Stayed at 294 Shore Dr. from 12/24–1/2 and had a great experience! The house is super convenient, with easy freeway access and beautiful views of Lake Milton. It was the perfect spot to rest, shower, and recharge after spending our days out and about. The home had everything we needed, and the hosts clearly put thought into making guests comfortable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a cozy and convenient stay in the area!

A thoughtfully updated farmhouse. Beautiful location, with lots to do in any direction you drive. Kitchen has what is needed to stay in and cook. One of the nicest bathrooms for a shower or soaking bath! WiFi and Verizon cell service are both fast. Host is very friendly and responsive. For coffee lovers, highly recommend Pioneer Coffee Roasters (either Dalton or Massillon) and try the Belgium Siphon! For a weekend brunch - you MUST try The Monastic Home in Canal Fulton - weekends only and get there Saturday or early Sunday! Book this for exploring this part of Ohio and you won’t be disappointed! Wooster, Fairlawn, Massillon, Canton, and more are all within a 30 minute drive. Oh, and have a cup of coffee in the cozy noon overlooking the lake! For those that love farmhouses, this one has what you’re looking for!

Had a wonderful time staying right on the lake. Be aware that there are a lot of stairs - not more than one flight; but a lot of transitional steps in between living areas. This might be relevant to anyone with mobility issues. Melanie was an incredible host and helped with all of our needs. The location is in a lovely neighborhood that is fun to explore. We really enjoyed the pier and kayaks provided.

Enjoyed our winter stay at Lanterman Chill - Natalia and Benny are great hosts, with many thoughtful and less commonly found amenities like a kayak for Newport Lake, garage to park car (great to protect from snow and sleet), securely fenced in yard for pups, white noise machines in bedrooms, quiet home and good sound insulation, kitchen essentials and supplies (thank you for the popcorn, tea, etc! a lifesaver when coming in late without groceries!), dog kennel, and so many other things. Really great options for two remote workers as well with a desk on each level. Recommend for anyone seeking a peaceful and cozy stay in the area!

We loved this place- it was so well appointed. Two tall son-in-laws appreciated the 2 king beds. Wonderful and comfortable living room with big screen TV, perfect dining area that can seat 10 with great views of lake and accessible for a winter plunge followed by hot tub! Kitchen was well stocked and while small the space was well used so that 3 could work there comfortably for making Thanksgiving fare. We really enjoyed the place- it’s a great choice!

I enjoyed my stay at Sandy's place. it was peaceful and very convenient for me to visit with family and friends and attend my church that I used to go to. She even reminded me that there were going fireworks and told me the best places to watch! I would definitely stay again if I come up next year.

Nancy and Bill were the best hosts. Their property is honestly a little piece of heaven! My husband and I had such a wonderful weekend celebrating our Anniversary. If you want a super peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, then I would HIGHLY recommend!

Sandy is a great host and the place was cute, comfortable and I felt at home right away. There's a store across the street and restaurants and bars within walking distance. Very convenient!

This is a beautiful, cozy, corky old town, Lake Milton getaway. I felt right at home. It is a friendly, peaceful area that I recommend to friends and family. The host, Sandy, was quick to respond and helpful with any questions and recommendations for local events in the area. Thank you for making it an overall wonderful place to stay!

The pros: Lots of beds to accommodate all of us. I appreciated having multiple baths. though the basement bathroom was just a toilet no walls, the upstairs ones were more than adequate. The common room was spacious and open. There was a big bedroom downstairs, which was great for someone who couldn't do steps. Very large porch. Nice kitchen fully stocked. The cons: The tub wasn't working to give our kids a bath, but the shower worked. the fireplace was non operational, which kinda was a bummer as cold as it was. We were only allowed 3 cars in the driveway and there is no room to park on the street so one of our guests had to drive back home after they dropped their stuff off. I'm sure the location would be much more beautiful in the summer months. in the winter it was cold and a bit drafty, but the heat worked nicely. The neighbors are very close, and one neighbor stared at us from across the street since there no blinds or curtains in the main room. Overall: It fit our needs. Thanks

Dear John.... Cozy Comfy Curious. If any of those aren't you, then I encourage you to expand your horizons and come have an Eye Spy unplugging on the apron of Leesville Lake. Walk the maze of tiny roads and transport randomly through time from now to then and back. Safe, friendly community. We enjoyed the switch from the suburbs. Our drive home up the curvy roads made us wonder how necessary is the strip mall corner RX, and et al really....the cabin is like a magic laso for your heart and soul. A longer toilet is all i ask....but its a heritage vibe...i get it. Thanks John!

Cozy cottage with ample space in a really peaceful location. Nice neighborhood to walk around with the lake nearby (and a really nice playground/picnic space). The kitchen had everything I needed, the two separate living room spaces provided a lot of variety, and the two bedrooms were set up nicely. I didn't use the window AC units, but appreciated that they were available in each room.

such a nice cottage. perfect for our girls getaway. very comfortable. good restaurants near by. view of the water so peaceful.

We loved the house by the lake! Even in November a pretty and peaceful place which was very comfortable and comforting for our group of 4 adults. I loved the details and decor and would like to return when the trees are in full bloom. Bonus: We had a full view of a majestic pair of eagles one morning.
