Fantastic spot to enjoy a weekend in Charlottesville. There is a place to sit outside underneath two large holly trees, and the location is right next to a wonderful winery. It was well situated to wineries in the area, grocery stores in Charlottesville (Wegmans is 5 minutes down the road), and also near Monticello-Saunders Trails (5 minutes down the road). My only complaint is some of the dishes/utensils weren't cleaned, presumably by previous renters.

I booked a last minute spontaneous mental health getaway to the mountains of Virginia. I loved the apartment and the hosts were so accommodating. I had everything I needed and more during my stay. My favorite part was the claw leg tub and the deck. Both perfect for winding down. The location is great because there is a lot to do nearby. You can be in Charlottesville or the Shenandoah National Park south entrance in about 20 mins. My only regret is that I didn’t stay longer to enjoy the Airbnb and more of the area.

I had a very peaceful stay in this studio apartment in Charlottesville for a few days. It matched the pictures and description. Really liked that it was in a separate building and I could walk everywhere - to UVA, Downtown Mall, etc. Also appreciated the full kitchen, the free parking in the alley right next to the apartment. It is on a hill so may be difficult if you have mobility issues. It's only a short drive to Monticello. The host was friendly and responsive. Would stay there again!

Perfect place to visit Shenandoah NP. A spacious guest house just like the pictures perfect to relax and have a coffee watching the sunrise or sleep looking at the stars. Also Jenn & Daniel are great hosts, respond quickly and are flexible with the check in/out times. They left us great provisions like free range eggs, fresh butter and bread. Definitely recommended for a couple stay.

Hidden Gem definitely deserves its name! Beautiful views with things to do in the area. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our weekend getaway!!

Our stay was exactly what we had hoped for - easy, peaceful, and central to all things wanted (wineries, downtown Charlottesville, Crozet). Matt made sure that everything was easily accessible (from directions on how to find the location to how to work the T.V.), and was a great host to stay with. We found that this location was perfectly tucked in the middle of almost everything, and provided us with a lot of privacy! It has wonderful amenities near it, and there is even a game of scrabble for guests to use (we played every night!)

My man and I had a wonderful time having a quiet and private weekend getaway. The place is so cozy and the hosts are so welcoming. It’s a beautiful view off the back porch. One of the highlights of my weekend was getting to spend time with Bilbo the cat. He was so snuggly and gave us a warm welcome as soon as we arrived! Would love to come back here again!

We loved our stay!! Such a beautiful home with everything we needed in absolutely gorgeous surroundings. It was so nice to unplug and enjoy the fire pit and hot tub at the house. We also enjoyed a hike at Crabtree Falls and dinner at Basic Necessities based on recommendations from the host- great choices!

I’ve been to Nick’s place multiple times and will continue to go back any time I am in Harrisonburg. It’s serene, peaceful and exactly what I needed! It’s still convenient to everything, and Nick has always been a wonderful host!

This home was great! The Beaver Ridge Pond Farm was beautiful and was really peaceful. My daughter loved the animals and being able to look right out of the window and see them anytime was an awesome bonus! Would definitely recommend and would stay here again. Christi and Scott were so kind and excellent to rent from.

Peaceful, picturesque, and cozy location and everything was in perfect order. I was disappointed when where I've stayed in the area in the past was not longer available but wow this took my stay over the top. It's just minutes away from where I was visiting making while giving me time away to relax with some time to myself. I've already recommended to other family members and this will definitely be my go to place for future visits to Gordonsville. Thank you for sharing your property!!

Both Megan and Josh were really friendly and helpful. This was our first family vacation with our son and they definitely took time to make us feel at home.

Great spot to rest your head while exploring the Shenandoah Valley.

Our group was 3 couples for a wedding at nearby Keswick. It was extremely convenient to the celebration. Everything we needed was on hand in the kitchen including coffee. There was also a bottle of wine to welcome us! We thoroughly enjoyed the lovely pool and the beds were very comfortable. We stayed in the Doctor’s Cottage. It had a king bed; generous living room and was quaint and cozy. The couple in the Smokehouse felt the Air conditioning system could have been better and the couple in the Tavern thought it was overall a little dark inside. We could not have been happier with the accommodations and location was key!

This is our absolute favorite romantic getaway close to DC! We have such a wonderful time every time we visit. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts and for sharing your beautiful property. We love your farm and the animals so much!

I loved my stay in this spacious "tiny house," which is actually quite roomy! It had a modern feel, was really clean and well decorated, and I had everything I needed in the kitchen and bathroom, so well stocked. Laura had a great laminated list of local restaurants and all instructions were very clear. I'd stay again!

Wonderful host and perfect place for two to stay in Harrisonburg. Close to everything downtown but quiet and lots of history around.

Jeremy thought of everything! Every space is thoroughly thought out and all of the amenities are incredible. We loved the space! Took some great naps, made a fire every night, and took advantage of Jeremy’s list of recommendations. Great location for all the breweries and wineries! Will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Perfect location Thoughtfully designed and outfitted home. Amazingly comfy memory foam bed. Very functional space. Location perfect : walk ability to downtown/mall and also to the University. Multiple Excellent restaurants within a short walk.

Lovely very well thought out place. Lots to do at the property & a short drive to Luray Caverns, Shenandoah park, Skyline drive & much more. Would definitely come back.

I absolutely loved this Airbnb! It was incredibly private, quiet, and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The space was well-equipped with two TVs, cozy bunk beds, a comfortable master bedroom, and a convenient laundry room. The hot tub and arcade added a fun touch, while the coffee bar was a great bonus. The full kitchen, complete with an oven and a spacious refrigerator with a freezer, made it easy to prepare meals. Overall, a fantastic stay!

The house was great for our overnight stay. Appreciated being able to bring our pup along. Snacks, coffee and teas were a plus. Nicer than the pictures in our opinion-very cozy. Loved the bird pictures and beautiful property to walk our dog. Gretchen was quick to respond and let us book a last minute stay. Would definitely stay again!!

Gail’s property is beautiful! Located in the country, but just a Frog Jump away from Charlottesville. You are surrounded by trees and deer. And pond too. Very relaxing and comfortable. I found the cottage to be clean and well maintained. Everything works. The purpose built cottage was modern with updated plumbing, electrical fixtures, etc. The cottage looked as if it was new construction. The interior was nicely decorated. The place has everything you need. Gail was a wonderful host. She thinks of everything. I look forward to staying again.
