I booked the home for 6 adults and 2 kids, and we had a wonderful 5 day stay. We spent our days swimming in the pool (long enough for laps!); lounging by the pool drinking tea or reading or playing board games; indulging in the most delicious meals cooked by Manjula; listening to the waves crash on the beach that’s a small coconut grove away; or taking naps in the comfortable beds in our airy bedrooms, which were beautifully decorated. Evocative of the Geoffrey Bawa style (a Murad Ismail masterpiece), this style of home may be the best way to enjoy all that Sri Lanka offers. The garden is beautiful. We rarely saw any mosquitos (I still sprayed my kids), despite us spending most of our time in the open veranda/lounge by the pool. Manjula is an excellent chef and cooked a bday lunch for 20. All of my Sri Lankan relatives - the toughest food critics of all - loved his food. Crab curry, hoppers, kotthu roti, chicken curry done 3 ways, butter cake, we had it all! We hope to be back!

Lovely place with everything you need including a gas hob. Very helpful host who was keeping in touch on regular basis. Place is located only a short walk to the main street and the beach, yet is very peaceful. Chathura is very helpful and will do anything to make sure you are happy. We needed a taxi to the airport and he has arranged us a very good airport transfer for a better price then pick me or Uber. Definitely would stay again.

Nous avons passé 8 jours merveilleux dans la superbe maison de Nayan. si vous rêvez d'une superbe villa de 220 m2 sur la plage, au milieu des cocotiers, loin de la foule touristique,alors n'hésitez pas, venez chez Nayan. Pradeep et sa femme seront au petit soin pour vous, il se ferons un plaisir de faire vos courses , cuisiner vos repas, d'entretenir le jardin et la piscine. Martinez saura vous conseiller, que ce soit pour vos achats,vos déplacements,ou vos visites, vous n'avez plus qu'à vous laissez vivre. Merci à Nayan de m'avoir fait découvrir cet endroit paradisiaque, qui pour moi est la plus belle, la plus agréable, des 5 villas que nous avons loué pendant notre séjour de 6 semaines. C'est promis nous reviendrons.

amazing stay. very responsive host. the selling part is the amazing hospitable staff. they made us feel at home and were super kind. the staff made the experience of staying in this wonderful property heavenly.

Mango house was just perfect for our stay in Unawatuna. We felt very welcome from the beginning. The team was amazing and made our stay very special. Manoj was very good with communication and answered our questions/requests asap. The villa was very spacious, airy and very well maintained. We enjoyed our morning coffees in the upper veranda and breakfast was excellent with variable menu. I would also recommend to order lunch from the team; it was an unique experience. Beds were comfortable and nice showers with plenty of hot water. The location is a bit uphill, but nothing we couldn't manage. I would love stay here again some day.

We had a wonderful stay at Bianca and Dasun’s house at Weligama, the most perfect situation, you can walk straight onto the Beach. Bianca was very good at getting back to any queries we had and recommending places to eat. They have a TukTuk which Dinu or Dasun will drive you around in, in the local area. Breakfast was delivered every morning and they kindly did our laundry for us. We could not recommend it more, very lucky people who get to stay at Absolute Beach Villa

Dharshana’s place is in an absolutely beautiful spot, just a short walk from the beach. The location is so peaceful and perfect for anyone looking to escape and relax. The place itself is super clean, well-kept, and has all the amenities you’d need for a comfortable stay. What really makes it special, though, is Dharshana himself. He’s such a friendly and caring host, always easy to reach and happy to help with anything. You can tell he genuinely cares about making your stay enjoyable. If you’re looking for a place to kick back, unwind, and enjoy some beach vibes, this is it. Highly recommend!

È stato un soggiorno semplicemente fantastico. La villa è fantastica, attrezzata, vicino al mare e il personale è molto disponibile. Consigliatissimo a tutti, adatto a famiglie e amici. Siamo stati seguiti e ogni nostro desiderio si tramutava in realtà. Perfetto!

Cette maison est magique !!! Nous ne voulions pas partir! Un cadre exceptionnel avec des personnes exceptionnelles ! Et un grand merci à Dinesh qui est toujours présent et à la fois très discret pour toutes nos demandes!

Merveilleux séjour en famille !! La villa est exceptionnelle, la situation est parfaite, a proximité de restaurants et dans le quartier résidentiel de Mahdia a Mirissa ( a mon avis, le meilleur endroit pour séjourner). La présence d'Indika durant le séjour rend le séjour mémorable. extrêmement gentil, attentionné et discret il lui tient a cœur que les voyageurs puissent passer un séjour d'exception. Grâce a ces conseils et son aide durant le séjour nous avons pu nous relaxer et profiter au maximum de nos vacances en famille. Merci encore Indika !! Bella et Gaston les deux chiens de la maison sont également très discrets et sympathiques. Bref, Tout était parfait

Super lækker lejlighed med god udsigt og lækker pool. Relativt få muligheder for at spise i området, men vi fandt nogle okay steder ved stranden. Der er det der skal være i køkkenet til selv at lave mad, men heller ikke mere.

Très belle maison située face à la mer. Le jardin et la maison sont immenses. La maison est moderne, les chambres sont très confortables, encore mieux que sur les photos. il y a un gardien 24h/24 et une dame pour l'entretien tous les jours jusqu'à 16h. La maison est en retrait de Matara, c'est ce que nous voulions, 20 min à pied d'une très belle petite plage ou 5 min en tuk-tuk, 25 min en voiture de Welligama Un lieu bien reposant après toutes les visites.

We recently stayed at Indi Beach house for 9 days. It was nothing short of a little slice of heaven. We practically had the whole beach to ourselves. It's a lovely private spot with a 10 minute tuktuk to Galle and 20 mins to Hikkadua, so you still have all the hustle and bustle near by. With Arabella hotel next door and Sundan family Resturant a few doors down there was fantastic food options on our doorstep. Sundan family restaurant is particularly delicious and excellent service. The house itself is beautiful and really spacious given we were six adults and a baby. Nirman and his team took really good care of us. This is without a doubt my top stay on Airbnb so far.

Perfect for what we needed, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Staff were very kind and helpful. Ours room was spotless and just like the pictures.

We had the most wonderful family Christmas at Villa Olu. The villa exceeded our expectations - the photos don’t do it justice! It was the most perfect setting for relaxing, having fun, playing games and not to mention the incredible family meals prepared and cooked by Kumara and Nadi!Experiencing the delicious traditional Sri Lankan cuisine was a huge highlight. Kumara could not do enough to help us - book tuk tuks, arrange massages at the villa and arrange transport. The villa is incredibly peaceful yet only ten minutes from Galle where we enjoyed visiting shops, sites and cafes. We would not hesitate to stay at Villa Olu again, what a super family holiday!

We had a great time in the Villa, great location, the hostess was super friendly and the area was great! We enjoyed the pool everyday and it was much appreciated by our kids, since the breach has really high waves, having a privet pool was fantastic. Yes, the villa is really close to the train tracks but it only goes by from time to time so it did not bother us that much. We loved it!

Fantastic place, beautiful pool and gardens. So easy to flow right from living area to pool. Not right on the beach but access very easy through adjoining vacant property of same owners. Staff super attentive. Lovely village of Ballapitiya only 5 mins walk up a quiet lane way, with a multitude of eating options. We loved this village as we seemed to be the only tourists, locals genuine and friendly.

un vrai paradis ! avons eu du mal a quitter le logement. parc parfaitement entretenu ainsi que la piscine,maison accueillante et propre. avons demandé une option petit déjeuner qui était parfaite, réalisée par un gentil couple. proximité d'une très jolie plage de sable fin très peu fréquentée. Merci beaucoup nous aurions aimé prolonger notre séjour !

Ricky's place is simply wonderful - the house itself, the high ceilings and all the details, the view, the sunrise every morning, the breeze, the little Blue Beach nearby... The location is perfect - close enough to amazing beaches but still far enough from noisy, popular places. We had everything we needed and I only wish we stayed longer. Madu, who is assisting Ricky, is super helpful. He organized the airport transfer and then subsequent urgent transfer to the hospital in Matara because our little son got quite sick. Madu also gave us great tips for places to eat and beaches nearby. One of the cutest things was Mati - the dog of the property. My kids wanted to take Mati back home with us, and if we could, we would have - an amazing dog. We will be happy to be back one day and stay for a while. This airbnb feels like a home instantly.

What an absolutely amazing stay. The house is even better in person and Loku the caretaker is an absolute legend. He arranged a scooter for us, ordered tuk tuks, and his brother runs the juice bar down on jungle beach - everyone treated us like family. Absolutely incredible view, The Cliff restaurant is next door, and everything is super walkable in a beautiful neighborhood. Quick tuk tuk or scooter into town, over to Mirissa, or down to Ahagama. Do yourself a favor and stay, you won’t want to leave!

Good place for family holidays. They have a chef who will plate some amazing food.

Exactement ce que nous cherchions. Tranquille au milieu du monde. L'essentiel est là. Le plus a été de découvrir un blinder, ce qui nous a permis de déguster de bons jus tous les matins avec les bons fruits locaux. un régal, un séjour parfait. merci 🙏

We had an excellent 4 weeks at Gavins place. The local staff were wonderful. Damith, the caretaker, could not have been as accommodating. A very nice & obliging person.

We stayed in this lovely house as an end of our stay in Sri Lanka and it was perfect for relaxing days by the sea. The house is nice and there is a very cool bedroom outside of the house where the sunrise is awesome. the beach right in front of the house is nice but a little dirty. This is however the case in the entire country and Nilaweli and Upuweli beaches was more dirty than in front of our house. The house keeper is also very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend a stay in this villa for up to 6 people at once.
