absolutely fantastic place to stay! Even during the winter, we enjoyed the Lakeview and the mountains from the hot tub!

Great stay for a couple looking to ski at Jay Peak! The cabin was super cute and very cozy. Watching the sun set through the windows was stunning. The hot tub was very scenic and a great vibe after skiing. It’s about 10 minutes to Jay, and 3 minutes from an exceptional Asian fusion restaurant (Omakase). We’d stay there again for sure!

We enjoyed our stay at the Tea house! It was snowy and cold outside (perfect for skiing!), but the place was cozy and warm. We appreciated the French press coffee that was provided- much better than having "pods". We didn't have time to explore the hot tub and the rest of the grounds, but hopefully we will get to if we stay here again!

The cabin was more peaceful then we could imagine. The hot tub on the deck was perfect and secluded making our anniversary even more special. The feel was cozy and the board games made it fun!

Wonderful retreat close to Jay Peak. We loved how peaceful the property was, quiet even with most of the surrounding cabins occupied. We took advantage of the jacuzzi, steps from the cabin but surrounded with nature. Plenty of space for 4 plus our dogs. Our canines loved meeting all the other dogs staying in the cabins. The heated floor in the bathroom was definitely a cool feature. We will be back

We had a great time! Plenty of space for people to sleep, everything as described. Hot tub was fantastic and easy to put cover on and off. Beautiful area and great host!

Wonderful place to stay with family. Great location for skiing at Stowe. Beautiful location and very responsive host.

Convenient to our hunting spot, the accomodations were closer and far more comfortable than where we have stayed in the past. Ardie very accommodating, and helpful during our stay. Two of us will be returning in two weeks and hopefully again next year.

We had such a great family stay at The Cozy Cottage. You can tell that the home was very well built and it was extremely comfortable for our family with kids. The wood stove is awesome and heats up the whole house with plentiful wood in the basement and instructions to use the stove. The house was very clean and well appointed. We spent 2 nights there while we skied Sugarbush and the location was great for us. I would definitely recommend this home and look forward to returning next year!

This place is so wonderful! Everything is provided for your comfort. Rayna was great in communicating an issue about one of the toilet is not working and offered a full refund if that would be a problem, which it was not at all. The location is great. Easy access to the lake for swimming or kayaking (kayak/canoe is available for use). It has a nice patio for sitting while enjoying the sunset view. This makes it to the list of favorite places to stay.

This was our second stay at the Stuga. Last time was in May so we wanted to come back in the winter for some snow fun. Did some sledding at the house and some snowshoeing at Barr Hill Nature Preserve just up the street. A lot of fun and beautiful as always. Nancy and Bob are great hosts, always responsive. Will be back!

This cottage has to be one of the most charming, peaceful places I've stayed. The cottage is up on its own little hill, surrounded by blueberries, peonies and at night, fireflies. Caroline was flexible with our check-in and met us as soon as we got in to show us around. We came up for four nights in June with our dog, who loved having room to explore off leash. The cottage itself had everything we needed. The outdoor shower is a really nice touch, especially on a summer night. We also really appreciated little touches like two chargeable fans for warmer days/evenings, and little vases of flowers everywhere-- including in the clean, composting outhouse. Really amazing what they have managed to do on just solar power plus a couple propane appliances!! Nothing but good things to say about Caroline, Derek and their cottage.

We truly enjoyed the peace and quiet. The veranda is beautiful and because of the rainy weather we had, we were on the veranda most of the time! It is so cozy yet big enough for our 5 women! The beds were extremely comfortable as well as the bedding. We had the best time, laughing, eating, and playing games (not to mention a few cocktails). We are recharged and ready to go back to work! We stayed here in winter, needing to be in the area for family holiday gatherings, and it was very chilly that week (in the teens only!). The house is clearly made primarily for the summer months, but it is totally sufficient in the winter. The heat source is only in the front room, but we kept the ceiling fans on and there were lots of extra blankets! They used the space of the house very efficiently, especially downstairs with the bedroom off the kitchen (has a nice Murphy bed and sliding wall panels). The kitchen was sufficiently stocked for basic cooking/baking. While the water is drinkable, we found it does have a taste we didn't like, so we bought a jug of water to keep in the fridge. No issues with bathing or brushing teeth or dishes or anything. We did get to walk on the frozen lake, which my kids loved! There were people ice fishing as well. Overall its a cute little lake cottage! Heather was very responsive, flexible and helpful!

Stef’s place is truly a gem— cozy, tasteful, and well equipped for a little weekend in the woods. We appreciated the wood stove and the large supply of games. Would absolutely stay again.

My wife and I absolutely loved our winter stay at Anne’s cottage. The space itself was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. We arrived late, but were able to settle in and feel right at home in 10 minutes - the space had everything we needed. We loved to open windows with views of the frozen lake (early March) - so quiet and so peaceful. The space was about 35-40 minutes from Burlington, so now far for exploring the town and having dinner. It was all a wonderful experience and we plan to return in the summer.

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at this cabin! The views from the cabin are beautiful, and you can’t beat the location directly on the lake. The lake views from inside, the screened in porch, and the backyard were awesome. The kitchen had supplies to make breakfasts/basic meals, the space was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We used this cabin as a home base for visiting Burlington, Waterbury, and Stowe and found it easy to navigate to and from the highway to these larger cities.

Morgan is the perfect host, providing everything necessary to a magical stay in their remarkable cabin. I had complete privacy and quiet, but knew she was readily available if I had any questions or needs. The cabin itself is a wonder of architecture, with every detail carefully thought out and rendered. There are books galore and CDs, the slipper foot bathtub is amazing, and the back patio offers a peaceful view of trees and meadow. The property is dotted with wonderful sculptures by her husband, Alan. I watched the sun rise and set and walked down the very dark night road to look at the stars. The woods are my favorite place to be, and there was no shortage of local hiking trails. The general store just down the street is staffed by very friendly folks, and I bought a new favorite coffee mug made by a local artisan. In short, my stay was everything I hoped it would be, and I would highly recommend it.

Very peaceful/quiet stay. Beds were comfortable as many mentioned and it was enough space for our family of 4. No issues with heat or hot water in the winter. We did have a lot of rain when we were there and snow on the last day, which made driving up/down the mountain a bit tricky but us city folk survived :)

Patti was a wonderful host- she was very proactive in making sure we got to the location easily as well as providing ideas for us to do while we were there. The place was wonderful, cozy, and surrounded by beautiful trees. I would recommend this to any leaf peepers or someone wanting a quiet Vermont getaway.

This was a beautiful stay. We really enjoyed our time here. The house was spacious and cute. Loved spending evenings near the lakefront watching the sunset. Short drive to Pointe au roche for trails.
