I stayed at Cathy's beautiful studio while in town to work the Super Bowl. I was immediately impressed with the appeal of both the pool and interior decor of the studio. I thoroughly enjoyed coming back from busy New Orleans to beautiful Mandeville and Cathy's studio each day I was in town. I love to exercise and there's a beautiful trail right along Lake Pontchartrain near the studio. It's also within close walking distance to charming locally owned restaurants and shops. This is a can't go wrong sort of rental situation. Take good care of it because others have. Thank you so much Cathy. Many thanks.

A lovely place to stay! The host is so great, very responsive, and keeps a really clean and cozy place for guests. My family and I felt right at home and we loved having the dogs, cats, and horses around. All the animals are very sweet and friendly, even to my children, they are obviously very socialized and loved. Will def stay here again.

This place is perfect for those looking for a private getaway with a significant other or a few friends! Nothing like waking up in the morning, having a cup of coffee on the porch, and enjoying the scenery that this charming home offers. We spent most of our weekend indoors so we didn’t get to do much in Covington, but the host gave recommendations that we’ve planned to save for next time. Just a note: if you plan on cooking/baking anything elaborate, you may want to bring your own utensils and cookware. The basics provided as shown in the listing are accurate and can be used as a guide to plan what you should bring. Other than that, it was a wonderful weekend and I can’t highly recommend this place enough!

We have stayed there two times now and we enjoyed it so much! My toddlers have a blast.

We can’t say enough about our lively stay at the cottage. It is impeccably contained, clean and thoughtfully prepared for us with all the comforts you can imagine. The setting is idyllic, nestled in the woods on a quiet country lane with gorgeous native landscaping and even a swing in the trees. It’s clear why this home has been an escape for generations of families - it was homey and spacious, a perfect landing spot for my family while we visited with extended family in the area for Thanksgiving. Be aware if you’re not from here that the woods get VERY dark and it can be hard to see the turns. Miss Bobbie gave us wonderful directions and we really enjoyed learning about the special details of the home. Cannot wait to come back another time!

This cottage was all it was advertised and more. Loved the location near all of the great restaurants, local places of interest, of course ease of getting into NOLA, and still secluded and peaceful Would not hesitate to recommend to any of my friends Thank you, Merry, for the fun experience you helped provide us.

Overall, all experience was 10 out of 10 place was clean. Had a cute little putt putt field and a huge connect for game.

This was our first time in Louisiana. The treehouse was as adorable as the pictures. The pictures are very accurate . Kat is the sweetest, most thoughtful and most helpful Airbnb host I’ve ever had and I have stayed in A LOT of airbnbs . It’s the perfect place to hop into New Orleans and hop back out of big city life into peaceful relaxing seclusion . If you bicycle….. TAKE YOUR BIKES.. to the Tammany trace through Covington ,abita springs and Mandeville . Have breakfast at coffee Rani, and lunch or dinner at the Abita brewery Bring some of your own records or a Bluetooth speaker , and an iron if you pack your clothes tightly … you do not have to pack shampoo or body soap or bath salts to the clawfoot tub .. her tea selection is amazing ❤️ I love this little place .
