I absolutely recommend to consider this apartment for a stay in the area. John is a very helpful and friendly host, and the apartment is simply great. My stay was in the winter, so I cannot say much about the lake, other than it does look beautiful.

A wonderful retreat in a glorious setting. Lucia was responsive, kind, and generous. The riverfront and walking path were everything we’d hoped for, to connect with nature during a visit with family. Grab your groceries on the way in, before arrival, and I promise, you won’t want to leave ❤️

We were in town visiting family for Christmas and we had a wonderful stay at Peggy’s lake house. The home was clean, spacious, and quiet. It was a great fit for our family of four.

Beautiful, story-telling, timeless home that provided a cozy backdrop for a family visit. The gorgeous fall leaves and pond were fun to explore! The home was very clean with numerous amenities. Jennifer was a great host, providing clear instructions and availability. Books galore! What a gem!

My family came in from Jersey and we got to spend a few days there all together and I must say it was the most beautiful lake home.. we made some amazing memories. I would go back and use this home again for sure.. Thank you

The place is just as pictured. Very charming 3 bedroom and 2 bath with a lovely view of the lake. We had fun fishing from the dock and swinging in the hammock. The neighbors are friendly and the house has all you need. We really enjoyed our Christmas vacation and would recommend it to everyone.

Ryan was an amazing host and our party of 11 (four adults, seven kids) had more than enough space in his squeaky-clean house! The two couches downstairs had pull-out beds which gave a place for everyone to sleep. The amenities that this place has were second-to-none! Huge TV’s, indoor/outdoor dining spots, propane grill, fire pit, plenty of outdoor chairs, multiple kayaks, paddleboard, and a floating pad - we used them all and had a fantastic time! They even set us up to rent their boat on Lake Bowen which was a fantastic experience as well because of the convenience of being right there on their dock! The boat pulled the tube and water skis very well and it definitely added a lot to our experience on the lake! This house was a perfect find for us and we hope to be back again soon!
