We had a lovely stay at this tucked away little home. Cara gave clear instructions on how to use the amenities and stocked the house well for emergency situations like power outages. Our cat also felt comfortable in the home because the surroundings are private and quiet. Despite internet service in general not being great in that particular part of Ontario (Glengarry), Cara has equipped the home with an impressive setup that ensures good quality, fast internet throughout the house. And finally, Cara herself was a very responsive host, and even offered to greet us upon check in to show us around, although we weren't able to arrive at a time that Cara was available. Great experience!

We stayed at Chris’ place to celebrate our grandson’s first birthday party. The location was ideal for us & exactly as advertised. We’ll be back to stay in the spring/summer when we can enjoy the beautiful deck, fire pit & kayaks.

Exceptional stay! This place truly felt like a home away from home. Our hosts were incredibly nice, honest, and welcoming. We loved the amazing amenities, especially the movie theater and having three washrooms was a bonus! We're so grateful to have had the opportunity to stay here. Shams was a great host. Was very responsive when I messaged with a question. The Airbnb was perfect for what my partner and I needed. The home felt cozy and comfortable from the moment that we entered. Some people might dislike that there are a lot of stairs as the bedrooms are on the 3rd floor of the home.

Great stay! The view is unbeatable! The cabin was so clean and cozy! The bed was SO comfy! We took advantage of the games and the espresso machine! it had everything we needed and wanted.

we were lucky to stay in cottage 9 on the May long weekend, when they reopen the resort, and I should say it couldn't be better. The host was such a nice and informative lady to go behind our expectations and make our stay even more memorable. we will definitely recommend the place. Thank you for everything :)

Perfect stay for our big group. The home was very clean and super comfortable. It’s hard to find a place with lots of beds and sufficient parking, so this is a true gem. The host had great communication and was very accommodating. Can’t wait to be back!

Maria's house, the Ridgewood Estate is a beautiful 19th century historical home located in a picturesque area. The architecture and woodwork in this home is stunning! The large acreage is perfect for long walks and breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. There is a gorgeous pool that unfortunately we were not able to use due to the off season/cold weather. Maria was a perfect host. She was super responsive, polite and very communicative, always getting back to us in a very timely manner. If you enjoy historical homes with great architecture that is surrounded in nature, we highly recommend staying at the Ridgewood Estate!

Loved our long weekend over there!! the place is huge , the river is beautiful ! canoe , kayaks , paddle board..... fishing awesome!! the yard and pool is also awesome for kids and adults alike!! people were friendly and easygoing!! will visit again for sure!

Highlights of the stay were a really great backyard with pool and hot tub. Beds were comfortable and place was very well equipped. Host was accommodating and responsive.

My family enjoyed our stay very much. It was very cozy and had everything we needed. The kitchen was amazing and very well stocked. I did miss having check out instructions. We will definitely stay again. We really enjoyed having our 2 dogs stay with as well. Thank you for such a cozy place to stay.

The place was great! It was very clean and I was traveling alone as a female and I felt safe here. There are food places around and even within walking distance there were more restaurants. I was there during 2 snow storms and both times they had the driveway and walk way shovelled immediately. I highly recommend staying here.

This is my second year booking with Nicolas and we always have an amazing time. This has truly become my happy place, free from worries, this place is very peaceful. My family and I will definitely continue booking with Nicolas and creating amazing memories!

Excellent place to stay, very comfortable.

Très beau séjour. Logement propre et confortable. Le seul bémol est que j'ai manqué d'eau potable et que j'ai dû me rendre à l'épicerie la plus proche pour en acheter. Mais Brad en a apporté la soirée suivante. Il y avait des pistes de randonnée sur le site que mon chien et moi avons bien appréciées. Endroit parfait pour une courte retraite d'écriture! Merci Brad!

It is located about 3 kms from the south end of Casselman. The road is not busy but you can see Hwy 417 from the front yard. The interior was excellent for the two of us and our Yellow Lab. The king size bed is comfortable. The living room also had a very comfortable couch. The kitchen is well stocked and we found everything that we needed to make our meals. Thanks Justin for being an excellent host and responding to our questions quickly.
