This place is perfect for big families looking for a cozy and comfortable stay far from the buzzing city. It has hot tub and pool (perfect for summer getaway). We enjoyed our new year's eve celebration. Big spaces and clean. Basement is also spacious with a bar and games. Hosts are responsive and considerate.

Ariane communique chaleureusement et saura vous accueillir de manière à ce que vous ne manquiez de rien durant votre séjour. Situé dans Gatineau et tout près d'Ottawa, mais tout en étant dans un quartier résidentiel très tranquille (avec stationnement privé et entrée indépendante). Nous y retournerons certainement la prochaine fois que vous visiterons la région. Merci encore Ariane pour tout!

Perfect stay for our big group. The home was very clean and super comfortable. It’s hard to find a place with lots of beds and sufficient parking, so this is a true gem. The host had great communication and was very accommodating. Can’t wait to be back!

A big thank you to Allison for hosting us at her beautiful country home. The home was in perfect condition and was exactly like the photo’s. The grounds around the house are beautiful with lots of privacy. The beds were very comfortable to sleep on. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans to cook with and not to mention plates and cutlery. Overall we had a great stay at this location and highly recommend it. We will certainly be back. Maria's house, the Ridgewood Estate is a beautiful 19th century historical home located in a picturesque area. The architecture and woodwork in this home is stunning! The large acreage is perfect for long walks and breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. There is a gorgeous pool that unfortunately we were not able to use due to the off season/cold weather. Maria was a perfect host. She was super responsive, polite and very communicative, always getting back to us in a very timely manner. If you enjoy historical homes with great architecture that is surrounded in nature, we highly recommend staying at the Ridgewood Estate!

Highlights of the stay were a really great backyard with pool and hot tub. Beds were comfortable and place was very well equipped. Host was accommodating and responsive.

Curtis provided all the amenities for a comfortable stay. His instructions were clear, and the neighbourhood was quiet and walkable. I would recommend his place for a family looking for a peaceful location, near trails and with easy access to Ottawa.

Spacious and great amenities. The host was wonderful. Stayed during a snow storm and we were promptly snow plowed. Comfortable and very great to respond. This is my first time leaving a 5 star rating. Booked two more times this year!

We had such a nice time! The place was squeaky clean, which is the most important thing for us when we book. The beds were comfortable and the linens cotton which matters for a great night. Don't have anything negative to say, but a suggestion for a coffee table in the living room :) The central air in the house is a bit loud, so if you are a light sleeper, some ear plugs can be useful. Will definitely want to book again in the summer.

My friends and I had a great two-night stay here! The home was clean, spacious, comfortable, and exactly as described. Check-in was easy, and the location was perfectly located for our visit. Serhat was friendly and proactive in responding to our needs and provided helpful detailed instructions—would definitely stay again!

Great spot, location was perfect for visiting my grandmother in Chapel Hill and our family in Orleans. Clean with great amenities and lots of space for my husband and I and our two kids as well as my parents. Would recommend!

The place was super nice, and definitely worth the amount. We stayed for over a month, and any time anything came up or we had a question, Patricia responded quickly and efficiently! Overall, the stay here was great.

We absolutely loved our stay at Debbie’s place. My husband and I stayed there thanksgiving weekend with our 1.5 year old daughter. We loved waking up to the beautiful views of the river every morning! Everything was so clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could ever need! We have already booked a trip here for next July!! I’m sure we’ll be back multiple times! Highly recommend this place!

Communication with Abdel was super easy and helpful. The location was great the space was great. The living room furniture could use some updates but over the space and accommodation was exactly what we needed during the Christmas break ❤️

House is lovely and so is the setting. I would be happy to stay there again. Both Nada and her husband helped us settle in and to use the facilities and amenities. There was room for our family and my extended family to visit and enjoy meals together.Everyone liked watching the boats pass by on the river.

Great host and great property

This has been the most positive experience to date.

Colin and Tracy's place worked perfectly for our needs. We were visiting family in the area and needed a place that accommodated some piece and quiet in a busy weekend. The unit they are renting out is beautifully bright, has a separate entrance, and a fenced in patio. The house is located in a sub division between Long Sault and Cornwall, not far from the Lost Villages Museum. The river and trail system is easily accessible within walking distance, but Hwy 2 is in between and can be a little tricky to cross depending on the time of day. Cornwall is an easy 15 min drive, where you can get just about anything you need. When we were in the area we lucked out with a poutine festival in Cornwall's river park. The unit is bright with high ceilings and sky lights. Everything was super clean and we had a full kitchen for our use. Colin and Tracy are so welcoming! They even spoiled us with some ice cream cake after dinner on Saturday. I highly recommend this place. Well worth it!
