Beautiful location overlooking calm Huon river. Large space, filled with lovely furniture. Well equipped kitchen and welcoming comestibles on arrival. Would happily visit again.

We booked at the last minute, and Steph and Matt were very quick to respond and very accommodating. Their home is beautifully presented and renovated, sparkly clean, and very comfortable and stylish. I would highly recommend. Thank you.

Stunning views, tranquil surrounds, lots of space, fully stocked pantry and kitchen. Loved the wildlife. Stephen is a great host and communicated promptly. Easy access to Huon Valley, Bruny Island and Hobart surrounds. Would gladly stay again!

Gorgeous little cottage on a beautiful peaceful property. Just what we needed. Loved fossicking for fresh food for our brekkie and sitting in the orchard sipping coffee and listening to the birds. Thank you!

This is the second time I have stayed it’s a great location View to the mountain while eating breakfast is fantastic but no snow this trip hoping for dusting of snow next trip in may enjoy the walk to the supermarket ( 5 mins ) What can you say the pinball machines keep you busy great father and son activity Once again many thanks tony always available for help if you need it

Wow the 3 nights spent in Queenstown went quickly. Pete's place is very cute, homely and spacious for the 5 of us. Loved the proximity to the main street and railway, and the surrounding areas stunning in their own unique beauty. Loved the walk to horsetail falls and all the other recommendations we we're given. Not that far from Strahan by car to do a day trip. Loved the little extras given to make it a bit like home. Definitely recommend Pete's place.

We loved our stay at Stone Flower. The barn was exactly as described. It was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We arrived late afternoon and really appreciated the breakfast items for the next morning, and welcoming flowers on the table. The pantry also contained useful items to assist with cooking. The location was very private and peaceful, and an easy walking distance to the waterfront, or a $10 UBER either way. The space was well designed and very clean. It was a home away from home. We made use of the washing machine and outdoor clothesline which was an added bonus for our 6 day stay. We would definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Hobart.

Wendy's place is a home. By this I mean it felt like we were coming home after long hours sightseeing in beautiful Tasmania. She generously left food in the fridge upon our arrival (a starter kit she said) i.e. eggs, bacon, yoghurt, cheese, milk and her husband Malcolm gave us some home grown tomatoes and cucumber. The pantry has everything you need for cooking. They also gave us tips about places to visit. Wendy and Malcom are a lovely couple who seek to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. To say my time at Gabi's Airbnb was exceptional would be an understatement. Her studio was perfect for a 6-week sabbatical - and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to do a long (or short) term stay. Gabi and her family were extremely gracious, responsive, helpful, and hospitable. The space was clean, private, and exactly as described on the listing. Hope I can return again in the future!

Tom's place was perfect for me and I was very glad I'd chosen to stay there. It provided a peaceful, quiet retreat in leafy bush setting, whilst very convenient for The Colour Circle up the road in Mount Nelson where I was attending art workshops. The driveway is steep, and I chose to park up the road and walk down. I was happy with that decision! It suited me ... though I'm sure other visitors would be fine with driving the gradient, and there is ample parking space at Tom's house. Tom himself is charming and friendly; he could not have been more helpful with everything, offering to carry my bags or to do anything to make my stay excellent. Meanwhile I enjoyed my private, quiet space in the airbnb, with a super bed (always important), fine cotton sheets, large screened windows and door for fresh tree air, a nice bathroom/shower and generous provisions to sample! Altogether recommended, and I'm sure I'll be back!

A very central location handy to fun attractions like Margate Train and the Bruny Island ferry at nearby Kettering.

Yvette was very responsive whenever I had a question. The place was clean and tidy, well thought out, and I could not want for everything. I stayed with my pets while waiting to move into a new rental and it was the perfect stopgap. Highly recommended.

She was very personable and very warm. And her hospitality made it feel very homey. Would def recommend and loved the drive up to her place and absolutely loved the views as well. An absolute killer sunrise. ❤️🫶🏿

Janette was very friendly and welcoming, she was home when we arrive and on departure. she was very helpful with any of our needs and extremely responsive with messages. Our little puppy and children where very welcome into the home of Jans. Jan was very accommodating with amendments, and food, washing machine ect. This home was just like a home away from home. We highly recommend Jans home, we will definitely be back again if we where to visit Hobart in the future 😀

Hilary and Chris have things well Sorted . The attention to detail is evident. A bountiful bowl of produce from the garden including fresh eggs on our arrival to crisp quality bed linens and vases of fresh cut flowers we felt like we were valued from the moment we arrived . The Barn is an incredible piece of old architecture steeped in history, beautifully styled and super cosy . We loved how central it was to visit all of Hobart’s hot spots and surrounds . The neighbourhood is interesting with good options for a morning coffee and a stroll down to the Rivulet. Would certainly love to stay again sometime.

Stunning place. Very clean, immaculate, calm and beautiful. Barbara went above and beyond to create a place of hospitality, peace and beauty and added so many extra details to make it feel like a home (even with freshly home-cooked bread)! Highly recommend and would love to come back.

Bea is a lovely host who loves making sure guests are well looked after. We had a last minute upgrade to a room with a view of the water. Well worth it! Such a quiet peaceful setting. So much food to enjoy on arrival as well! Thanks for sharing your home Bea! A real home away from home.

This is a very special type of BnB, Breakfast and Bed as they say. Thana is an interior designer and very hospitable host. Check in before 16.30 to have complementary afternoon "tea" (snack and drink of choice, ours Saki) and view Platypus. In the evening (must book 1 day advance so Chef can have fresh ingredients picked that day) Chef Kazumasa-san will give you a dining experience that would be difficult to find anywhere in the world (and I have travelled a lot inc Japan) and defiantly unique to Australia I would think. Wild Platypus in the stream through the garden makes it unique. Japanese Omakase style with slight French twist using fresh Tasmanian ingredients. Max 6 PAX but Chef prefers less. The atmosphere is very calming and relaxing due to the styling of the rooms. Then there is breakfast, that is another dining experience to itself where again Thana and Chef Kazumasa will spoil you. Staying at Cambridge House is an experience, not a stay, foodies delight.

Wonderful. The appartment is stunning, in a gorgeous historic house, located in a beautiful neighbourhood with a very nice view. Walkable distance from the heart of Hobart. Everything is very high quality. We wished we could stay more !

Mark’s house is very homely and cosy. It is located a stone throw from the beautiful Kunanyi mountain. I thoroughly enjoy my stay there and would recommend it to people who love nature.

Penny has been an absolute gem...She has been extremely helpful and made my stay in hobart very memorable. I felt right at home in her lovely cottage.
