I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb while visiting New Orleans! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—close to all the action but in a quiet area that allowed for a good night’s rest. The host was incredibly responsive. I truly felt at home and would absolutely stay here again on my next visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay in NOLA!

My wife and I stayed in Laplace during an extended visit to our grandchildren nearby. This house was perfect for us. It is very clean with mostly modern appliances. There was no dryer listed by Airbnb, but there was a dryer in the unit that appeared to be older than the other appliances but worked well. There are two large King bed primary suites and two smaller queen bedrooms. Upstairs there is a large TV room. Outside there are motion detectors. The neighborhood is very quiet and private. Overall this is a very nice place for a south Louisiana stay.

This was a beautiful house, and the host was very nice. It looked exactly like the photos. We were in town for Mardi Gras, and this ended up being the perfect distance to be out of the crazy city, but easy to drive in every day. The area was beautiful, and I highly recommend if you’re looking for a good spot out side of the city to explore LA.

I was beyond pleased with my experience. Patricia was an incredible host. Communication was top notch. She was concerned about every aspect of my stay and checked in frequently. The little bungalow is ADORABLE. Close to everything! The airport, my son's home in St. Rose, and also downtown New Orleans. It was spotless, easy to access, and the neighborhood felt safe and was, most importantly for me, quiet. I was worried about staying in a hotel during Mardi Gras because of the noise. I can't say enough about how pleased I was with my stay. The value was honestly far better than staying at a hotel. I loved the peaceful outdoor space out back. Everything was comfortable and thoughtfully done. Check in/out was simple and straightforward. I won't hesitate to book again for my next visit. Already planning on it. Thank you for a great stay and I'll look forward to the next one!

Love this place a lot of space comfortable

We had a very nice stay; the house and grounds were immaculate, and as shown. They had two outdoor dining tables which are great for outdoor dining, four lounge chaises, and four Adirondack chairs. We enjoyed being outside on the pool deck in the afternoon after a day of touring. The pool was cold as expected, although, I know the hosts are planning a pool heater in the near future. The inside of the home was very cozy and welcoming, but still quite spacious. The hosts were welcoming and responsive. Great stay! Thanks again!

The house was very comfortable and clean and in a great neighborhood. Easy to access the city or relax in the house. Short walk to Tulane to visit campus. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks!

Alleshia's place was perfect for our group of 9 people. We were in a different neighborhood than the usual tourist-laden streets of New Orleans providing a haven after a day of exploring the city. Alleshia was a quick and clear communicator, made check in and checkout super easy, and the place was clean and spacious. I'd recommend staying here for sure.

Our family found Historic Getaways to be a nice place to stay that was within walking distance of the French Quarter. It was a pretty, quant neighborhood. The backyard was very pretty, and a great place to enjoy fellowship after it got dark. The house itself was not as well lit as it appeared in the display photos, it often felt rather dark inside, but the beds were comfortable and the furniture was rather aesthetically appealing. It also had plenty of room for a family of six. If you have a larger family and you are visiting NOLA, I would recommend giving this place a try!

We stayed at this lovely home for a family Thanksgiving get-together. This home was perfect for our family. We know New Orleans well, and we appreciated the quiet location that is still central to most New Orleans attractions. The best thing about this house is the owners, Phil and Lydia. There were some issues during our stay. A shower head needed repair and a workman had turned the gas supply to the range off. Phil and Lydia were remarkably quick to reply and to get these problems taken care of quickly. They usually answered within minutes when we messaged them through Airbnb. The outdoor and pool area is lovely. The kitchen is very well equipped. We love the mid-century interior-so much character! Overall this is a beautiful home and a very good choice for anyone spending time in New Orleans.

We absolutely loved our stay here! I traveled with my 3 daughters aged 22, 19 & 12. As you can imagine, we can be hard to please but we all agreed that this house was PERFECT for us. The neighbors have chickens which we all enjoyed thoroughly while hanging on the front porch. The back patio is gorgeous & very private. We had great luck w/ the next door tenants who had kids for my youngest to swim with. Pool was warm & felt so good after a long day walking around! Beds were comfy! We all slept better than any of us have in a long time! We are fan sleepers but left our fans behind. A quick message to Aleks though on our way down & there were fans waiting on us when we arrived! We are planning to return when the beloved Nic Cage passes to pay our respects & will be booking here again!!!!

Came for mardi gra! It was an easy walk to St Charles Ave where we saw the parade! During a not so busy season it would be incredibly easy to get around town from this area!

Overall an amazing stay, felt at home everything you could think of they had ready to go. They were extremely helpful. We had issues heating the pool & they responded fast and sent the pool man to help us. Super clean great home even with toddlers. The neighborhood was nice and peaceful, driving distance to french quarter was no more than 20 min. Great communication with host and response time was good.

We had a great stay in Denise's house. It was perfect for our short getaway with well-appointed kitchen and bathrooms, plus it was all kitted for our dog as well. The property is off the beaten path but that was precisely what we wanted. A quiet neighborhood only broken by the occasional passing train. We would definitely return again. Denise was very prompt and attentive with her communications. Highly recommended.

Wonderful spacious apartment space with loads of amenities and only a block from the river. Near the airport and train tracks but I never heard planes or trains and it was very quiet! So nice to see the ponies and horses every time I drove in and out. I really enjoyed my stay and recommend this Airbnb if you’re looking for something a little outside of the city.

This place is great! Our family of 4 loved it especially out 6 year old and 13 year old. Mason & Austin’s family were friendly, helpful and communicative host. Their Dad and my husband talked a bit while our youngest wanted to check out the pool and he was helpful in suggesting places to eat. My son would love to fly back just to stay at the Airbnb and to go to the Seafood Pot again! As an airline worker who loves to travel we would definitely stay here again!

Super place, the balcony was a surprisingly nice touch. The parking has me worried (description sounded like it was down the road) before I got there and realized it was right near the door; it was just the access to get behind the unit was a couple of units away. Modernized, clean, quiet, and the ac was super!

We had a great time here. Everything was clean and he had everything needed to cook in the kitchen and he even had laundry detergent for us to use. It wasn’t far from New Orleans, it was the perfect distance from the busy city life. Neighborhood was quiet. Benjamin was really friendly and gave us lots of great recommendations!

Trevor is literally the best host I’ve had he’s very welcoming nd sweet. If it’s your fist time in Louisiana he will fill you in on what’s around the city and make sure you have a great time

Very nice home and am planning on booking again. Very clean, comfortable and easy to get to. Easy access to everything in New Orleans and surrounding areas. Well worth staying here!

The house was exactly as described and very clean. The owner was very responsive. The yard was big, and our dogs loved it. Would stay again if the opportunity arises.
