This property was by far the best experience I’ve ever had while traveling for work! From the peaceful environment to the beautiful views. The amenities of this property are incredible. Will be booking again anytime I can!

We loved staying at Kerry’s place. He was a great host and gave us great suggestions of local places to go. We loved staying there and would probably book again if we got the chance!

Vivian was a wonderful host! She was friendly and her hospitality was beyond compare. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others looking for a respite away from the hustle of every day life. The woods behind the cabin were fun to explore and extremely peaceful. This was even better than the description on Air Bnb. I am so glad I had a chance to unwind and reset here

This place is super peaceful. Our cabin had a steam shower & sauna, this was so nice to have as this was a work trip. Bed was very comfortable. I Would highly recommend this place for a get out of the city & recharge getaway! Beautiful area. Thanks for hosting us Vivian.

This is one of the coolest AirBNBs I’ve ever stayed at! If you’re looking for a private escape, you can’t go wrong with this place. It’s well-appointed, clean, an absolutely beautiful cabin, and the ranch it sits on is breathtaking! The host couldn’t have done a better job of making sure we had everything we needed. The road up to the cabin is narrow, steep, and rocky, but I wouldn’t hesitate to tackle it with any AWD or even just a FWD with a little ground clearance. Stay here. You won’t regret it!

We were given directions to the place and found that Apple Maps took is right to the location. It appears google maps is not the best in giving directions and Damien makes that clear and. gives detailed instructions to get to the cabin. We found the place awesome for anyone looking for peace and quiet and stunning beauty of the property and the cabin. We were made aware that water is hauled there and we were given ample water for our stay. It has solar system as well as a generator for electricity. So when we had a beautiful snow storm that covered the solar panels we had some issues that were quickly resolved. Don't forget to conserve electricity but if you drain the solar batteries you can start the generator to get the lights on. Damien was an amazing host, gave clear instructions and if you want to get away from everything this is the place! We have found the place we hope to return to soon to enjoy the splendors of nature and the cabin again. Hopefully soon!

Chris was very helpful ensuring we knew what to expect prior to arriving. Answered any questions we had and even sent a video making sure we knew how to make it up the driveway! We had a great time and the cabin worked perfectly for our 2 families! We come to Cuchara every year for family reunion and will definitely try to rebook for next year! Thanks Chris!

This was a perfect getaway from the city, and the Cowboy Cabin had everything you could think of for our own retreat. Amenities, location, vibes; all were exactly what we were looking for.

Large, clean house that accommodated the needs of our group exceptionally well! We would stay there again! Corinne is a kind host!

The home was beautiful, clean, & homey. Remote, but easy to find if you follow the hosts directions. We stayed 4 nights, and were thrilled that the horses showed up one evening. Taos was only an hour away, and a fun day trip. The coffee shop in San Luis was also amazing. The only slight drawbacks would be the limited water and no trash service. Having a larger group and a longer stay, we worried about running out of water. However, we were just fine and Rebecca was great about letting us know the level. A short stay wouldn't need to worry. Having traveled from over 9 hrs away, hauling off the trash was a worry. However Rebecca was awesome, and made arrangements for us with a neighbor. We would absolutely recommend this home.

We loved the Snow View cabin. The cabin was beautiful and exactly what we wanted, rustic and very cozy. We walked to the restaurants within minutes. The cabin has a nice garage with tennis equipment, fishing poles, and outdoor tables and chairs and still had plenty of room to pull our car in. There is also an adorable playhouse for the kids with all sorts of things for them to play with. My family had a great time.

What a wonderful weekend thanks to a great place and a great host. As a part of the Grateful Living Lodge, the cabin was very thoughtfully furnished, and nothing beats very nice towels and linens to make you feel pampered. We were welcomed and shown around the cabin, including all of the quirks of cabin living. Our host adjusted our cabin without us even asking so that it better accommodated my family. It was just the break from the hustle and bustle of life that we needed!

Easy to find, and easy check in. Woke up to deer around us every morning. Great size for the 4 of us.
