It's important to judge the Airbnb on Bangladesh standards and not compare it with a property in a more affluent country. In local terms I think this would be a luxury apartment. The location of the Airbnb in a side street means that there is very little traffic noise. Very good beds and a nice lounge area. Wifi is ok, not great. It seemed like there was renovation going on as there was exposed/insulated wiring in the bathroom and kitchen. Very good AC units in the bedrooms and lounge. The representative was very helpful and always available. Easy walking distance to restaurants such as Koyla and Terracotta Tales and two bazaars to the west. Tour companies had no problem finding the place for pickup. It's a short rickshaw ride to UniMart for a great selection of food. Just remember that it's going to take much longer than you think to get to a place using Uber or any other form of transport due to the insane traffic.

Ahmedus’ place was pristine—just as described on Airbnb! It’s modern, well-equipped, and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay, whether for a week or longer in Dhaka. Ahmedus is incredibly friendly, responsive, and always helpful whenever anything is needed. His staff is professional, attentive, and always ready to assist. I will definitely stay at his place again on my next visit to Dhaka. I’ve also shared his place with my family living abroad so they can experience the same level of comfort and amenities we’re used to overseas, right in Dhaka. The apartment where we stayed for the last five days was extremely well-organized. The host was very kind and responsive. The apartment is spacious enough for 5-6 people, with three bedrooms and four washrooms. The kitchen is well-equipped and suitable for preparing lunch or dinner for families. All the bedrooms, washrooms, dining, and living areas have well-functioning air conditioning and TVs. The apartment is fully equipped with everything needed for a group of travelers. The host and co-host have thoughtfully planned the interior decoration of the apartment. We are completely satisfied and will definitely come back.

Best place I've found in airbnb! Really comfy and felt right at home. The co-host is really friendly and very responsive. Feels like I'm talking to my big sister. The place is exactly like the pictures. This place is as good as it gets in Dhaka. The caretakers are also really nice. Perfect for a long term stay :)

Lovely little place very quiet and private. Host is just excellent and very helpful throughout my stay. Really really appreciate your hospitality and all the assistance you have given us. Very spacious flat on 16th Floor with aircon in every room washing machine etc V kind helpful host a must stay in Dhaka here either for business or tourism

This is a wonderful place. We had a great time. Mr. Mahmud and his staff were just marvelous. We would like to stay here again in the future.

There was enough space for three adults and a baby - actually three bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, and a dining room! Good location and we felt safe around. Great hosts and other people, we will remember all the guys with warmth. It's so good that there weren't any insects here (except for a few mosquitoes)! There are a couple of things I think you need to keep in mind. 5 stars for cleanliness but for the Indian style of cleaning, if you know what I mean. And since this is the first floor, we couldn’t open the curtains; so we didn’t have enough sunlight. And It's a little quieter in Gulshan. Anyway the apartment is great, the people are very helpful, we had a great time here and we highly recommend staying here, you definitely won't regret it!
