Great place to stay up in Northeast PA while visiting some family for the holidays while traveling from Maine. The apartment was clean, open, very comfortable and super warm even on the zero-degree night we spent there. Shower nice and steamy too!Host was very responsive. Place was easy to get access into upon arrival. Front deck and access to docks/kayaks in summer would be pretty awesome I would imagine. Grotto Pizza is right next door. Dallas highway right around corner. Myself, my wife, our 5 year old son and our baby girl were all quite comfy there for 3 nights and we even entertained a few family members as well. I can’t recommend this place enough .

Great deck and view of the lake - peaceful and relaxing. The house had all the amenities we needed - great grill, large sitting area and TV to hang out with family. The kids enjoyed playing in the downstairs area and roasting marshmallows out back.

My fiance & I have stayed at upwards of 100 AirBnbs, & this place is in our top 5!!!! If you're scrolling, reading reviews, looking for a place to stay in the area, stop right now & book this place. As far as bang for your buck goes, it doesn't get any better than this, & as far as amenities go, what else could you want? Hot tub, 4 beds, 3 baths, beautiful TV and amazing living room furniture, fire pit in the yard, fire table on the back deck with an amazing view, set in a peaceful & quiet field, pool table, the works! We read some negative reviews about the hot tub & a lack of products in the bathrooms, no idea where those came from. Hot tub was clean and hot when we got there, bathrooms were stocked with everything you could need in a short term rental. Book. This. House. You won't regret it!!!!

Coming from a city in Indiana to this was such a great experience. As soon as you arrive you can feel the peace of the surrounding forest and admire the private pond. Whether it was walking the property while our kids played on the swing or sitting on the dock with our toes in the water watching for deer (which we had several of daily) it was soul refreshing. The house was clean/tidy and had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking. It matched the description and pictures and had no issues during our stay of several days. Just down the road there is a small but cute shop that sells soaps, honey, lotions all made from their own local bees and a gas station about 3 minutes away. There is no doubt when we come back to the area this will be our first choice.

When I say this is probably one of the best places I’ve stayed that’s in the Poconos area. Host is very responsive, great recommendations, friendly , the house has everything you need. Easy check in, clear instructions. My kids love all the board games. Great house to have family time. We will be back.

Javid & Aysel are great hosts, super quick to respond and very helpful. They have a very lovely, homey home, and our group of 13 really enjoyed every level of it. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace as the family gathered around it and by the kitchen/dining area. The house sits very close to walking trails, ski slopes, and it’s walking distance to beach and the community center which we would like to come back for in the summer!

We had an excellent experience at Shawn’s cabin, beautiful and comfortable exceeds expectations, Shaw was very responsive and friendly 100% recommended, I can’t wait to go back!

This place was amazing!! It was just as described and looked even better. Adriana was very helpful even before my wife and I stepped foot into the house, making it very easy to call it home for our stay. Despite unforeseen circumstances, Adriana was always ready to help out. Her attentiveness could be seen through the cleanliness of the place, the detailed instructions on how to best maintain the place and her food recommendations in the surrounding area. She was very helpful and made our stay here very pleasant.

The cabin was great! Unfortunately it rained during our weekend stay but it was peaceful and beautifully laid out. The hosts were easy to communicate with. The thing I would improve would be the AC which didn't work when it was hot.
