Julie is an outstanding host! This house is perfect for any getaway. It was clean, spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and STUNNING outdoor area with a gorgeous pool. This is 3 FULL baths and 1/2 bath!! Two kitchens! Two family rooms! You had space! It made you want to relax! The kitchen was well stocked with any utensil or appliance you would need. It was private. You could really escape and get away. Woodbury and the surrounding towns were jampacked with things to do. There were many places to choose from to eat. Such a variety from steak, seafood, pizza, and American fare pubs and other specialty restaurants. Lots of variety/antique shops, flea market, wine/liquor stores, convenience stores. Just a short drive into Southbury you find more shops, antiques, restaurants, bigger, grocery store, etc. We also drove to a few other neighboring towns. All under 45 minutes. Friendly people! We had a wonderful time! Price is fabulous, house/outdoor area is A+ value! Thank you Julie!!

This getaway was very last minute and there was huge importance on it because I needed some time away and because I had never booked an Airbnb before. I wanted to make sure that my family and I were able to be someplace peaceful and have a really good time and Brian’s home provided just that. The stay was so much more than we expected and Brian was absolutely amazing. He’s super responsive and accommodating. Hoping to stay here again in the near future!

This place exceeded our expectations! An incredible place that was clearly a labor of love to build, decorate and maintain. I don’t imagine anyone who stays here will be disappointed - or soon forget their visit to this lovely property. Not only is it carefully and cleverly curated as a habitable homage to The Hobbit and the LOTR, it is also a genuinely comfortable and charming place to stay. The kitchen is well-equipped and the bathrooms are roomy and modern. Lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy, including the hot tub, nestled at the foot of a dramatic, rocky rise. Thanks to Jodi and Jim!

We stayed at Ryan's place while visiting family in the area over the holiday weekend. The place was comfortable and clean and the bonus of being able to bring our pups was the best part. The dog park down the road was amazing and the locals were very friendly. The location was great, very convenient to shops, grocery store, gas etc. Overall we had a great time. Thanks again, Ryan!

We loved Leslie's place and would book here again in a heartbeat - especially in beach season (we were there mid-April). We opted for Leslie's because of its great location over a much larger home with more amenities in the same price range - we were not disappointed! We have two teenage boys and we felt comfortable letting them explore the neighborhood on their own while we squeezed in a few hours of work. Walk or bike to beach, park, basketball courts, restaurants/bars, laundry and more. Encountered many friendly neighbors on our walks. Average 15 min drive to explore lots in West Haven/New Haven. The deck is almost as large as the house with a grill and great furniture. The fully fenced yard was perfect for our dog - even she felt right at home immediately! The inside is nicely decorated and very comfortable. I loved having my coffee/beer/ cocktail on the deck in view of Long Island Sound with my dog sunning herself by my feet! I highly recommend for couples or families of all ages!

We had a wonderful time at Deirdre’s place which was a last minute booking. She was very responsive and we felt so much at home, with everything we needed to keep our family of 5 safe and occupied. We especially loved the playroom and books for all ages. The backyard tire swing and bird watching was a hit with my bigger kids too. There was lots of space to spread out if we had come with more family as well. Great stay- thank you again, Deirdre!

The neighborhood was beautiful. We walked out to an island that was only accessible at low tide. Great shared spaces with fun rooms and lovely bedrooms.

Johannas place was clean, just as described and had everything we needed for our quick one night stay. We brought our puppy and the back yard made it easy for us.

Great place, pictures are representative. The whole place is huge and just a perfect place to stay. Location is amazing, walkable to the New Haven green and loads of restaurants and bars. Martin is a great host and leaves very clear instructions which is really helpful. Would definitely stay again. Only note- floors/ceiling seem quite thin so the upstairs neighbours could hear us and we could hear them at certain points of the day. But that did not dampen our trip at all. If anyone is visiting we highly recommend Trinity on orange street, amazing Irish pub with sports and classic pub grub. And Georgie’s diner in west haven - classic American diner style with great food options.

We enjoyed our stay at Samantha and Robert’s place. Convenient location, close to downtown and the beach. The place is spacious and cozy. Samantha and Robert provided us with everything we needed.

Clean, quiet and comfortable. We found this apartment to be an outstanding choice for a long weekend after an event at Fairfield University. Everything was so clean and tastefully decorated. The carriage house is located back off the road, making it a quiet and peaceful place to take a break. Having our car parked inside under our apartment was wonderful as we could safely leave items in the car without worry and have easy access to the car at night and during some rain. Comfortable and quality bedding, soft towels and good shower/soap products. Great communication! If I ever return to the area this will be my first choice! Thanks for the great stay!

Our stay was extremely quiet until the upstairs neighbors returned. We don't have kids or pets so we're very used to quiet. Getting used to hearing upstairs neighbors took getting used to for me. The place was chock full of supplies, coffee, Scrabble and welcoming decor. The bed was outstandingly comfortable. The bathroom was modern and creative! The outdoor patio, activities and view of the creek were impressive. This is definitely on our "to return to" list.

My friend and I stayed for a short trip at Maria's location and it was exactly what we needed, a place to stay for our trip that was well kept, had amenities, and fresh linen available. Parking spot was small, but is to be expected in an attached parking garage.

Camila was a great host, very responsive and always helpful. The apartment was clean, tidy and cosy and made us feel at home very quickly. Location was good, walkable distance to New Haven Green and its surroundings. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend Camila’s place to anyone planing to spend some time in New Haven.

Elizabeth's place was extremely well appointed. Nice towels and sheets, and comfortable sofa/chairs. Kitchen is well equipped. Bathroom has a nice big tub, and her decorations are very nice. Definitely has a woman's touch!

This was our second stay at Dariel’s place. It is perfect for our family and I always check to see if it is available when we are visiting the area. It is spacious yet cozy, and well-appointed. It is easy to get to, and central to both sides of town.

Entrada bem tranquila, acesso bem facil. A casa estava limpa e organizada, roupa de cama e banho otimas. localizacao muito boa bem proximo do comercio e parques, dá pra fazer tudo andando. Super recomendado. Apesar de devidamente informada atraves do descritivo, senti falta de maquina de lavar louca e roupa, devido ao longo periodo que fiquei na casa (3 semanas). o colchao é de mola e bem mole, entao pode ser um desafio para quem nao gosta de colchao mole. nao possui exaustor no fogao, entao deve ter cuidado com fritura e fumaca, pois o alarme de incendio pode disparar, neste caso deve-se manter as janelas do quarto e da sala aberta para circular o ar.

Anna described her place as a Cozy Condo...and it was. It was just the right size for a couple. Loved how she decorated the place. It was comfortable, pleasant, and had everything we needed. I will look into staying again next year.

The space is adorable, and we loved the history of the rental and the community. The location was perfect for us—close to everything and secluded all at the same time. Also Jeff is an amazing host and made us feel welcome/at home. The next time we have to head to NY for a family visit we will definitely try to stay here again.
