Martha’s place is very nice a cozy. Local to the town as well as out of the way so you feel some seclusion. The apartment was clean and tidy with clear instructions with a handy welcome booklet. Handy free parking space which helped massively. Martha was very friendly and responsive and was a delightful stay. Finding the apartment was not very easy. I struggled with the instructions but found it eventually. It could do with some lighting outside to help navigate the steps but my phone torch worked just as well. I really enjoyed my stay as did my dog was really nice with plenty to do within walking distance and short driving distance lots of dog friendly beaches, restaurants, cafes and shops.

Fabulous location.!!!!!! Short walking distance to all that the centre of St Ives has to offer The view from the window is unbeatable and as you are so near to the seas edge we slept with the window slightly open so as to listen to the restful waves when going to sleep at night Had all the amenities we looked for during our stay and would not hesitate to recommend or return to in the future Just a couple of minor issues to be aware of : Parking at the nearby Island is difficult. It seemed to be full most of the time and for most of the time people were waiting for a space to park The Wi-Fi isn’t great- only really useable in the lounge (and then not all the time) But don’t let this put you off ….you won’t regret booking a stay here and there are some great restaurants practically on your doorstep !

Stayed for 4 days for my wife's 40th birthday, the apartment was easy to find with parking permit available, front door is however on a main road but we were aware of this due to knowing the area. Kitchen was well equipped for our stay, our bed and the our sons beds were very comfy. Big telly with netflix and NowTV and warming log burner. Location was close to transport links (bus and trains), 10 minutes walk to Gilbert's beach bar and salt bar, local pub across the road and numerous takeaways (including a Chinese and domino's) within walking distance. Asda supermarket and Lidl 5 minute drive away

We have had a lovely 5 day stay. The apartment was extremely clean and tidy with everything you needed and more for it to feel like home. The views were beautiful from every window and I spent most my time in the apartment peacefully watching the world go by. Perfect location with Fistral beach 4/5 minutes to the right and town 5-10 minutes to the left. Being dog friendly meant to the world to us and everything being so local and dog friendly made our stay so easy and enjoyable. We will definitely be back in the near future. We had a fabulous week at Goose Rock. The apartment is simply stunning with everything you could want for a comfortable stay. The view out the living room, over Crantock beach, is amazing. Location is great, very peaceful with great walking and a choice of several beaches on the doorstep, and two places to eat just around the corner. I honestly couldn’t fault Valérie’s apartment, and hope to visit again later in the year.

Lovely clean and homely property. Had everything you need for a comfortable stay - including welcome bottle of milk, tea, coffee and even a bag of fudge! Amazing views! Loved this place and would highly recommend. The hosts are very responsive and provide lots of information on the local area. The property is exactly as described and beautifully decorated. Very cosy with a homely feel.

What a great find! It was a perfect place to stay whilst away on business, being quiet, spacious and bright. Conveniently located a short walk from shops and restaurants, and a short drive to great surfing beaches this area has to offer. The owners were responsive and the instructions to access the property (which is a bit tucked away if you don’t know where you’re going) were easy to follow. I’ll definitely be back, thanks for hosting!

We had a great half term break. The accommodation was clean, bright, fresh and had everything we needed. Perfect location. We would definitely recommend !

Paulina has thought of everything to make the stay a comfortable and stress free. easy access to the department, clear and war, communications and a very well equipped and very clean apartment. Unusually, the kitchen and bathrooms were very well equipped, kitchen towel, dishwasher tablets, cleaning materials just everything. In addition, Paulina, dropped round some fresh milk. Definitely a super host! There was space, as it happened to park on the road just nearby. The apartment is a few minutes walk, through a park, to the museum and art gallery and in easy of the town centre, sea front and also Newlyn. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay in this apartment. It was very stylish and comfortable, although lacking some things which may have been useful, e.g. wine glasses, shower gel, salt and pepper etc. The location was beautiful and it was great to be walking distance to St Ives high street and beaches.

Fabulous apartment with breathtaking views across Newlyn. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless. The car parking space was great and a rare find in Newlyn. Penny was super responsive and very friendly. I would highly recommend this beautiful accommodation and definitely return.

Unfortunately I had to cancel my first day. Wish I didn’t have to, it was so relaxing, everything in the annex that you need. Shower was lovely and hot. Lovely even this time of year to sit outside for morning coffee. Perfect for my Dog and I for a few days get away.

great location. quiet flat. short walk to a great beach and to a pool and tennis court on site. the flat had everything you need. the main bedroom was particularly nice.

We stayed at Neil's place in Newquay, Cornwall, and it was absolutely fantastic! Initially, we spoke to Neil, but Steve, the manager, took over and made the process seamless. We booked this last-minute stay on New Year’s Eve for the same night, and they were incredibly accommodating to make it happen for us. The apartment was pristine, luxurious, and in an amazing location with stunning views. Watching the NYE fireworks over the harbour from our balcony was such a special treat. It truly felt like a home away from home. We usually stay in Perranporth, but this place has now become our new favourite. It completely trumps our previous go-to! We can’t wait to come back again and highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks so much, Neil and Steve, for making this New Year’s our best in a long time! Craig

A fantastic place to stay beautiful property, spotlessly clean and brilliant amenities. Everyone was super friendly and helpful with any queries. Location is perfect for the beautiful beach and village. Our family had the most amazing holiday and highly recommend a stay at Bassets Acre.

Can’t say enough positive things about this place. Nicola was a brilliant host - super responsive and helpful, and provided a great list of stuff to do around Falmouth. You’re right on the beach and 5 minutes walk from the main drag in the town. Couldn’t ask for more. The flat was clean, well lit, everything worked perfectly and the bed was excellent. Will definitely be back!

All four of us enjoyed our stay at 17 The Crags. The apartment was lovely and the surroundings were so peaceful. All you could hear was the sound of the sea in the cove below. We appreciated the extra care taken to make sure that everything we needed for our stay was available in the apartment. We really enjoyed the leisure centre which was not overcrowded even though this is the peak summer holiday season. Thanks to Melanie and the team for providing us with a great place to stay for the week.

We had a lovely stay at Kirsten and Bens flat. Loved the view and the beach themed decor. Had everything we needed, spacious and perfect location. The hosts are absolutely lovely and very responsive. Really recommend this place and will be coming back!
