This was our second time staying here and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time! we were able to bring our pups and felt safe knowing we had the option to gate the porch. The river is always beautiful and peaceful. Just bring shoes and clothes you can get muddy if you plan on getting in the water at all. we had everything we needed and look forward to returning!

Absolutely perfect that’s not too far from home for a weekend getaway for the family! All of our kids had so much fun from swimming on the dock, kayaking, catching lizards outside and releasing them, and just enjoying nature and relaxing. Very well stocked without everything you could possibly think of, and some! Beds were incredibly comfortable and everyone slept great. This is truly a hidden treasure and we will definitely stay again! PERFECT!!!

This house delivers on every level. The views are fantastic. You feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere but a grocery store is only 10 min away. And the hosts made sure we had everything we needed from propane and firewood, To even giving a gift and some s’mores ingredients!

Shelley's cabin was an absolute treasure for our family! Its location—just 10 minutes from Stone Ridge Baptist Church Camp—was perfect, combining convenience with the peaceful solitude of a private retreat. The cabin had a charming character, was impeccably maintained, and the beds were so comfortable that we felt completely at home. What truly made this stay unforgettable were the tranquil mornings and evenings on the porch. The stillness and natural beauty made it the ideal spot for quiet Bible study and meaningful family time. It was such a gift to have this serene oasis to return to each day. Shelley’s hospitality was exceptional. She made everything easy, from the seamless check-in process to her thoughtful directions that helped us find this hidden gem. We are already looking forward to coming back next year and can’t recommend this cabin highly enough!

Beautiful location with a nice view of the lake. It appears the entire interior of the house has been freshly repainted; very clean. We had a small Thanksgiving gathering there, the living room/dining area is spacious. Three bathrooms - absolutely terrific. We found everything we needed as far as cookware, etc. A couple people braved the cold wind and went kayaking on the lake. Very enjoyable stay!

We had an amazing time at Bertucci’s cabin in Arkansas! The location is easy to get to, and the cabin itself is cozy and full of charm. Nick is hands-down the best host you could ask for—super welcoming and helpful. He even has an amazing book! The night skies were absolutely breathtaking, perfect for stargazing. The pond was a hit with everyone, especially with the free kayaking available. My personal favorite was the shooting range—such a cool feature! The kids loved being out in nature, feeding ducks, and exploring. The trails around the property were beautiful and full of unique rocks, making every walk an adventure. And don’t even get me started on the hot tub spa—pure bliss! One small issue was some other guests arriving with loud, off-leash dogs, which made things a bit hectic. But aside from that, the experience was unforgettable. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking to enjoy nature with a few awesome extras!

Lynn was a very responsive and kind host! We had some bad weather during our stay and she reached out to make sure we were aware. Not only that but she let us take shelter in the next door home with a lower level. Truly went above and beyond and made us feel right at home and well cared for.

Drew was a fantastic host who perfectly described the house and location so we would know what to expect. We were doing a trial with our 2 pups (that we've not traveled with before) and this was the perfect place to take them. Not many homes have fenced in yards and we had to have that. Drew's place did and the fence was perfect. High enough and no holes or issues in the fence so our doggies were safe when they were out. We only tried the Artisan Grill for food, going back a couple of times as it was so good. Walked the neighborhood with our 2 pups and it was very peaceful and serene. Even though we did not go into the water or use the kayaks, having the water just across the street made it seem even more peaceful. We highly recommend Drew's place. Very convenient. Very nice touches by the owner (chocolates on your pillow) and very responsive to questions. Will plan to return!
