extremely warm and welcoming host, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location was fantastic, within walking distance to both the beach and Coconut Tree Hill. The lush green property felt almost like staying in a forest, offering a serene environment. The breakfast provided was very good, with a variety of delicious options. The room was a bit small, but it didn't affect our comfort during the stay. Additionally, Ruwan offers to help plan activities in and around Mirissa, which could add a lot of value to your trip. Despite the minor detail about the room size, the stay had its positive aspects, particularly Ruwan's hospitality, the excellent breakfast, and the beautiful surroundings. This Airbnb is a great choice for travelers looking for a welcoming host and a beautiful location.

Wir hatten einen wirklich wundervollen Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft ist so viel schöner, als auf den Bildern und die Lage ist einfach toll. Man hat Blick auf die Reisfelder und die verschiedenen Tiere, die dort leben. Die Villa ist so bedacht an die Umgebung angepasst gebaut, dass man mit den Tieren gemeinsam dort lebt. Im Außen- Badezimmer hat sogar ein Vogel seine Eier in einem Nest gebrütet- einfach toll! Wir haben und sehr wohl und sehr umsorgt gefühlt, Charith der Haushälter hat sich toll um uns gekümmert und seine Kochkünste sind phänomenal. Er hat uns auf Anfrage Abendessen gekocht& es war das beste Essen, dass wir in der gesamten Urlaubszeit in Sri Lanka hatten. Das Frühstück war auch himmlisch. Tagsüber- nachmittags /abends wird die Villa zusätzlich noch von einem anderen Angestellten dort überwacht, sodass wir nicht jedes mal alle Türen abschließen mussten und ganz sorglos Ausflüge machen konnten. Wir haben uns sehr sicher gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder! Vielen Dank!

Great place. Right on the beach with a gate that provides complete privacy. Even with the direct proximity to the beach you feel safe and the entire resort has a great chill vibe about it. The waves are great for fun, body and surf boarding and as our close friends said “they just keep coming, it’s relentless fun” and the cool pool has a perfect temperature to plunge into after the sea. Lots of little cafes, bars, restaurants, surf schools and shops all outside the front door. The supermarket is a 10-15 minute walk or a short tuk tuk ride, selection isn’t that good and was about the only negative side of what was a very successful and relaxing week for Mums and Dads, whilst the teenagers were kept happy with the sea, pool and of course, a bit of internet time!! Lastly, the house team were always helpful and obliging to assist and guide. Thank you to them and the evening guard who keeps you safe after a hard day in the sun. We will be back…..

Beautiful property with a big pool and a great bar area. The comfy bedrooms made for a wonderful night's sleep. Dilan and his family were incredibly kind and hospitable, always ensuring we were comfortable. He provided great recommendations for restaurants and things to do and see in the area. We only stayed one night and wished we had stayed longer. Highly recommend! We will definitely return.

Terrene Villa was everything and more. Jalal responded quickly to any queries before arrival and during the booking process. We stayed for two weeks as a family of 4, plus daughter's boyfriend. The villa is stunning and just as described. Sri Lanka is the gift that keeps on giving and Terrene Villa is the perfect place to enjoy it all. Suda and Judi (apologies if I have spelt their names wrong) were a delight and looked after us very well. Their breakfasts were enjoyable and the fresh juices were delicious. The gardens were kept beautifully and what a joy to see monkeys in the trees and on the roof! Viraj sorted all our travel and day trips out and was always quick to reply and make suggestions. We were so sad to leave the villa, it really is an oasis of calm.

Amazing choice for big family or few couples. Live like a billionaire for just 150 USD per night :) The villa is neat and super stylish: expensive furniture, accessories and paintings. Also, there is a friendly servant Anura who's responsibilities are to keep the space clean, wash plates, open the gate and make breakfast (all included in the price). The villa has 3 bedrooms. The one on the second floor is pretty spacious and can host for up to 5 pax! The villa is located in the calm part of the best beach in Sri Lanka. Kilometers long, pure sand bottom. Waves are high, so the breath of the ocean will always be with you ;) Nevertheless, the ocean is swimmable. We didn't face any dangerous currents. For those who like surfing, there is a spot about 1 km to the right. The spot is good for both beginners and advanced surfers. As for disadvantages of the place, I'd note the absence of the pool / jacuzzi and cold blue lighting in some areas :) Anyway, I strongly recommend Ithquan’s villa ❤️

So, you’re obviously looking for accommodation in south-west Sri Lanka – well don’t look any further than Sailor’s Bay. From the minute you enter this paradise, you will be welcomed and charmed by Dilan and his family. The environment is gorgeous – any stress totally disappears. Nothing is too much trouble. They are engaging, and genuinely go out of their way to ensure that every second of your stay is a second to remember. Our family (13 – 3 generations – ages 2 – 74) was continually astounded by their willingness to do the best by us . It was a sad time when we left, but happy in the knowledge that we will return. So, take my word for it – Sailor’s Bay will not disappoint even the most pedantic traveler.

When planning my trip to the South Province of Sri Lanka I was looking for an authentic, calm, modern, clean and one of a kind accommodation. The BoBo's Cinnamon Estate Duwabedda met more then my expectations. I am still dreaming of the soft breeze, the shy smell of cinnamon, the peacocks who visited us before heading to the next lot (this time a rice field), the smooth awakening early in the morning (gentle prayers of the Buddhist monks from far away, early morning songs of the birds...), the lovely Ceylon tea, the host's topless tuk tuk that brought us to the sea side, Galle and other destinations, and so much more... Catrin and Bharatha were caring and loving hosts. They were present yet discreet. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Located in a less busy, on a hill and a more local area but walkable distance to the main road, public transportation, Uber, pickme, supermarkets and restaurants. Totally sweet, friendly, professional and kind hosts. They warmly welcomed me and my wife to the property and helped carry our bags to the apartment upstairs. We instantly felt like we were at home. Apartment is modern, newly built and squeaky clean. We loved the view from the balconies as well as from the rooftop. Nobody bothers anybody and we thoroughly enjoyed our privacy here. Everything was included in the apartment for a comfy stay. Air-condition was excellent and there was ample hot water in the bathroom. It will be nice to have a duvet/comforter because it can get chilly at night. The best part is the pool which was so refreshing during hot days. It was clean and well maintained, almost felt like a natural pool. Our stay was excellent and would love to come back. Thanks for hosting us. Good luck guys.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans ce logement. Susil et sa famille sont d’une gentillesse remarquable : accueillants, serviables et toujours prêts à aider. Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous, intégrés à leur famille dès notre arrivée. Le logement correspond parfaitement à la description et aux photos. Tout est propre, bien équipé, notamment la cuisine qui dispose de tous les ustensiles nécessaires. L’endroit est calme et paisible, idéal pour se reposer, tout en étant très bien situé. Tout est accessible à pied en quelques minutes : supermarché, marché de légumes et de poisson, restaurants, boulangerie… La plage toute proche est magnifique, et non loin se trouve un spot où l’on peut nager avec les poissons et les tortues, dans une eau calme et sans trop de vagues, ce qui est très agréable. La plage des tortues est un peu plus éloignée, mais toujours accessible à pied. Nous sommes reconnaissants pour cet accueil chaleureux et recommandons ce logement à 100 % !

Eine sehr entspannte Unterkunft und super gemütlich. Sie ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Der Strand ist direkt hinter dem Garten und ein paar Gehminuten entfernt gibt es ebenfalls einen schönen Strand mit weniger Steinen beim Einstieg. Saskia, Chethanas Freundin, war super lieb und freundlich und hatte sehr viele Tipps für die Umgebung. Ihr Frühstück war sehr lecker und sah zudem auch wunderschön aus. Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen und würden wiederkommen.

Très bon accueil d'Amila et sa famille. La maison est un peu excentrée, mais Alima nous transporte partout où l'on souhaite. Le prix est raisonnable et affiché dans la chambre. Alima et sa femme cuisine très bien. Nous recommandons.

Wir sind sehr zufrieden gewesen. Super Lage, auch der Pool ist toll gewesen. Inklusive Frühstück in dem Preis ist echt top!

Nous avons été agréablement surpris par cette paisible maison entourée de verdure, un jolie jardin et piscine accessible jusqu’à la tombée de la nuit. Le cadre est vraiment mignon, mieux que les photos de l’annonce :P . Hôte très accueillant qui à l’arrivée vous donne des recommandations de lieux et restaurants, plages accessibles à 2mn à pied, vraiment bien situé. Bon rapport qualité-prix, on recommande !

sehr schöne Unterkunft. es ist perfekt zum erholen und zum entspannen. das Frühstück ist groß und mit Liebe zubereitet. die Ayurveda-Behandlungen sind traumhaft und das Zimmer ist neu, sauber und gemütlich. das Team ist sehr hilfsbereit! Alles was man braucht :)

Perfect place for a little romantic getaway in the beautiful Galle fort! You couldn't ask for a better location, kinder hosts, and a more delicious breakfast. Highly recommend staying at the Dutch Wall:)

Sommes restés 4 nuits, très beau logement, belle cuisine, tout est fonctionnel.Tres bon accueil de Nisha, toujours souriante et prête à vous rendre service. Elle a même adapté le petit déjeuner à la française qui est copieux ... elle a réservé un scooter pour nous, bus, tuk tuk à proximité, petite supérette de dépannage, très bon restaurant pas cher à 5 mn sur la plage. Nous recommandons fortement.

El alojamiento es tal cual las fotos. El personal fue muy agradable en todo momento. La piscina es algo pequeña pero perfecta para darte un chapuzón. Si escoges este alojamiento has de saber que habrá mosquitos y otros tipos de animales como ranas, lagartos o ardillas. El desayuno era correcto pero algo escaso comparado con otros alojamientos en Sri Lanka. En general la experiencia fue buena

We stayed at Swell Shacks for 5 nights and it was amazing, the staff went out of their way to decorate the room for my partners birthday. The included breakfast was delicious with enough to choose from. The views were gorgeous and being able to use the pool next door was a big plus. My partner was able to go surfing right out the front of the villa. The room looked exactly like the pictures and was clean with a very very comfy bed. The staff were all so kind and we enjoyed the quiet & peaceful location we didn’t want to leave !!! Will definitely recommend to anyone and we will be back :)

Wir haben für unsere letzten Tage in Sri Lanka die Suit von Dinesh gewählt und es war die beste Entscheidung! Erstmal wurden wir mit kalten Handtüchern und Wasser von Dinesh empfangen, er hat uns sehr hilfreiche Tipps gegeben und wir haben uns direkt willkommen gefühlt. Dann in dem Apartment angekommen wurden wir überrascht wie groß es war, und was für eine besondere Atmosphäre dort war zusammen mit der tollen Lage im Dschungel. Auch das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen war hervorragend. Insgesamt haben wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder. Nur eine Kleinigkeit die man vielleicht verbessern könnte war das Wlan, denn das hat nicht wirklich funktioniert, aber sonst alles wirklich top!
