Hickory is absolutely beautiful. Everyone felt comfortable and so much room. Beautiful scenery just look out the window and take it all in. The place is just like the pictures. We’re already thinking about another visit and when it could fit schedules. Bonnie reached out right away once I booked it and any questions I had were answered promptly. Thank you for letting us enjoy your wonderful home and setting.

This was our first time booking with Alisa, and it was great! Check-in was so easy, and the house is absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect getaway for my husband and me. We had two dogs with us, and Alisa was very accommodating for them. My husband loves to fish - he had such a successful fishing trip on Turtle River Lake. We can't wait to book again!

This cabin was adorable and everything our family of 4 needed for our weekend away. Everything was clean and cozy; the fireplace was exactly what we needed with negative temperatures!

Was fantastic staying there while we worked on a project. If im ever in the area again id happily come back.

Overall, we had a nice stay. There were a few hiccups at the beginning with missing supplies and some things not clean, but Emily was very responsive and reimbursed the cleaning fee. We loved that they were just as “crunchy” as we are at home! They provide glass and stainless steel cookware and clean ingredient bathroom products. You can tell Emily is very conscientious of the products she provides her guests. We also enjoyed the sauna! We definitely recommend this beautiful getaway.

Such a nice place to have as basecamp while we were in the Grand rapids area. Excellent kitchen space with all the cooking tools we needed. Plenty of space for the 4 of us to relax after a long day outside.

Margo was a fabulous host and the cabin is absolutely gorgeous! Rustic soundings with a well equipped cabin full of small touches that show what a thoughtful host we had. We went snowshoeing, bird watched, enjoyed the dvd and book collection, cooked great meals in the excellent kitchen, read by the fire, and relaxed in the jet tub. Margo also made our dog Roderick feel equally welcome with a dog bed and bowls and easy covers for the furniture so he could sit with us. We cannot recommend Margo and her cabin highly enough!

We loved our stay, it was so peaceful. Perfect for our 3 year old to run around and nice to have a little beach area for him to swim. The view was absolutely stunning.

We had a really nice Valentine's Day weekend at the Hideaway. The cabin was well appointed and cozy despite the extreme cold outside. The host was responsive before and during our stay and immediately resolved a small issue. Harold's Hideaway is on our list of places to stay again!
