Eugene’s place was very clean and had everything we needed. He was very responsive, Super accommodating and helpful as well. My son and I had a great time on the water in the pedal boat and he loved the hot tub! (Which I will add was also very clean) If you choose to stay at this relaxing, quiet and enjoyable place, it is suggested to do groceries prior to coming into town as it is quite expensive at the towns grocery store and if you’d like to use the fire pit, bring your fire wood as it is not provided. Thank you Eugene! We enjoyed our stay and were sad to go :)

We had the most memorable family get together at Genie's stay in Iroquois. The place exceeded our expectations. We were dazzled by the charm of the site and the warmth of this heritage house. Conveniences galore, fun for everyone, lots of space, comfortable accomodations, amazing views, great communication with the hosts. This one is at the top of our list for future gatherings! Thanks so much for setting the stage for our memories that will last for decades !

5 stars is not enough! What a beautiful place to stay with my family. Ahmed was one of the greatest hosts I’ve had. The next time we are in Ottawa, we will be back. The Christmas decorations and setting made it feel like a hallmark movie!

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour au cottage Eau plaisir. La propreté du logement était impeccable. Le logement correspondait tout à fait 'annonce. Claude et Liliane étaient très réceptifs et aidants quand nous avions des questions. L'endroit est parfait pour les familles avec de jeunes enfants et un chien. Le lieu vient avec tous les équipements pour nous rendre la vie facile et nous faire sentir comme chez nous. La salle de jeu est un plus. Nous avons bien profité de la cour pour jouer dehors. Le quartier était bien calme. Nous songeons revebir en été pour profiter davantage des attraits du coin. Merci pour ce beau séjour.

Dieu bénisse Maria ET Pieter! :) Ce sont deux personnes extraordinaires, authentiques et spéciales pour moi! Et leur endroit était des plus paisibles, bien équipé et magnifique! Cet endroit est un total retour aux sources, à la nature. Leurs animaux m'ont vraiment éblouie! J'y retournerai c'est certain pour plus de jours! Mon frère aussi a adoré! Merci mile fois, Maria & Pieter! :) Ma note? 1000 sur 100. J'en parlerai à tous ceux que je connais pour qu'ils puissent eux aussi en profiter!

We spent a couple of days in September at Catherine's place and it was fantastic. We found the house to be very well appointed (particularly the kitchen!) and some of the extra amenities were nice to have (the sauna was very nice). It was great being right on the St. Lawrence River and peaceful to sit on the deck, watch the birds and enjoy a cup of coffee during the sunrise. We did a bit of fishing off the deck and found it to be surprisingly good! Being right on the water the mosquitos were really bad, but I think that is probably to be expected. The house is on a busy road, so if you are like us and bring your four-legged friend along, walking them on a road with folks driving by at 60+ mph is a bit unsettling. We made a couple of trips into Montreal, and while it's a bit of a hike (~50 miles), it was a fairly easy drive and took about an hour. Overall we had a really nice time and we would certainly recommend to anyone looking to spend some time on the river around Montreal!

The cottage is so beautiful and just at the lake. The garden has a lot of old trees and its there s a lot of shade there. And a Grill and a Fire Place. The kitchen is very well equipped. And the cottage has a lot of cozy spaces to sit and one of the rooms upstairs is hughe. We had a wonderful time with the paddleboard and all the other boats. William and his daughter were lovely to talk to and even invited us to a little boat tour on his motor boat. Would 100% recommend it.

Beautiful cottage and location. Home was pristine. Dock wasn’t accessible, which was unfortunate since we expected it to be based on photos. Aside from that no complaints! Cell service was terrible, so if that’s important, this may not be the place for you.
