Great location along Amstell River, not too far from Cafe center of trendy "De Pijp". An easy bike or tram ride down to the city center. Good swimming spots can be found along the river on the opposite bank. House was clean and comfortable, the roof deck was lovely to sit out on in the evening.

The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

This is such a special place! We absolutely loved our stay - it was the perfect place to unwind, slow down and be still. Rob was a great host and made us feel really at home . I highly recommend staying in Robs house and we’re keen to return!!

Our family had a perfect stay. House was beautiful, close to the city by ferry, restaurants on the waterfront and we even got in a swim just 10mins walk from the house. Was great to be able to use the bikes too. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms modern and clean with great showers.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser großzügigen und gemütlichen Villa in Utrecht. Die Wohnung strahlt eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre aus und ist perfekt ausgestattet. Utrecht hat viel zu bieten, und von der Unterkunft aus ist vieles fußläufig, mit dem Fahrrad oder dem Auto leicht zu erreichen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, aber dennoch nahe an allem, was man braucht. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!

This apartment is beautiful and pretty much exactly like the pictures. The garden is a fantastic inclusion, the bathroom is as theatrically fabulous as it looks and it was lovely to be able to play the baby grand piano. The increasingly popular De Pijp area is a short walk across the bridge and we spent most of our time there. A fantastic place to stay in a brilliant location - we’ll be back.

Frank is an outstanding host. He provided fantastic and detailed information upfront. The check-in was smooth, and we were provided with local snacks, and Frank set us up with breakfast for our first morning in Amsterdam. This made it very comfortable after a long trip. Whenever we had a question, Frank replied within minutes. We all had a great and relaxing stay. Our kids often asked us if we could stay inside the house rather than going on day trips. That's how much they enjoyed the place and the cute little garden where they could play with water (you have to watch out for tiny kids that can't swim though). In short, it was fun, and we had a good time.

Droogdok was een geweldige plek voor ons 10 om een weekend bij te kletsen! Het huis overtreft de foto’s en de beschrijving. De keuken is meer dan compleet; er is veel parkeerruimte; en de warme inrichting zet gelijk een goede sfeer neer. Ons verblijf in november was niet geschikt om op de terrassen te zitten of de plassen te ontdekken, maar wij kunnen ons alleen maar voorstellen dat Droogdok daar ook ideaal voor is! We hadden zelf wat spellen meegenomen, maar ook daar voorziet het huis eigenlijk al in. De ligging vlakbij Amsterdam en Utrecht maakte dat het voor ons allen goed en snel te bereiken was. We zouden deze locatie zeker aanraden aan anderen.

Мы приехали к Хелен вдвоём и с собакой. Остались ОЧЕНЬ довольны!!! Очень радушная Хозяйка и ВСЯ ее семья!!! Большое спасибо за прекрасно проведённое время в Вашем доме!!! Добраться до дома легко по навигатору на машине. До центра Амстердама всего 20 минут! В 6 км магазин со всем необходимым. Отлично работает вай-фай. На кухне есть все необходимое. Идеально для остановки с животными- есть отгороженная территория. Очень рекомендую этот дом для остановки в живописном месте рядом с Амстердамом.

Great stay and Maurits is an amazing host.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Die Lage der Wohnung ist wunderbar, alle Restaurants sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Auch mit unserem Hund waren wir schnell auf grünen Spazierwegen, die uns Walter empfohlen hat. Zur Begrüßung gab es eine Flasche Wein, die Kommunikation mit Walter war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen!

The lodge is very lovely, Michel & Josephine are very kind hosts! The communication was also very good. We could spend 4 relaxing days with a group of 6 people and a dog. Excellent place for a getaway from the busy cities.

Sehr netter Kontakt. Das Haus ist schon etwas älter aber toll am Wasser gelegen und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es war sehr sauber und alles wie beschrieben.

Isan is responsive and to-the-point. The place is very nice in an absolutely marvelous environment.

Our time in the houseboat was great. We didn't miss anything. The house is very modern and comfortably furnished and the kitchen is fully equipped. Our children used the beautiful garden with its trampoline whenever possible. A particular highlight was the SUP board that we were allowed to use. A lot of fun in the morning to go for a lap on the canal right after breakfast. The reception and the farewell by Winnis dear neighbors made everything perfect. A great houseboat, a great environment, a great host.

Superb stay very close to the Amsterdam city center. Very spacious, high quality and convenient. In particular we enjoyed the fire place (which was pre-arranged for us before our arrival), the fully equipped kitchen and of course the two very friendly cats.

Una casa muy amplia y decorada con muy buen gusto. El único fallo desde nuestro punto de vista, ha sido el no poder regular nosotros mismos la calefacción en la casa, ya que había habitaciones heladas y otras con muchísimo calor, con lo que era difícil descansar bien en todas. Our stay at Marcels cottage was brilliant! He welcomed us upon arrival, introduced us to his family, showed us around the cottage, explained how to unlock the electric gates and swimming pool cover. The cottage is within the grounds of Marcels house but provided enough privacy for both of us. Marcel is a very easy going person, friendly and accommodating. He was always there when we needed him but never impinged upon our privacy. We were on a cycling holiday on our own road bikes and not once did we fear our bikes would be stolen from the garden. Vicky my wife is a keen swimmer and there was never a time when it was a problem for her to use the pool. We loved the accommodation and the atmosphere Marcel provided. Of all the Airbnb we have stayed at this is by far the best. Thoroughly recommend. We will definitely come back 😀

Our stay met our expectations. We own a sailboat and are aware of the space restrictions involved. We enjoy different experiences and this fit the bill. Steven is very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed talking with him. We took advantage of the tugboat tour Steven offers to his guests and this was a more intimate experience than we would otherwise have had on a canal trip in Amsterdam. Steven gave us the opportunity to experience bitter ballen and Skipper bitters at an old Dutch pub. For those who are adventurous and able bodied, this is a stay to put on the list!!

Das gemütliche Hausboot von Harold ist ideal für einen Aufenthalt von ein paar Tagen in Amsterdam. Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist man superschnell in der Innenstadt! Das Hausboot ist gemütlich eingerichtet und es ist ein kleines Abenteuer, darin zu wohnen, wenn man es nicht gewöhnt ist. Harold ist sehr freundlich und hat uns sogar einen Obstkorb und eine Flasche Wein zur Begrüßung geschenkt!

We stayed at Marnix and Margot’s place for almost 3 weeks. They very helpful and accommodating and allowed us to check in one night in advance in the evening because our other Airbnb finished and we had small kids and lots of luggage. Also, they went an extra mile and accommodated us with safety gates for our 2 year old twins. That was huge for us. The place was just as described. Renovated, nice, free of clutter. We found everything we needed. The backyard is perfect for spending time with kids. Our girls loved the trampoline and the slide. Having so many bicycles to choose from including the big family bike was an amazing bonus. The hosts were always responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place and the hosts.
