Pros: - Great Location:The property is situated in an excellent location, making it easy to access local beaches and shops. - Access to Three Pools: Guests have the luxury of choosing from three nice pools, perfect for relaxation and fun. - Well-Stocked Kitchen: The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to cook meals during your stay. - Washer/Dryer: The availability of a washer and dryer, along with provided laundry pods, made it convenient to keep clothes clean. - Coffee Pods Included:Complimentary coffee pods were a nice touch, adding to the convenience of the stay. -Extra blankets: my kids love throw blankets. Cons: - Missing Pool and Beach Toys: The listing mentioned that pool and beach toys would be available , but they were not available. There were 2 rusty dirty beach chairs. - There is a spigot, but no hose. We really wanted to bring our dogs to the beach to play in the , we chose not to bc access to the hose was not ideal to clean them.

High School teen describes it as, “good, beachy vibes”. A private balcony off the master bed with its own bathroom!! Each room with a large TV, each room has its own bathroom! Lots of space, right by the pool. Very quiet and right by the beach!! Just walk across the street!

honestly, the BEST get away. the home had EVERYTHING we needed, location and amenities had all we wanted(and back up plans). home was comfortable, private, clean. had extra towels. hot tub was HOT once heated up (been to TOO many places where this is a BIG disappointment... so A Thank You). this place was better than advertised and Melanie was so helpful!

We really enjoy the peace and quiet at Barefoot Cottages. Port St. Joe and Windmark Beach is our favorite place to visit in FL. Thank you William for sharing your beautiful home and your hospitality.

St Joe holds so many special memories for me and my family and when the idea of short getaway to ring in the new year came up I immediately started searching the area. After sharing a few details with Jennifer about the trip everything just fell into place. Jennifer is fabulous host and in my opinion representative of all the people that make up that great community.

Great location in PSJ. About 2 minute drive to the closest beach, 5 minutes from downtown PSJ with its shops and restaurants, and 50 feet from the community pool and hot tub. The house was exactly as described. Very clean, and Allie responded promptly to all our questions. Barefoot Cottages, the beaches, and many restaurants are all dog-friendly! We would stay here again.

Had a wonderful experience at Bernie’s place. It was extremely clean and well maintained. A beautiful location and he was a great host that was very responsive to any questions I had. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a great beach experience.

I had forgotten my phone inside the house and forgot the code, My husband had to text and ask Mary for the code and instantly she texted us back, which was so helpful. The house also had a very beachy vibe to it that we enjoyed.

My wife and I loaded up the Poodle and had a great 3 night stay at the Oyster House. The Private dock is incredible, and the place is cozy with tons of “beach vibe” objects all around, both inside and out. Amanda was amazing through the entire process. The house is right on the water and far enough out of town that you truly feel like you have the entire bay to yourself when you relax on the back porch or the dock. So serene.

An absolutely lovely & charming cottage surrounded by state forest and just 5 minutes from the shore. Spotless & well-equipped. The sun streams in through the windows - tons of nature all around. If you're looking for quiet & seclusion with all the comforts of home, this is the place! I definitely hope to return. It's the "old Florida" - not a McMansion on pylons! Great laundry & 1.5 baths. Check out the stars on a clear night - they're super bright. But be forewarned - nearest grocery store is Crawfordsville or Carrabelle (a very nice IGA).. Google showed some other grocery stores but they had closed. Make sure to drive Rte. 98 which hugs the coast most of the way to Apalachicola. Super scenic. Lovely bike trail from Mashes Sands Beach to Sopchoppy.

I wanted a getaway for Fall Break with my youngest daughter at the Beach. My oldest daughter recommended Barbara’s place and it was perfect for us. It was bright, clean and cozy. We were mere steps away from our favorite place- the beach! The town is quaint and quiet and not over run with college kids. The people we met were warm and welcoming. We enjoyed a stroll down Main Street and wandering into the little shops. The White Marlin offered us a magnificent view of a stunning sunset along with a top tier dining experience. This a MUST if you want a quiet escape.

Cute cottage! Beth was super responsive and helpful! My family and I evacuated from hurricane Milton! We had to extend our stay and Beth responded within minutes and made the process so easy!

I enjoyed my time at Phish Heads cottage. Having neighbors in the nearby cottages was just the right amount of social interaction; yet, the scenery and nature were the highlights. So nice to jump between bay fishing and beach fishing in a short walk. Not biting? Just walk over to the other side of the peninsula. Cottage was clean and bed comfortable. Kitchen could use some more utensils. It was nice to find a second key indoors, clearly labeled as an additional key. I think I’ll be returning to Scallop Cove Villas.

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the area. It is super convenient to multiple beaches and lots of great restaurants! Super easy to get downtown and browse as well

Absolutely loved our stay! Would go back in a heart beat! The home was beautiful and we loved the area! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The beach was walkable but there is a place to park if you wish. We ate out most meals and tried various local places- no disappointments!! We also loved walking the shops in Port St. Joe and also loved going to TH Stone Memorial state park for a day! Allison sent information prior to our arrival about the home and check in which was very helpful! 12/10 would recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Ashley's place in Mexico Beach. We loved the easy walk to the beach (and not having to cross a busy street). We saw some great wildlife including a large pod of dolphins one morning. The cottage is comfortable and clean. We hope to come back sometime!

I always look at Linda's places when I'm visiting nearby family and I've never been disappointed. This house is so gorgeous and secluded, the screened in porch is incredible to relax on. Panacea is a nice, quiet, laid back area and fairly close to the beach. The house is comfortable and has everything you need for a great stay. I highly recommend checking out Linda's Airbnbs if you are in the area.

It was a beautiful place, right on the bay. We had a little snafu with the AC on the first day, but they came right out that night and took care of it for us. The cottage has great character… old Florida with modern updates. We would stay here again.

Nick’s place was in a great location. It’s on a quiet street, but the beach is only a block away. Caribbean Coffee, which had great coffee, pastries & breakfast sandwiches, was just around the corner. There was also a very cute gift shop, Tortuga Moon, next to the coffee shop. We also appreciated the fenced yard for our dogs. Nick was very accommodating & answered all of our questions.

Susan's cottage is so cute!!! It's more spacious than the photos indicate, which was great, and the decor was so cute! The kitchen appliances are all updated and fancy, and Susan provides so many kitchen utensils and tools, which made Thanksgiving prep so easy. The cottage is secluded in clearing in the woods, and the host lives onsite right next door, but this wasn't a turn off to us at all. Super quick and easy trip to get into town and Susan was so so gracious when I accidentally booked for the wrong week and had to change my reservation. Thank you for hosting us!!!

Cheri's place was fantastic, we loved it!! First of all the location couldn't be beat. The only way you could be closer to the beach (which is gorgeous by the way and completely visible from anywhere you would want to have or make a cup of coffee within the house) is if you were physically camping on it. We walked it at dusk and dawn and one night saw both dolphins and a sting ray swimming from the shore. The house itself had every possible thing we could think of amenity wise, we were all blown away by the level of thought and attention to detail that went into making sure anything we might need was nearby (beach supplies, games, heck even a telescope and let me tell you the stars were beautiful at night). Cheri was wonderful as a host and constantly in touch with me/very quick to respond, very thoughtful as well, we had small children with us who were visiting the beach for the first time and she helped make the trip very special for them. 😊

Host was very helpful and kind! We had an issue with our uhaul getting stuck and they were so friendly about it.
