We have just returned after our second stay at the villa,it is still as peaceful as ever,we thoroughly enjoyed the visiting wildlife.Domica and her family who look after the villa and gardens are very friendly and helpful and do an exceptional job .Kintoo the owner is easy to contact and replies very quickly to any communications The villa is as per description as others have stated,it is very well equipped. It is excellent value . We are in the process of arranging our next visit that is how much we love the villa and the surrounding area. Thank you Kintoo for allowing us to stay at your villa

The apartment itself is well equipped and has an amazing view of the city. It's close to most attractions but a car is still needed to get around. I would highly recommend this place. The host is also super responsive and helped me organize a driver around the city and to my next destination.

“It’s the people who matter. Caretaker Mark and his family made us feel home from the instant we reached this place. These were some of the most humble people I’ve ever met. I was traveling with a 2yr old who wasn’t feeling well, Mark got medicines for us even late in the night. One of the highlight was the bonfire and dinner setup around it which made the stay extra special for us. The homecooked food was so amazing that we ended up eating at home on all days! Staywise- The villa is not luxurious but is functional. Location is at the centre with most attractions nearby.

Dana and Praba were great! Dana was a responsive, very helpful, and lovely host. Praba was so sweet and her food and hospitality was incredible! The location and beauty of the surroundings were amazing and relaxing. I hope I am able to return again someday. Thanks for everything Dana and Praba!

Sanjaya is een geweldige host!! Niets is te veel om te regelen; van treinkaartjes tot tuk tuk, van hulp bij ‘ hoe werkt dit nou’ tot het brengen van een heerlijk ontbijt Hij stond meteen voor ons klaar. Kleine details maken een verblijf in deze prachtige villa net ff waardevoller. Ook het personeel is zo vriendelijk en attent. De rust, het uitzicht, de mooie kamers en de tuin maken het plaatje compleet. Helaas voor ons waren we hier maar één nacht. Mocht je een plek zoeken in Nuwara Eliya dan is deze villa zeker aan te bevelen!! Ik zeg gaan!!!!

We had an amazing stay at Charles’s place. Location was beautiful with amazing views of lake Gregory. Super close to the Town centre. Devi the caretaker was super kind and friendly and extremely helpful. This place is ideal for longer stays. Charles gave us lot of local recommendation’s of things to visit , do and eat. We highly recommend this place.

A quiet and spacious place close to the market and town center, with some pleasantly friendly (not overfriendly) dogs in the lovely garden. Food delivery is available and groceries are a short walking distance away. Internet was patchy. The washing machine was useful. Overall, a lovely bnb.

We spent a delightful three days in this beautiful home, steeped in Sri Lankan history and tradition. The staff, headed by Pathi cooked us the most delicious meals, including meals where we sourced food from the local market. Pathi went out of his way to make us feel at home and completely pampered us. Not only is StonyHurst a perfect place to relax after the heat of the coast, it is a good springboard for visiting high tea estates, as well as playing golf at the course in Nuwara Eliya. We will cherish our memories from our stay.
