My wife and I enjoyed our stay immensely. This beautiful cabin is located right on a scenic lake....the sunsets are to die for! The neighborhood is extremely quiet, so we slept soundly. If you like hiking, this is the place for you, as numerous miles of hiking trails are within a short drive of the cabin. The hosts were very friendly and allowed us extremely early check-in, which we greatly appreciated after a long drive to Wisconsin's great outdoors. The cabin is very spacious, and the kitchen has everything you need if you like to cook, as we do. We would definitely stay here again.

Quiet, cozy, pretty neighborhood and great for walking the dog. Very clean. Comfy space, nice kitchen, bed was comfortable. Great access tot he lake and pretty view. Overall nice spot.

We loved this cabin! We came to get away from it all and spend time as a family. The kids loved the hot tub and if they weren’t there, they were playing arcade games. We grabbed candy and popcorn from the candy store in town. Then went back to the cabin and watched a movie. Definitely will be going back.

Enjoyed are stay to go snowmobiling with the Family. Everyone was able to fit in one place which is hard to find. Host was friendly and easy to communicate with.

Ben is an amazing and very kind host! The lodge and the property is stunning and very spacious!! We loved the decor in every room. The kitchen is very well stocked and coffee pots/coffee are provided. I'm not sure I read anything about there being coffee when I booked our stay so maybe this can be added to the listing. Thank you Ben for ensuring that our stay was top notch! We had a wonderful time!!

I grew up visiting Sunset Lake as a kid and it was so wonderful to be back on the lake. I'd never stayed in any of the Sunset Lake Cabins before, but my partner and I were very happy with our stay. The cabin was perfect and we are already planning on coming back soon! 5/5

Hazel Hill was the perfect setting for a photographers retreat! The home itself is gorgeous, light-filled, and cozy - we loved the in-floor heating in the concrete floors. It made the home just so warm and inviting during the snowy winter weekend. The home was also impeccable and so clean when we arrived... And Brooke left us the cutest welcome basket with lots of goodies and treats! The property is stunning as well with gorgeous views all around. Our group enjoy the hike to the top of Timm's Hill (once we figured out how to get there!). The one thing we didn't get to take advantage of was the outdoor sauna - which is wood burning. No one in our group had experience starting a wood burning fire so we weren't successful at it going. There were plenty of other activities for us though, so it was fine! We highly recommend staying at Hazel Hill and would rent it again in a heartbeat!

We were there for snowmobile trip. He answered all questions we had. close to trail and good parking. great view of the lake.

Need a dog friendly place for my work trip, and this was the perfect place. So beautiful and cozy. Also just a short walk from a great bar!

Tim and Roxanne were the nicest hosts we’ve ever dealt with and their place is truly spectacular. It was a privilege to stay there. It is beautiful, peaceful and such an idyllic setting! They also keep their place in tip top shape and have everything you could ever need available for you. Hammocks, boats, bikes… whatever you need. We’ve stayed at a ton of rentals up north as well as internationally, and none come close to staying with Tim and Roxanne at their place. Plus, the lake is pristine and private to the twenty some property owners that have a home on it. Great fishing, clear water and even some sandy spots. Oh, and Al Capone’s brother owned a house on this lake, so there’s a lot of cool history too. So glad we found this place…. Thanks Tim and Roxanne!

Such a beautiful home! Location was very beautiful. Wood burning furnace on a cold snowy night in the living room was amazing. Gorgeous bird watching and beautiful trees. Lake access is really convenient. We enjoyed cross country skiing on the lake right from the patio. Thanks for having us!

This house on lake Thompson exceeded our expectations! Dani and Chris have a beautiful property right on the lake, fully stocked with all the comforts of home. Playground and kayaks were a bonus and all the neighbors in the area were lovely! We hope to return to Rhinelander again soon!

I booked this place for a group of family and friends (12 total). Jeff did everything to ensure that I had a smooth check-in experience and that I was well-informed about the property and area. The driveway was long enough to fit our 6-7 vehicles, plus we could've had another 2-3 by the lake. The 5 entry points on the 1st floor made unpacking and packing a breeze. As people arrived they were very impressed with the luxurious cabin feel. I heard the word "wow" probably a hundred times. I most appreciated all the little things. All of the light switches were labeled. There was a Wi-Fi booster with Ethernet ports and HDMI cable hanging from the TV, so it took seconds to set up my travel router and Roku box. The take a beer leave a beer fridge. We went in March so it was very quiet. I didn't see any neighbors and we had almost the entire lake to ourselves for ice fishing. I'm sure that's very different in the summer. Plenty of activities inside and outside.

This was the second year we stayed here, and we were excited to return. The cabin is just beautiful, and was equipped with everything we needed - and more. It was such a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The lake setting was perfect. Lovely lake, and yard, and so peaceful and private. Grocery store, pharmacy, and nice restaurants conveniently located in nearby Tomahawk. Highly recommend!!

We got to celebrate Christmas and it was full of fun and great memories. The beautiful house and area made it even more magical! We had a few questions during our stay and host was very responsive even over the Holidays. Would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful week. The cabin was beautiful and provided everything we needed for our large family. You can tell the owners take a great deal of pride in their home and providing a great experience for their clients. The kids/grandkids loved the many water toys (kayaks, paddle boat, lilly pad, etc.) that were provided for our use. The outside areas are just beautiful and we enjoyed a campfire each night during our stay. The cabin provided a number of different living areas and the grandkids especially loved the basement and the toys that were provided. Communication with the owner was incredible. He was so helpful with any questions/concerns we had and made our stay seamless. We loved everything about our stay and give it our highest recommendation.

This was a great cabin fully loaded with things to do during our stay. The layout is fantastic for large families/couples. Everything was provided ahead of time so I didn’t need to communicate with the hosts. I appreciated this host for the very light and manageable check-out list. We weren’t scrambling to complete extra chores before check out.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The home was incredibly well-equipped, especially the kitchen. The beds were high quality and very comfortable, which made for a very comfortable nights sleep. The amenities throughout the house were thoughtful and made the stay even more enjoyable. The host was fantastic—checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and responding quickly to any questions we had. Their hospitality really made a difference. The location was perfect for our winter trip. Being right on the lake made it super easy to take the side-by-side out for ice fishing. Access was simple, and the setting was beautiful and peaceful. Great place for a winter getaway with a group!

The property is spectacular. Amenities galore and very clean and spacious. Great host and would definitely do it again here.

We stayed here just after Christmas for a snowmobiling trip. Unfortunately there wasn’t snow, but Amy and the property manager, Taylor, were very helpful and responsive with ideas of things for us to do in Eagle River. The location of the house is perfect for restaurants, bars, entertainment, and trails (had we been able to snowmobile). The house had lots of space for our group to hang out together but also have privacy. The only thing worth mentioning is the full bathroom in the basement with the jacuzzi tub is not a shower, so those of us in the two downstairs bedrooms that weren’t the en-suite had to borrow the bathrooms in the en suite. There is a tiny shower in the main floor we could have used as well, but we all opted for sharing. The fire pit by the lake was nice. The owners nicely provided dry firewood for our use. Overall, wonderful stay!

This was such a beautiful stay with an immaculate view and lake access! The home was so clean and had everything we needed for our group to have the perfect homey stay!

I would recommend Beni's place for families or larger groups, especially if you want to do some fishing or boating. Great host and very nice home!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! It was the perfect getaway for our family. The location was peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature and a crystal clear lake (literally), which made it a great escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life back home. The cabin itself was expansive, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed sitting by the bonfire at night and fishing and swimming during the day. We’ll definitely be back for another stay!
