We loved our stay at Rosie’s, she was very welcoming and friendly, great comms. The views are stunning; and a pint and food in the walkable Black Bull Inn is a must. Incredible view of the night sky if you get lucky with the weather.

Lovely house set in a fantastic location with amazing views. The house was comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Hot tub and sauna was a welcomed bonus after long walks. Hosts were very responsive.

Fab place to stay in Loch Long. The scenery is beautiful and there’s plenty to keep you busy. The cottage was lovely and highly recommend

Rachel’s Farm ‘The Cottage’ was exactly as advertised. Perfect for the wife and I to have a last minute romantic weekend away. Booking was so easy, the property was very homely and welcoming and we immediately felt the worries of the world disappearing as we relaxed into the hot-tub listening to the wildlife. Also after a day of exploring the area to be able to slip into that awesome rolltop bath. I’m one of the larger built gentleman, and to have a bath that I can lay in and fit was sublime. You almost had to charge me for the cost of that bath as I was tempted to bring it home with me. 👍and then to climb into that bed. I haven’t slept that well for months..! Honestly, if you are considering staying here, I would 100% recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

We spent a lovely 4 days at Pinetree Cottage. The cottage is located in a lovely area towards the end of Loch Venachar. It is very quiet but Callendar is only a 10-15 mins drive for local shopping and cafe's. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable and well equipped with a lovely covered porch where you can sit and enjoy the weather whilst watching the wildlife. The garden itself is huge with sunloungers and is fully enclosed so is very pet safe and friendly area. We appreciated the selection of jigsaws which helped to keep us occupied in the evenings. Great communication with Emma before and during our stay to ensure a smooth arrival and enjoyable stay. Would definitley recommend.

This is a lovely cottage, very comfortable and clean. There is a nice secure garden and we were able to walk our dog straight from the cottage, you can get to the river Earn for a wee paddle. It was a nice surprise to find a welcome basket of goodies, even for the dog. Also there were some logs provided for the fire which was welcome and often not included in self catering places with fires. It was perfect for our stay to visit relatives locally.

Our stay at this property was truly excellent. The place was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with breathtaking views that made the experience even more special. The john and Dora exceptionally welcoming and thoughtful, providing generous touches that made us feel right at home. We would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful and well cared place.

We absolutely fell in love with the place. The cottage was warm, cosy, and had everything one needed. I travelled with my granny, daughter and my dog Bailey and we all settled down quickly, it was like being at home. But it wasn't only about the cottage and the lovely host; it was also about the location. The cottage is located just outside of Drymen, a lovely little village with very kind people. I do recommend it to anyone who's looking for a country getaway and who wants an unforgettable stay.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au lodge. Le logement était petit mais suffisamment grand pour notre famille de 2 adultes et 3 enfants. Nous avons tous adoré l'environnement immédiat du lodge et du château. C'était un paradis pour les enfants...ils se sont éclatés avec les tyroliennes, dans la cabane perchée, dans la salle de jeux et ont adoré rendre visite aux belles vaches de la propriété. Notre fils s'est même baigné dans la rivière longeant le château... Amy était très sympathique et disponible. Thank you Amy!

We have family in the village but needed a place to sleep. The cottage was ideal. Comfortable beds. A well equipped kitchen. Outside seating if you’re fortunate with the weather. It’s a short wander along to the co-op if you need bits and pieces. Aberfoyle is stunning. Gorgeous walks all around you as well as opportunities to go and see some red squirrels. A lovely place to stay for a few days.

My stay at Catherine and Dylan’s cottage was a peaceful and comforting experience. It felt like a home from home and the communication and ease of check in and check out was so easy. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I’ll definitely book again.

Lovely property and perfect layout for us. Great to have the wood burner for cosy autumn evenings and a nice big shower room. Good sized well equipped kitchen area and the open plan layout suited us as a family. Kippen is a lovely village and enjoyed being able to walk to local pub for a meal, plus easy access to walks nearby and in the trossachs and Loch Lomond areas.

It was so lovely to spend Christmas here. Catrina had arranged for a tree and other decorations to be put up which made it feel like a home from home. For 7 of us the house was very well equipped, so comfy and inviting. Location of course beautiful, with hills around us and a loch a short walk away. We had a wonderful time visiting Perth and sterling castle - both very easy to reach by car. If you are looking for a place to hold a family get together this cottage is perfect!

What an amazing cottage and location! Fiona was an exceptional host with outstanding responsiveness to a very late booking on our end with an early check in provided. The cottage has everything you could need and there is so much to do in walking distance and so much more with a wee drive away. We will return very soon as six days wasn’t enough! This is an outstanding option if your heading this way with a fantastic host.

We've had a lovely stay - it's a well equipped cottage (including kitchen utensils, reliable WiFi, easy to use heating), with plenty of space for two people, wonderful walks available from the doorstep, and great hosts! Would happily stay here again.

A lovely setting that looks and feels remote but actually is not far at all from major towns and villages. Lovely and spacious and we made good use of the log burner. Great location to explore the Campsie Hills and further afield. I particular enjoyed the Falkirk Wheel and Loch Lomond is within easy striking distance. I also recommend visiting the abandoned and derelict Lennox Castle which is nearby. The lodge was nice and warm and cosy with great facilities.

We had a lovely few days at the cottage! We had everything we needed . The beds were so comfortable! The kitchen had all the equipment we needed . The log burner was fab especially with it being so cold outside! Garden was great for the dog as it was all enclosed . Would love to come back in better weather to get to sit out . Sarah was fantastic! Very responsive and helpful . We Will be back!
