Lovely property in the suburbs of Colombo! Perfect for a small group of friends and family of 4-5 people. Extremely spacious rooms with well thought out furniture and fittings and to top it all off a large patio to unwind and chill.

Lahiru and Piyushani are such lovely and warm people and their place is such a peaceful tropical oasis. Everything you could wish for is around this area, incredible beaches, food, temples and green tropics. They very kindly upgraded us to their villas which were just divine. Clean and airy with lovely spaces to sit and read all day…as we chose to do on multiple days. It has an amazing bed to sleep in and is very private and spacious. We ended up staying two weeks just because it felt like the perfect space to stop. They were caring in checking in and making sure everything was ok. Would stay here again and again and again. Paradise 🌴

A very stylish apartment with an amazing concrete design—almost every element is made of concrete, including the walls, bed base, nightstands, tables, and chairs. It looks really unique! The house is surrounded by lush greenery and is just a 15-minute walk from the beach. I loved strolling through the quiet, narrow streets. The apartment has everything you need for a long stay, making it very comfortable. The only downside is that it can get a bit noisy when tuk-tuks pass by on the road, but at night, the traffic is minimal. Overall, a great place to stay!

Am booked in for one week, only a five min walk to the beach. It’s ideally located and has a great open space garden area. You don’t hear any traffic only the sounds of mother nature. The room is spacious and the en suite bathroom has a nice shower. A kettle and basic crockery are provided. There’s ample storage space, plug sockets and space to hang your clothes. It’s very affordable and immaculately clean. The mattress is very comfortable and the ceiling fan keeps you cool throughout the night. There’s a washing machine on the property and the host is very accommodating and kind. The dogs greet you upon returning home. Chathura the host has expert knowledge of the surrounding area and is only too happy to assist you. He’s the consummate host, a well deserved five stars.

Incroyable maison encore mieux que sur les photos. Sasun s’est occupé du transfert depuis l’aéroport et nous a organisé de superbes excusions. Lui et son équipe nous ont fait nos repas pendant 10 jours, cuisine locale ou selon nos envies c’était le paradis. Incroyable équipe ❤️ Villa reculée et au calme dans la jungle, à 10 minutes en tuktuk des plus belles plages. Tout est facile avec des enfants de 6 et 9 ans nous sous sommes régalés. Upul’s beautiful property is the perfect location to unwind after a long flight. It’s close to the airport so we were sitting round the pool within a couple of hours landing. The lovely housekeeper Saja deserves a special mention as she was so helpful and kind and nothing was too much trouble. Saja cooked a delicious curry for us on our first night and on our second and final night we went just next door to the newly opened Crab Cove Restaurant which is highly recommended. Upul’s communication throughout was outstanding and he always responded to my many queries before and after we travelled sometimes within seconds! The property itself is stunning backing onto a lagoon and we took a boat trip out to Monkey Island which was very enjoyable especially as we were collected and dropped off at the bottom of the garden. It was the perfect place to get over our sleepless flight - a beautiful and peaceful location to start our Sri Lankan adventure. Thank you Upul, Saja and Gaya for everything!

We were so glad we booked our long stay apartment at Ravi and Rohini's place. It was a home away from home and we appreciated their kind hospitality and help throughout our stay. The apartment was very comfortable and also well located. The area is nice, safe and near the Crescat Mall and the Galle Face green- ideal for evening walks along the sea front. We couldn't have found a better 'home' in Colombo. Thank you Ravi and Rohini!

Umendra was an exceptional host. We had some delays upon landing and getting from the airport, Umendra was understanding and still greeted us at the apartment even though it was 4:30am. We really appreciated this. The apartment building was in a good area- felt very safe. There was a pool table and hot tubs in common areas as well as the 63rd floor pool having the most incredible views. There was a shop and bakery 2 minutes walk from the apartment, and a mall round the corner with a lot of shops, entertainment and food places. The park street news is about 10 minutes walk- felt safe in the night and there were great bars and restaurants there too.

The host is fantastic and very responsive.. it’s a great and a very quiet place to enjoy. We enjoyed the stay to the fullest

Der Aufenthalt bei Nalaka und seiner Familie war der beste meines Lebens! Wir verbrachten 30 Tage dort und genossen jede Sekunde. Nalaka und seine Frau Navisha sind unglaublich herzlich und aufmerksam, gaben uns das Gefühl, zur Familie zu gehören, aber auch genug Raum für Ruhe. Die Unterkunft liegt mitten im Dschungel, umgeben von sattem Grün, aber dennoch nah am Zentrum von Ahangama. Die Wohnung ist viel größer als auf den Bildern, makellos sauber und fühlt sich wie ein Fünf-Sterne-Hotel an. Besonders der Außenbereich und die Dachterrasse mit Blick auf spielende Affen waren Highlights. Nalaka ist zudem ein exzellenter Koch – besonders empfehlenswert sind die Deviled Kalamari und die Villa Kingford Soup. Für uns ist er mehr als ein Gastgeber, er ist ein wahrer Freund geworden. Wir kommen garantiert wieder! Ein riesiges Dankeschön an Nalaka, Navisha, Satheesha und Namadhi – eure Gastfreundschaft war unvergesslich!

Grateful to have this stay at Havelock City - close to so many helpful shops and food court, amenities, etc., for our final days in the country. The place was a generous size, well maintained, great common spaces and bedrooms, very secure and wonderful location. Highly recommend for a family or small group! Thanks for hosting us!

Our stay at Pramod's place with my family was fantastic! He is truly an incredible host, always attentive to our needs and ready to help with anything we required. His kindness and generosity exceeded all expectations, from assisting with our late check-in due to a delayed flight to helping us organize various trips around the area. The apartment is fantastic, always clean and located in a convenient area for any interest. I highly recommend staying with him so an unique experience !

El apartamento es cómodo, grande y tal cual lo imaginaba con las fotos que publica. Esta en una zona de fácil acceso y pude aparcar mi coche en la puerta. Caminando esta bien conectado para ir a restaurantes o supermercado. Dentro el apartamento fue perfecto para 4 pax. Tiene dos habitaciones y dos los baños en suite. Nosotros pasamos la noche y salimos muy temprano de viaje. Poco disfrutamos de la estancia. Muchas gracias por las recomendaciones. Saludo!

I wasn't planning on going land inward, but the Lion's rock did not let me go. Finding this place on Airbnb gave me the final push to head up North. There are no words to describe how much heart and soul Madawa has put into creating this place. His fingerprints are found on every inch of the property. To me, he is the embodiment of a true artist, co-creating with nature, bringing his artistic touch into everything, being present in the moment, bringing attention to all the things he does. To me, staying at this place left a more precious memory in my heart than the actual Lion's rock. I honestly wish I could have stayed longer, since this place is truly magical!

I’m travelling solo and this place was just perfect for me, right in the heart of beautiful lush greens and small rivers, I had a wonderful time. It’s very secluded and I enjoyed that, definitely a place for nature lovers in the sense that, you’re in nature lol. Lots of sitting space and there is an a/c inside which is definitely needed. Vinodh and his wife provided snacks, water, milk, juice, and tea, what a hospitable host, I literally cannot say enough about them. He always answered me, helped arrange activities, and he made me an Incredible spread for breakfast ( which I really miss now). I have to mention, the river safari he arranged for me was on of the highlights of my trip so far, I highly recommend it, DANESH WAS THE BEST!! Just book it, you won’t regret it

I’ve stayed at many Airbnb’s and this may be my favorite. It’s serene, right in nature, yet extremely comfortable. They get me anything I need, food, water, etc. The bed is comfy, the middle glass room is my favorite, to write and meditate and stare at the eagles. The kitchen has everything you need. This place is perfect if you want an escape. If you want time to just be with yourself and loved ones. I feel really blessed to have found this space. It’s exactly what I needed for this point in my life. 5 stars across the board. I hope you get to experience the magic of this Airbnb.

Shimali is a very caring host, always prepared to go the extra mile to look after her guests. She went out of her way to provide us with little extras, such as tea and coffee, and we also enjoyed one of her delicious meals. She is an excellent cook! Shimali's husband and son also made us feel very welcome, and took the time to guide us around the local area. It was a very nice introduction to Sri Lanka, and we are sure to book Shimali's cottage again if we come back.

We had a lovely time. We stayed at the cottage. The property is lovely and the meals are great. We enjoyed the beautiful natural pools that are very nearby, and if you are in Ella for hikes and nature, this is a great place to stay. But if you want to be near the train station and town, you may want to look somewhere there. This is in the mountains, which is what we were looking for.

We had an amazing stay at Charles’s place. Location was beautiful with amazing views of lake Gregory. Super close to the Town centre. Devi the caretaker was super kind and friendly and extremely helpful. This place is ideal for longer stays. Charles gave us lot of local recommendation’s of things to visit , do and eat. We highly recommend this place.
