Peaceful location and just the right size. We enjoyed our time sitting on the porch reading, eating and just rocking in the large rocking wooden rocking chairs while chatting. We watched the ducks and geese on the lake. In the evenings, we could see the turtles stick their heads out of the water. Although there was lots to do, we only took advantage of the pools. If you are someone who wants to be doing something and planning activities to keep little ones busy, you have lots of options at the resort where this cabin is located.

Me and my boyfriend had so much fun! We came down for my birthday and we had the best time. The cabin was beautiful and the hot tub was our favorite place to relax! I would definitely come back in the future!

Beautiful and unique little spot. Great place to get comfortable and watch a movie or relax in the hot tub with your significant other. Feels very private and good distance to downtown and other things in the area.

We had a cabin with a beautiful view of the water. The hot tub was a lot bigger then I expected. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to come back but this time with our boys as they would of loved it.

We loved the outdoor spaces and the view of the lake from the living room! Plenty of hikes and wineries to go to in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated their flexibility as well!

We had a great stay. The fenced in yard was amazing for letting our dog run around. The fireplace was cozy. The provided soap was a nice touch as were the beds being made upon arrival. The bathrooms were luxurious. Overall, it is a wonderful place to stay and relax and I would recommend it to anyone.

We were a group of 6 and this was the perfect place! It was clean, plenty of room, and it was within walking distance to downtown Fredericksburg. My only complaint would be that there wasn't enough hot water for 6 people but other than that we had a wonderful stay.

This stay is one of my favorite places. The house is super charming. Their theme of “the lucky duck” goes nicely with their “squeaky” clean place. (Pun intended). The hot tub was frequently maintained and sanitized, and was sparkly clean. Not many places have such a perfect house combined with a hot tub! The community was safe, with a guarded gate. The kitchen was very well equipped, as was the rest of the house. These hosts are very thoughtful with what they provide the guests. For example, there was a step stool in the bathroom which allowed my kiddos to reach the sink. I could stay there forever! The kitchen is the cutest kitchen, with charming vintage touches, and every gadget/appliance/utensil you could possibly need. Highly recommend.

My husband and I made a one night stop in the area to get off the road after a long day of driving. This cabin was so beautiful and peaceful and totally different from other Airbnbs or roadside hotels. We loved the woods and the little lake — beautiful spots to walk our dog. I would love to come back to this property. Very grateful to Jennifer for the swift and helpful communication, too!

I cannot fully express how incredible this stay was. From the beautiful location, adorable cottage, prompt response, extreme kindness…. It was just what I needed and more! I will definitely be making this a regular occurrence to stay here and recharge. Perfect retreat for someone who needs a break from the craziness of everyday life. 10/10

The Tobacco Barn cabin at Stevenson Ridge is a nice decorated rustic space with all the needed amenities for a comfortable stay. Fireplace with wood, fat wood kindling and newspaper made it easy to enjoy a warm fire. The kitchenette had a small fridge with freezer, a microwave, a coffee maker and plates cups, silverware and wine opener. My traveling companion (dog) was provided a soft blanket, dog bowls, poop bags and a few treats to welcome her. We both enjoyed walking the property and trails during our stay!

We had a lovely stay in Jehani’s lake house! The layout was super relaxing and convenient for a family stay with a toddler. Also there were tons of toys for our daughter to play with all weekend. She was in heaven! We would definitely stay in this home again and communicating with Jehani was also super easy. She sent all of the instructions ahead of time in a message and it made check-in/out seamless! Ideal lake house for a family with young children!

All I needed was a simple place to sleep for 3 nights and Cheryl’s place delivered at a very low price. Good scenic location in the woods behind her home. When she says the place is primitive, it’s not exaggeration. There is no electricity, plumbing or air conditioning in it, so make sure you know that before booking. I had no issue with it, and it was actually nice to have some simplicity.

Absolutely loved it. They upgraded us to a 2 bed,2 bathroom cabin. Omg it was perfect. We loved it so much, we’re coming back in the summer.

Such an amazing stay! This was my first experience with an Airbnb and I am already planning on returning to the cabin with family. So much to do, very clean, and the host was so responsive. 5 stars for sure!

The Bedford cabin was great! My partner were looking for a quite cabin experience close to DC and this was perfect. The breakfast add on was also great so we could enjoy the cozy cabin vibes and not have to drive for every meal.

This place a hidden GEM! It started with the most amazing smooth check in I’ve ever had. When I arrived to the cabin I couldn’t believe the warm and inviting space and how clean and beautiful it was. Housekeeping did a great job as the bathroom and every single space was spotless, I am impressed. They have fire wood outside ready for you to use in the living room fireplace for a warm romantic evening also the soaking tub omg was so relaxing and let me not forget to mention this cabin has the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. I ordered the S’more package and also the most delicious breakfast delivered to your front door. I can’t explain in words how perfect this stay was for us. I will definitely be returning. Thank you so much for having us!!! This is what every Airbnb should be like!!

On our last morning in the Cabin in Orange, I had to drag (metaphorically speaking) my wife from the property. We booked the Chris’ cabin for our anniversary weekend and we weren’t disappointed. The cabin was stocked with everything that we needed for our stay. The kitchen had great appliances and the bathroom had an amazing walk-in shower We enjoyed cool nights by the firepit, grilling and enjoying the scenic view, to conversations on the balcony in the quiet neighborhood. The inside of the cabin was beautiful, furnished, and had great space usage. I enjoyed the loft, as it reminded me of my childhood home. Everything was purposely placed to provide a calming ambiance which was what we needed to wind down and reconnect. Chris was a wonderful host, who provided open communication. He also provided great restaurant recommendations; we really enjoyed The Cove!l We highly recommend booking this property if you want to get away from it all!
