We really enjoyed our stay at lakeside fishing retreats, we met and chatted with most of the staff and family and they were extremely friendly and welcoming. The pizza hut and Bar was lovely also, felt like a little local with such a friendly welcoming environment, the pizza's and cakes were delicious and the drinks are very reasonable priced too. Perfect place for anyone who loves to fish, but also close enough to the seaside for a day out only 20mins drive, the back to pure tranquility within the complex. Many thanks and we will endeavour to return in the near future.

A lovely home from home cottage with all amenities you'll ever need. Even provided stairs gates and a high chair upon request. Great location to explore the area and having a pub within 1 minute walk is a bonus!

My Mum and I stayed for 1 night. What an amazing place. Denise showed us around and was very informative, she showed how to use the Sauna and the Hot tub safely - the hot tub even has Bluetooth so we were able to enjoy some tunes. We had a wonderful time and even enjoyed a brilliant view of the magical sunset. Enjoyed the home made wine we purchased, it was delicious. In the morning Denise gave mum a bunch of flowers that she had picked in her garden. We would thoroughly recommend a night or two here.

This place is nicer than the pictures show and perfect for our weekend away, Adam was very patient with us asking a few questions during our stay when things confused us etc. It’s also in a picturesque and peaceful village, lovely stay!!

Grace’s place was a home from home, clean, spacious and had everything you could need for a stay away. Shops were within walking distance and lots of public transport links to get where needed. Parking on the street was only a short walk away.

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas. The cottage and the village are beautiful. Stephanie and her daughter gave us all the information we needed and were lovely to deal with. Hope to be back again soon!

A great host, very fast responses to our very late notice booking, everything was ready for us within a hour of booking. Super clean and comfortable house with great facilities, perfect for a 3 generation family break. Would recommend and would be happy to stay again. We had a fantastic midweek break here as a base for visiting family in Northampton. Caravan was perfect for us very well equipped, comfy beds and spacious. Excellent hosts communicated throughout and thank you for the welcome hamper. Great location with loads of walks on site and surrounding. Would definitely recommend and we would definitely stay again.

We’re a family of 5 and were staying at Lesley’s house for our daughter’s graduation. The house was perfect for our multi generations and we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend staying in South Croxton.
