Amazing location. About a three minute walk to the beach, and a ten minute walk to the Duck boardwalk/shops. The house was clean and well accommodating. The host was very responsive. Highly recommend! 😊

Great place! If you have a large party this is the one. Large living room, kitchen, and dining area in open concept makes it easy to carry on conversations while preparing food or watching the game. Second living room near the bedrooms is super peaceful with no tv as a distraction it makes it a wonderful spot to sit and read a book or have a nice conversation. The afternoon sunshine comes through a large window making it extra cozy. Super quiet and peaceful neighborhood. So close to awesome coffee shop and other great places to eat.

Robyns home was immaculate! good location. enjoyed the small pond in the back (saw a heron) you can see the pond from the kitchen window which is nice when you are cooking. it's so peaceful and relaxing. also enjoyed the swing and yard and porch. nice comfortable beds. good quality of linens, towels, etc in the home. Robyn is a good host. good communication. even had spices and pancake mix and syrup which was nice. great price. I also liked that the master bathroom was one side and the other two bedrooms in the other side of the house. there is a small step into the shower but very doable even for my elderly mom. wonderful, relaxing, well appointed, clean home with good quality items throughout from nice TVs to good beds to good pans and knives to cook with. thank you for a wonderful stay!

Rainbow after rain was such a great experience!! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and it was perfect. The house felt very welcoming and homey. The canal access was a bonus my husband kayaked a few days in a row. There were additional kayaks and crab pots to have access to during the stay. We loved the area and there were recommendations and tons of things to do! One of the best stays on AirBNB we have had!

Pablo's home was just the family getaway we needed! It was super clean, extremely comfortable and centrally located to a lot of different activities and sights that we truly enjoyed even in "off season ". Pablo was very helpful and responded quickly. Perfect for 2 families to stay over Thanksgiving. Plenty of space, 3 mins walk to the beach for sunrise & strolls, well stocked kitchen, lots of seating, peaceful surroundings and we really enjoyed watching sunset from the Village Tavern at the end of the road. Tracey was really helpful. We’d love to come back again sometime!

We had a great time! The home theater was definitely used a lot and the set up was great. Our 5 year old loved the arcade game setup as well. Would stay here again!

This year’s stay in Kitty Hawk was an eventful one, and my hosts went above and beyond to keep me both comfortable and safe. With the arrival of the large snowfall and the frigid temperatures, they provided me an extra heater in case of need, and shoveled me a walkable path from the bungalow door to my car. For their kindness, on top of so many reasons I continue to return to the Retreat: cleanliness, comfort, space enough to work from and relax in, proximity to local amenities (food, shops, etc.), to the beach, and to walking/hiking spots, and for the peaceful surroundings, I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to recommend their sweet place for a stay.

We had a great time. Very nice place. Much better than a hotel. The host was extremely helpful. This was the first Airbnb for us and we would do this again. We enjoyed the area and it helped to have a tremendous place to stay.

Debra was incredibly accommodating. The property looked as pictured and was very nice.

This is my 3rd visit so that shld day it all! It has the best view AND the best bed ever. Very safe for solo travel and peace and quiet.

I loved our stay at Jess & Derik’s cute apartment. The decor was trendy, artsy and cool making it feel very cozy and comfortable. Also very clean! Mom’s sweet shop right downstairs with smoothies and snacks was very charming too. The location is perfect, very close to the beach and the hosts kindly offered beach chairs with the stay, which was very nice! I would definitely come back again for a stay and to visit the cute shop!

Artim was definitely the most responsive host that I've ever had - has automated responses that are well-timed for the length of your stay. The listing was super convenient to most places in the Outer Banks - easy drive to landmarks, restaurants, shopping, etc. The space was roomy and comfortable for two people; we came during off-season and were able to spend a lot of time just relaxing in the Airbnb. There is a rental agreement that Artim sends right after you book - something I've never encountered before, but basically just reiterates the same information on the listing.

The condo is spacious and pretty; kitchen is well-stocked with utensils, dishes, pots, etc.; bedrooms are roomy with comfortable mattresses; tvs in each bedroom are handy; books for toddlers and board games for adults are thoughtful; easy walk to the beach; safe parking area and easy coded entry; elevator made transporting belongs and groceries less burdensome; use of beach chairs is appreciated; location of condo is ideal.

This little condo was a perfect fit for our quick family vacation. They provided everything we could need including dish soap, trash bags and plenty of towels. They even had a roll away and a pack n play. A lot of places don't often offer those luxuries. The location was central to everything in the outer banks. we've been coming here for years and we had all our spots and restaurants we like to eat at within 10-15 minutes. The beach is a 3 minute walk!! We were there twice a day. There is a new ice cream shop that is just across the parking lot as well so that was perfect for our sugar-loving fam. The second room is very tiny and only suitable for a toddler. The bed in there is a very small foldout futon type but there is a bar down the center that made it uncomfy the first night for our son so he ended up in our bed. However, they had plenty of blankets and towels and I used those to cushion the bed so it worked out great. I'd definitely utilize their rental again in the future.

This was our first trip to the Outer Banks and it didn’t disappoint! Dave & Raquel were perfect hosts. Quick to respond to questions. Their home was exactly as described and seen in pictures. The place is laid out great. Clean and appointed nicely. Waking up to the sound of the ocean waves was amazing. Centrally located to restaurant, attractions and fishing piers. We couldn’t have asked for more. We would definitely like to return. Perfect for couples or small families!

This was the perfect getaway for us and just what we were looking for when we initially had no idea where to go! The storage closet was nice for things you might have not thought to bring.

What a great location! We could walk everywhere we needed to go and we were pleasantly surprised at the size and quality of the rental, the pictures do not do it justice! We would definitely rent this property again in the future.
