Everyone at Trade Winds was so nice and welcoming! comfortable bed and a good location. If it's individual your budget I definitely recommend selecting one of the bungalows, they are right on the beach!

The manager Junior was very efficient and super responsive. We checked in early evening but he was right there and very clear and quick with all the needed info. The place was secure and peaceful. The other guests were lovely. The kitchen was well stocked and the fridge was clean. The air con in the room was great. The bed was comfy and clean. Recommend highly.

The guesthouse is lovely, and the outside porch is lovely. The house has a shared fully equipped kitchen, which is nice if you want to cook your own meals! The room and the house were clean when we arrived, and refreshed most of the days we stayed. There are free bikes which is nice if you want to explore a bit around, beach towels and snorkeling equipment that can be borrowed. The location is very nice, right across from the beach! We loved our stay, and Hopkins is a very mellow beautiful village.

We had a great stay here. The place was as advertised and worked for our family of 5, as the butterfly villa has a futon. Nice to have a kitchen to cook in. It could use a few more amenities, like extra cloths and dish towels, cutting board and it would be great if they had salt and pepper. However, we were able to borrow salt and pepper from our host, and when the stove lighter didn’t work they brought us a new one right away. My kids were able to play with the hosts kids and had a blast. You’re right off the main road close to lots of stores and restaurants and 5 minutes from the marina or the beach. I recommend the Pickled Carrot as a great bar to hang out at. Check in was easy, as even if the office is closed the host lives nearby on the property. Wifi worked pretty good. The balcony was enclosed with big netting, so could easily sit outside in the hammock or chairs at night. I’d happily stay here again

Leuk, kleinschalig hotel met een aantal leuke extra’s! Wij konden fietsen gratis lenen en daarnaast ook snorkels en strandstoeltjes. Verder was de host heel gastvrij en had hij goede tips voor restaurants in de buurt.

Perfect stay! Ron and his family are very welcoming. We had a lot of help and excellent recommendations. Intimate house located in the heart of the activity, I recommend.

Sandpiper was a perfect stay. Beachfront, good shade on the porch, comfortable and private. Juanita kept us apprised of happenings in the neighborhood with advance notice which we appreciated (a whole house was delivered next door one day and the village power was scheduled off on a different day - neither of which were a problem and were actually quite entertaining). She had bikes available to explore Hopkins. The beach is well maintained and it is easy to walk along down to J&J's and Queen Bean. The village itself is full of friendly folks and easy to find shops, restaurants, & activities. There are enough fans to keep the cabin comfortable and the A/C in the bedroom works great for overnight. General FYI - sandflies are hit or miss in this area - one of us had a ton of bites, one of us only a few - deet or oil recommended for dawn & dusk on calm days.
