This is an incredible place surrounded by nature. The rooms are amazing with some trees and really clean. I loved the open roof shower. Sam is a beautiful person that will make you feel like home and will help you with every doubt that you have about yoga, meditation and about life in general. I will try to come back for sure!!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and my daughters were excited to have their own little house! It was well set up with a restaurant across the road for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and also packed breakfast for the safari if needed. The hosts were very friendly and showed us lots of birds and animals in the lush garden. They also shared badminton nets and cricket bats for our daughters to play and put up big hammocks to relax in. They were able to arrange everything such as the safari tour, a trip to the local Buddhist temple and to see a colony of fruit bats, and a car to our next destination. I’d recommend going for the 6 hour safari as you can go a bit further into the park and not be around as many jeeps. We saw elephants, mongoose, monitor lizards, the giant Sri Lankan squirrel, crocodiles, wallowing buffalo and 20+ kinds of birds. Recommended as a place to stay near the safari park entrance.

What a magical place to stay. it was a really lovely experience and the manager and staff were all very helpful and friendly. Ashan arranged a safari for us and all of that went seamlessly. We wil definitely recommend Banyan Camp to others and will come back again for a longer stay if we return to Sri Lanka

Des plats cuisinés avec attention et qui vous feront découvrir les vraies saveurs sri-lankaises ! Des couchés et levés de soleil incroyables. Et un safari inoubliable ! Réserver le sans hésitations, et ne vous laissez pas influencer par les locaux ou votre driver, car ce lieu est magique ! Je me suis même réconciliée avec les araignées faucheuses et les grenouilles, devant cohabiter lors des passages à la douche et au sanitaire ! First of all Sam is very accomoddating, helpful and a great listener, he tries to help with any questions or problems you may have. The location is peaceful, beautiful nature, right in the jungle, you will wake with the birds and go to sleep with the sounds of the insects. All very genuine, the best place to do meditation, yoga or whatewer you are looking for to disconnect from the busy world. Hope to come back very soon!

I absolutely loved staying in this place. I ended up not wanting to leave Talalla, the family was so very welcoming and helpful. The local people are so nice and the beach is the most beautiful in Sri Lanka so far. The mud hut is totally authentic and super cute. Everything you need in the little kitchen. The beds are so comfortable and with a little reading light that gives off a relaxing light. Amazing Wi-Fi so I could contribute i a full day online meeting! A total hit this place - I can’t believe it isn’t fully booked at all times. Right next to the Talalla Resort that will let you partake in yoga if you do 5class pass. Amazing place truly.

Un endroit hors du temps, on se sent complètement coupé du monde Nous avons adoré exploré le lac en paddle et observer tous les singes Une chouette expérience à faire une nuit. La nourriture est excellente Nous reviendrons très certainement !

We had such a peaceful time at the Ashram. Bother Ben was so welcoming and I had some wonderful conversations as well as a lot of nice quiet time. A perfect reset, it was so hard to leave and I look forward to coming back some day. Really worth taking the time to stay here

- [ ] On ne sait pas par où commencer tant notre séjour était agréable. Après une nuit nuit au bundagalow.. nous avons décidé de rester une nuit de plus dans l’Harmony Bungalow. Un endroit hors du temps, au milieu de la nature ou règne le calme. Le personnel est au petit soin et nous a fait visiter les alentours. Un grand merci à Jaya pour sa gentillesse et sa bonne humeur! Il a répondu à toutes nos questions sur les plantations et récoltes des fruits du jardin. Su nous a déposé au temple et réservait nos tuktuk :) - [ ] Le petit plus est clairement la nourriture délicieuse le souper comme le petit déjeuné! Servi à l’heure de votre choix et vous pourrez goûter plusieurs plats à table! - [ ] En bref, foncez, et si vous avez besoin de calme et de repos, cet endroit est fait pour vous !!

Well how do I start this off... we had the greatest ever experience here with a top host named Rukmal. The hospitality provided was out of this world along with the food provided. If you are looking for a safari adventure like we was you are in great hands with Rukmal. He certainly knew his stuff well living in the wildlife for many years he filled us with great knowledge and inspiration. I’d highly recommend hiring out his clay hut for the night and perusing on to the beautiful safari only a few minutes away. We’d like to finish off by saying thank you so much and we’d love to book a camping stay out with you in the near future. Massive big ups to your fine self and let’s keep in touch! The perfect escape to immerse yourself in nature and tune-in to your surroundings. Everything was so thoughtfully crafted so as to blend in with the natural surroundings. Walking through the veg garden to the pool and restaurant area under the stars was beautiful. The pool stretching out over the wild shrubland, the edge of the lagoon just visible. The room was beautiful, I loved how simple yet luxurious it felt. The raw concrete, natural walls and beautiful Thale leaf roof. The ceramic water jug and cups were beautiful and I love that there was a candle provided (loved reading in the evenings by candle-light to the sound of birds!). I can't thank Chandara and Vasantu enough for making my stay so easy and for making me feel right at home. They were so considerate and open to sharing all their knowledge of the area and plants that were growing in the garden. The food was unbelievably good too! Will hopefully be back for more cuddles with Sulu and Suli soon!

Thilina ia a warm host. He makes you feel at home, is very attent and always ready to help. Earth house is a quite green heaven where birds feel save, lizards curiously come to check you. The place has a variety of special little corners. A refreshing swimming pool, a cool and neat house, a shady balcony, a fun outside kitchen, a fire place for cosy nights. A perfect place to chill
