I felt very at home and welcomed in the clean, beautifully decorated, spacious BnB. And my bed was absolutely amazing. It was an adjustable bed and incredibly comfortable. I often have to bring my own sheets when I go to an Airbnb, but the sheets were scent-free. This was very helpful. Very beautiful grounds as well.

Loved our stay at Nicholas’s place. The room was perfect for traveling through. First time ever renting a room like that and it was a beautiful experience! Nick was a great host. Nice communication gave local information very warm and welcoming.

Nicholas and Sharon were the best hosts I've had the pleasure of meeting. The house was spotless despite the numerous hosting arrangements, and they were very understanding about any potential irregularities or habits of guests despite the last minute nature of the reservation in a private residence. I hope other future guests would also reciprocate their hospitality and generosity.

We loved Cher’s place. She was amazing. Top notch hospitality from the beginning of our stay until the end.

I truly enjoyed meeting and talking with Susan. We sat in the kitchen and visited over our cups of coffee in the morning. She is a fun and remarkable person, and I especially appreciated that she is interested in being the best possible AirBnB host she can be.

Peaceful location and just the right size. We enjoyed our time sitting on the porch reading, eating and just rocking in the large rocking wooden rocking chairs while chatting. We watched the ducks and geese on the lake. In the evenings, we could see the turtles stick their heads out of the water. Although there was lots to do, we only took advantage of the pools. If you are someone who wants to be doing something and planning activities to keep little ones busy, you have lots of options at the resort where this cabin is located.

Charming, well-maintained cabin with all the amenities. Great fenced in front yard for the dogs, relaxing & private backyard for soaking in the hot tub or sitting by the fire pit. Cabin was very clean and well stocked. Instructions around the house made it simple to log into WiFi and use thermostat, etc. Owners were also very informative and in good communication throughout our trip. I would return to this cabin in warmer months to utilize the lake (it rained most of our visit). More of a quiet, sleepy town so if you’re looking for eclectic restaurants or a downtown, this isn’t it. We enjoyed cooking in and relaxing and being surrounded by nature and privacy.

We had a cabin with a beautiful view of the water. The hot tub was a lot bigger then I expected. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to come back but this time with our boys as they would of loved it.

We absolutely LOVED the cabin and didn't want to leave. It was beautiful, a great mix of rustic and modern. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the bathrooms. We enjoyed having the hot tub and the fire pit. The beds were comfy. It was a peaceful and a fantastic trip. We plan to stay again in the future.

We had a great stay. The fenced in yard was amazing for letting our dog run around. The fireplace was cozy. The provided soap was a nice touch as were the beds being made upon arrival. The bathrooms were luxurious. Overall, it is a wonderful place to stay and relax and I would recommend it to anyone.

Our crew of seven (+ 2 dogs) loved our time here! This was an experiment of sorts to go somewhere slightly remote with no major travel plans to spend quality time together and see how we could entertain ourselves. For our family and kids' ages (10-15), 3 days would have been perfect, but 4 was probably a little much. We were about fifteen minutes from the nearest retail area, but it included everything we could have ever needed. The little park at the front of the neighborhood was expansive and clean; we walked through the mining camp museum then played family wiffle ball + soccer on the football field before the kids did sand volleyball (my husband and I opted out of the sand lol). We loved we could bring our dogs without having to worry about any cat dander (several of us are allergic). The stairs were too steep for the dogs, so they were naturally contained to the middle floor. Only heads-up is that there were carpenter bees - not harmful, but definitely freaked the kids out.
