Great stay in Stony Creek Village with a view of Long Island Sound and short walk to the pier, Stony Creek Market (breakfast & lunch). I used the Library and went to services at the Stony Creek Congregational Church. Overall, a nice experience.

Really cute and clean place, so happy we stayed here! It was perfect little place for a getaway to relax, even in the winter months. Everything inside was up to date and it had everything we needed. It even looked better in real life than the photos. Highly recommend!

Property was beautiful. The views in the backyard were amazing even though it’s still winter . I can imagine how they would be in the summer months .

What a beautiful home. It is located in a park like setting, so peaceful and quiet. We were visiting family and the location was perfect for us. We would highly recommend this property and we will use it again ourselves.

We love staying at interesting, off-the-beaten-path places, and Bob's place is a gem! It's a couple hundred yards from a wonderful beach, and an easy 13-minute drive into Greenport, where the lodging is double or triple. Bob is super friendly, very responsive, and eager to help in any way. The rental is a cozy apartment attached to his place in a very quiet, peaceful neighborhood up a private drive. We visited during the off-season, so Greenport was quiet, too, and lots of the restaurants were closed, which was totally expected for a North Fork shore town in February! We didn't go to Shelter Island (which we love) this time, but the ferry is right in Greenport, and transits regularly. A wonderful experience, and we will absolutely stay again when our wanderlust brings us back to the North Fork!

Just as expected. Our second time staying there. Recommend for an affordable stay in a great location!

The place was absolutely beautiful, clean and had great amenities. The host was also very responsive and attentive to any questions we had to ask. Would come back in a heartbeat!

This house is a gem! I came to stay a week in off season with my dog, Rollo. The location is breathtaking, right on the Long Island Sound. We had a great time exploring the beach, looking for all the biodiversity in the birds and sea creatures, watching the boats, and this place is relatively close to an airport so watching the planes land and take off was awsome as well. We came for privacy, and I expected the beach to be a little more private than it was due to my dog's reactivity. But the neighbors did not seem to have issues with us, and once you are close to the water, especially in low tide, the beach is pretty open for all the locals. Walking around, the locals all waved and said hello. Not too many restaurants close by, but the Lobster Shack down the road had good food! Would stay again! The deck alone was worth it!

Steve and Dorry made sure all our needs were met including recommending places to eat and things to do. They are an incredibly kind couple who care about the people who rent their home. Everything was exactly as we expected! we had a beautiful view and the house was very comfortable!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again ! Close to the many wineries and cute towns, and peaceful and comfortable to come back and relax at. We enjoyed the fire pit , the view from the dock of the changing tree colors and the flow of the kitchen. ❤️

This home is beautiful and so spacious! Proximity to East Hampton and Springs, yet very private and peaceful. Couldn’t recommend enough!

The house was perfect ! It was exactly how it was described and shown in the pictures. The location is right on the beach and we got to enjoy the most amazing sunset! We took full advantage of the hot tub that is right on the deck overlooking the beach ! It was so nice to come back from being out all day and relax in it ! Matt and Celia are great hosts ! They responded so quickly to our questions about the area and suggestions for dinner etc . The location is perfect to visit Yale and downtown New Haven but also close to Branford and the other quaint towns on the water . We highly recommend staying here if you are in the area! 5 stars !

Five stars doesn't feel like enough, if anything I'd say everything was better than we'd expected based on the pictures and the reviews! First, as others have mentioned John was an incredible host, the place was well stocked and had all sorts of snacks and drinks (and a nice bottle of wine); he also bought us dinner and was very good about keeping in touch the whole time we were there. The house was amazing top to bottom, but I have to specifically call out the pool, which was jaw-droppingly beautiful and the perfect temperature despite cold weather outside. We loved the neighborhood and yard to walk our dogs, and the kitchen was great to cook in (made me miss having a gas stovetop). We'll definitely be visiting again, it was the kind of stay that sets a new bar for what to look for in a vacation!

lovely 2 bedroom with gorgeous water views from two roomy terraces , nice to wake up to the breeze of the water and the unspoilt natural surroundings of the wild sound. Thomas was a great host and very responsive

This was the perfect last-minute getaway for my always on-the-go family in need of some quiet bonding time. The condo was simple and clean, the beach beautiful (even in the winter), and Alice and Gasper were very responsive. Would highly recommend!

Such a beautiful condo by the water! Too bad we stayed in November, we would have enjoyed the terrace way more! Mia was so responsive and helpful with my questions prior to the weekend at her place.

Julie’s condo right on the water was even better than the photos could show. Check in was super easy. I had two minor snags and Julie was instantly responsive to solve everything immediately-and even make the stay actually better. The place is spotless clean, well appointed, completely comfortable, and waking up to that expanse of water made me excited to get out of bed and see. It’s a multi million dollar view. At least in this off season this is by far the best deal in Greenport when looking at price to value to living for the moment with water for as far as the eye can see. Great apartment. Great host.
