Therese’s place is a perfect base to explore Placencia town and the peninsula. The apartment was clean, quiet and well equipped - with everything you need to make a few light meals. We enjoyed drinking our morning coffee on the balcony each day! Therese was kind and responsive during all communications throughout our stay and we definitely would recommend her place for your visit!

We stayed in Almond apartment for 6 nights and had a great stay. The view of the beach and Caribbean sea was beautiful, the apartment was really well equipped for self catering, the location was quiet yet walkable to all local amenities and restaurants, and Tricia was really helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend staying here while in Hopkins, I looked at various options and am so pleased we picked this apartment.

Alan's Seahouse is across the street from his Hotel, on the lagoon side. The room has plenty of space. a nice little kitchen area (with working stove), ceiling fan and AC, and a large TV with time of channels and apps. Comfortable for a weeks stay, or longer - the building has 4 units, and some have been rented for months at a time. Very quiet inside. you can't hear your neighbors at all. The available kayaks and bicycles (free) is a really nice plus! Alan's is around most days. Great guy to chat with, and very agreeable to requests for help.

It’s a very comfortable little place to stay. Close to everything but far enough away from the centre of town that it is still quiet at night.

Eine schöne Wohnung, mit sehr guter Ausstattung! Wir fanden besonders die Strandtücher und Stühle super! Unter der Woche super ruhig, am Wochenende muss man sich bewusst sein, dass einige laute Lokale in direkter Umgebung sind.

My family absolutely loved our stay in Placencia at Phil and Megan's. The moment we arrived Phil met us and took us up and showed us their home. IT was truly beautiful, we loved the bathrooms! The air units were wonderful and the pool was a refreshing way to end a busy day. Lovely location, just minutes from the beautiful beach, tours, and restaurants. We have a wonderful time and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We had a great visit! Candace, who was our host, was flexible when our flight changed and offered us great recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Great location- loved the roof-top area for morning coffee!

What a beautiful villa! Seabird Villa 14 has the most spectacular sunsets! It is private and stunning while the architectural design is both simple and functional. We enjoyed all the suggestions from our private chef to our dive masters and found all exceeded our expectations. We hope to return for a month or longer next time.

Séjour de rêve dans la cabane de Jan. La plage et la Mer que pour vous. La cabane est très simple et agréable, tout ce qu’il faut. Les vélos mis à disposition permettent de se rendre dans le centre (compter 20 minutes environ), même de nuit aucun problème.

Very nice accomodation, everything very clean. we appreciated also the washing mashine. And we loved the palapa with beatiful view 🙂

We are a family of 5 and recently stayed at La Vida Belize. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. The plunge pool, beach and dock were the perfect place to relax after a day of adventure. We enjoyed being in a quieter area and didn’t mind the distance from the main area of Placencia. We rented a car and explored several areas in Belize during our stay. We used the guestbook for tips about the area and places to eat near Maya Beach. The grounds keepers were friendly and kept everything nice for us during our stay. The host responded quickly to any questions we had. During our week stay, some of the activities we were able to do included: snorkling with Captain Jak’s, visit the Bocawina Nation Park & Zip-line Adventure, fishing, a Monkey River tour and visit some Mayan Ruins. We also spent a good amount of time relaxing and reading on the beach or by the pool. We recommend staying here.

Emily is a great host ! Her place is reasonable and in a friendly neighborhood ! I loved being immersed in the culture and everyone was so friendly ! Def rent golf carts for the trip and her recommendations for food / dining and adventure are spot on!

Beautiful location at the end of the road adjacent to the lagoon. We took the kayaks out on the lagoon at night and were surprised by bioluminescent plankton... the water lit up as we paddled! It was magical. The town of Placencia was a bit further than expected, with lots of speed bumps, but there is a lot available close by. It's a short walk back to the main road for groceries and restaurants at the resorts. We ate at most of the places within a couple blocks and got baked goods from Bake My Day ... they were all very good.

My husband and I spent a wonderful week here. The ocean views from every room are outstanding and the patio is a nice private area to enjoy the breezes. It is a great central jumping off point for inland adventures as well as days out at the reef. Hopkins is super welcoming, we walked to a different beach front restaurant every night.

The place was exactly as described. It at the northern side of town but can reach anywhere in town in about 10 minutes by car. Tobin's place will be our goto anytime we need to stay in Dangriga.

We loved our time at Sieri del Mal! The 3 bedroom home was incredibly spacious, and the deck outside was gigantic. The beds were quite comfortable, and we loved waking up to the ocean. Ratka was a wonderful host who communicated very well. She and her staff were so helpful and thoughtful (bringing fresh beach towels to your unit most days) The on-site pool was awesome, and we appreciated how easy it was to run between the ocean and pool. The local tour companies pick you up for water excursions right at Sieri del Mar's dock. We heard exactly zero noise from the ongoing restaurant construction. Highly recommend!!

We spent 13 days at the villas at Cocoplum. We loved the location being in the middle of the peninsula. Having a golf cart gave us all the freedom we needed to do all we wanted. The pool and private dock were a huge plus. The staff at Cocoplum were very friendly and very helpful. Very easy location to experience the many excursions Belize has to offer. The villa has everything you need. We would highly recommend staying at Cocoplum villas.

Cocoplum Condos are great. We have stayed at over 20 condos in the past few years. The pool area is our all time favorite. It has beautiful trees for partial shade and is next to a lovely sand beach. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. We had a car rental and Herbert sent directions to the condo and was waiting for us when we arrived. We spent lots of time on the deck enjoying the peaceful surroundings when we weren't in the pool or hot tub! This is a perfect condo for two couples or a family with children.

Andrea was a great hostess. She was very attentive and helpful. It was very comfortable for two people, Super well appointed. The sunsets from the lanai were spectacular! Make sure you take advantage of Edward, the juice man, who delivers fresh local juices, and the fish vendor who comes by from time to time. There was great birding from the lanai! Having access a 10 minute walk away to a resort on the ocean side with the breeze, the palm trees, and a restaurant was fabulous. We were there during an unexpectedly wet “dry season“, which made the bugs problematic. The airport noise was a little more than we expected, but you get used to it pretty quickly, and there are no planes flying at night.

This condo was great! Management was very helpful with assisting us with planning activities and meals. Be aware that the location is a bit away from Placencia village and will require a golf cart or car. We were a bit nervous driving the golf cart after dark, so used a taxi service for dinners. Taxis are a bit expensive. Be aware that there are sandflies on the beach, particularly around sunset, they were a minor annoyance, but be sure to have bug repellant on, when walking the beach, this is an issue all across Belize. This was our homebase for activities in the area, which included a visit to Cockscomb, Ranguana Caye and fishing. (They picked us up and delivered us with a pile of fish at the Cocoplum dock). We enjoyed meals, lounging and drinks on the beach right next door at the Naia resort. I am a photographer and enjoyed the cool mornings on the patio taking photos of beautiful birds right from the patio. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back.

L’endroit était parfait. Piscine, plage, quai, tout était super. Nous avons adoré Sherman, le chien le plus amical que nous avons rencontrés. Le seul bémol est comme dans de nombreux endroit dans le sud, que si vous laisser de la nourriture sur le comptoir de cuisine les fourmis viendront et dévoreront vos provisions. Merci pour tout.

Kimberly’s support, services, recommendations and responsiveness was exemplary. She helped us in so many ways and responded to our questions in a timely manner. The condo was absolutely beautiful and the location was outstanding. The resort was peaceful, protected from the wind and was very private. Long walks on the beach, lounging at the palapa, paddling to the false Caye near by, shopping at the nearby village, swimming off the dock and just lounging on the beach were just a few our highlights here.
