We really enjoyed our time at Grant and Laura’s place! They’ve truly thought of everything to make their guests feel at home. The place is spacious, beautifully decorated and spotless. Everything was perfect! The location was amazing, just a quick walk to the beach and restaurants. They have beach chairs and towels ready for use. Plenty of other towels, trash bags and quality pillows in all bedrooms which we appreciated. We use Airbnbs often and our family agrees this house goes to the top of our list. We will definitely be back! Thanks so much for sharing your gem of a place with us. We really wish we could have made this a longer trip.

We enjoyed our week at Emma’s Dream! It was a beautiful home and description was accurate. There was lots of room, beautiful views and relaxing decks to spend time together. The beach was quiet and house is conveniently located near the pier and restaurants. We would definitely rent this home again.

We had a fantastic stay. The space is bright and clean, it has great indoor and outdoor space - both with incredible views. For families- there is a pack-n-play but no bath tub, not a deal breaker but plan ahead. It was very convenient to the beach and the public access next door did not disrupt the peace. The boats were very responsive and helpful. We will be back!!

We had a great time at Lindsay’s place. Even tho it isn’t ocean front the walk to the ocean is right out the door. The top porch has a wonderful view. The part my family loved the most is everyone had control over their bedroom temperature. Everyone has their opinion on the best sleeping temp. I would warn, if you are traveling with a small child, there are some very steep stairs going down from the main floor. We had an 18 month old with us and trying to keep him off the steps was a chore. We finally blocked the space with some chairs and used the side door, so it wasn’t a problem. It was just a little stressful until we found a solution.

Our stay at Shelly's place was EXACTLY what we needed! Private parking literally steps from the beach and many many restaurants and shops. My family and I had the best time together there. The home was clean and simple, exactly what you need for a beach trip! Shelly was very responsive when I had questions about check in. Definitely would stay here again!

great place to "hunker down" for the six of us, given that we had high winds and constant rain throughout our stay! of course the weather didn't keep us from experiencing great food nearby and a few local indoor attractions - we needed a place to stay close enough to attend a concert at The Wilson Center without being in a nearby hotel and Emily's place was an awesome choice

Beautiful canal home that fit our needs perfectly! The neighborhood was very close to the beach with an easy walk to beach access. The pool was an excellent option for the toddlers in our group. The house has everything you could need for a wonderful Ocean Isle vacation! Highly recommend!

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Erin’s Home for Labor Day weekend. We were there to celebrate my birthday as well as time as a family. The home was well prepared for our stay and the necessities needed were all available. It’s such a beautiful home and having access to a pool on the premises was an added plus. The homeowners also provided us a list with information to any questions we may have needed answered which was a nice touch. I recommend anyone interested in renting a home to spend with family or friends, to consider a stay here. You won’t be disappointed! We stayed at this property for four days in October and had a greqt experience. The property was beautifully decorated and had all the ammenities that were listed. The property was well manicured outside and the swimming pool and firpit were awesome. Upon arrival we found the property in a very clean and tidy and in working condition. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure in the sinks and showers was good. Maybe it was because we were there in the off season, but there were no crowds to speak of and we felt like we had a lot of privacy at the property. Overall, this was a very good experience.

Andrea was very responsive with all communication. She is so kind and understanding. The house was beautiful and as described. Beach access was right across the street which was so convenient. The pool was our lifesaver as hurricane Debby dampened our stay, the kids could get out and swim in between the rain. There is many places to sit on each deck and the deck off of the living room was our favorite spot. You can see the ocean just about anywhere in the house. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again.

Great location on Oak Island. The house and neighbourhood is perfect and peaceful. The hosts are very responsive and I will be going back. The beds are really comfortable and the pool is perfect. We will be going back!

We are frequent AirBnB travelers, and this place was exceptional! Lots of space, super clean, great pool & hottub, LOVED the golf cart - a fantastic was to get around the island! Everything we needed was there from eco-friendly hygiene and cleaning items to every kitchen utensil needed to cook (which we did lots of!). The hosts were SUPER responsive when we had questions. Check out their guide book - lots of great to dos and local eateries! We've already recommended this place to friends and will definitely return if we're in the area. Thanks for a great place for a great week!

Wow! What a beautiful home! I have stayed with my staff in many AirBnBs over the years from New York, to Baton Rouge to San Francisco, Orlando and Wisconsin. This was by far the best stocked home I have ever stayed in. Every single thing we reached for was there! From beach chairs to a Kitchen-Aid. There was one instance when I couldn't find something and I messaged my host. He called me immediately and walked me through how to find it. One of the best features was the elevator! We fed 9 women 12 meals. That's a lot of groceries and luggage! We just loaded up the elevator and sent it where we wanted it to go! No hauling things up and down stairs! Seriously considering returning to this same place next year!

Bryan’s place was awesome! It was clean and in a great location. My kids loved the pool. It had everything we needed! We would definitely stay again!

We stayed at Ric and Chelsea’s place for a week and everything was great! House was wonderful and exactly what our family needed. Lots of things to do at the house and in a very walkable location. Ric was very communicative. All around great stay.

We had a great time! The Oakland marathon was a blast. Elisabeth’s place was easy to access and perfect for what we needed. The kids loved the bunk room. It was walkable to the beach, clean and the perfect amount of space, we slept well & had what we needed for a comfortable stay. Grateful for the wagon beneath the house to use back and forth to the ocean & the lego’s were a huge hit. Thank you!!

This is the nicest, quietest AirBnb we have stayed in -+ bonus: with the most generous, responsive host. All of the views and vistas at this elevated retreat are spectacular!!! Love the location. Close to the beach and marshes and also plenty of porches and other seating spots to relax. Everything inside was comfortably and generously prepared for us - plenty of dishes and kitchen supplies, loads of towels, comfy couches and beds/bedding, beach needs…what more could you ask for? Grateful to have spent Thanksgiving ‘24 here.

The house was as described if not better. The views are exceptional and Walt was an amazing host. We stayed at Channel 6 for a family Thanksgiving and it did not dissapoint.

I cannot say enough great things about this place! The attention to detail, quality of linens and kitchen items were awesome. The house was very clean and welcoming. First time ever stay at an airb&b where the beds were top notch! I could have reduced my packing by 60%, everything was there and if I did forget something; the hostess didn’t! The backyard space was wonderful and great for family gatherings! Highly recommend this place!!!
